  5. Druids being compatible with machine spirits and klones is something I think Keefy added last year? Regardless they are compatible with the current write of druidism anyway (don't entirely disagree either though.)

  7. I think making the magic stronger while reducing their physical drawbacks might not be the best idea. HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised by how well thought out and written this is. I can definitely see the months of work that went into it! Hope things work out in MAG.

Epiphytes are unable to use any deity magic other than Seer or Druidism, are unable to use Voidal or Dark Magic, other than Blood Magic, and can use all Feats and Misc Magics unless otherwise stated. Epiphytes cannot become any other CA after transformation, including Siliti, Tree Lords, or Machine Spirits. Changed to Epiphytes are unable to use any deity magic other than Seer , Shamanism, or Druidism, are unable to use Voidal or Dark Magic, other than Blood Magic, and can use all Feats and Misc Magics unless otherwise stated. Epiphytes cannot become any other CA after transformation, including Siliti, Tree Lords, or Machine Spirits. This does not apply after death should the epiphyte's soul not become a fae plant after death, such as the case for phantoms. These undead would still bear floral characteristics, but none of the traits and abilities of epiphytes. OOC Purpose For the addition of shamanism, this is a bit of a complex thing. I originally did not allow epiphytes to become shamans in the rewrite because I was told by LT that they where incompatible, and so incompatible in fact that they could not even benefit from spiritual blessings. This turned out not to be the case. Epiphytes can go to Star'gush if they die as a spiritualist, and they do not have to worship their plant (nor does having a close family member stop anyone from being a shaman) so I personally think it should work again. For the change to CA compatibility, I was a bit too heavy handed with the limitations to the point it doesn't make sense. If an epiphyte dies but their soul is not dragged to the fae realm, they no longer have any soul connection to the plant, and as such would be able to become phantoms and such. This would only apply to things which occur after they are dead, not things that kill and then revive them as part of the transformation.
  10. Would you mind removing the thing about epiphytes being unable to use it during rebirth for me as well? The new epiphyte lore does not make them children after rebirth so they would be able to use it as normal.

  12. I probably shouldn't be listed as a writer since the most I wrote here was the wording for some rough draft witch doctor abilities which have ended up in here. Personally think this is formatted well, but it seems like a combative, aesthetic, and cultural downgrade of current farseer. A lot of these abilities are essentially unchanged from current farseer lore, weakened versions of already weakened abilities in farseer, or abilities taken essentially unchanged from the general shamanism abilities and packaged as farseer spells. This would negatively impact the magic if it was accepted.

  14. For one this is still significantly weaker than what is available for other one slot magics, let alone voidal one slot magics. For non-combative uses evocations have extremely freeform ones which kind of defeat the purpose of having a large variety. For instance fog is possible with air's non-combative magic, erosion would just be possible with creating streams of water, and manipulating or evaporating existing water is the domain of shamanism and not possible in voidal magic. Fundamentally evocations do not have a lot of non-combative spells because one does essentially everything they could possibly do with the magic. Add in circling rituals as a further freeform way of doing essentially anything at a large scale and it's really not necessary. Also remember that most one to two slot magics that don't have a lot of combative spells lack them because they also have no negative consequences for obtaining that magic. Voidal magic makes you a frail, exhausted noodle.

  16. Kind of nice, but you might as well just allow conjuration limbs to be fully organic flesh/plant limbs as jing would not be usable on them anyways.
  17. I agree with the change, though I don't think telekinetic limbs should have better telekinesis that actual tier 5 transfigurationists. It should either be equivalent to move object for a tier 3 transfigurationist like the other limbs are or the spell should be buffed as well.

  19. IMO there should be a blanket player event rule that bones/hide/etc can be equivalent to mundane materials like steel or leather. Currently there are a lot of monsters which cannot be repurposed because if it's not explicitly mentioned lt has generally not allowed people to make things out of it.
