  1. Glad you put all of the work I've done on the family tree into a nice graph. The Aaun stuff is pretty rough and will probably have some revisions as I continue lugging through old lore posts and synthesizing the wide array of works the best I can. Regarding the Jorenite succession- that has been a long-term project of mine, and hopefully I will get something official on the forums whenever I get the time to go on a 48 hour writing binge. Keep it up +1

We have urgent need of the assistance of the Curia. During our reclamation and resettlement project within the Outremont, a posse of Sedanian warriors stumbled upon a most mysterious and unnatural land formation. As some of the features within this area resemble the descriptions of Netheric forces in Aegisian and Anthosian records, we are concerned that it might be demonic in nature. Oyashiman architecture may denote that some within their Almarisian diaspora could have more information. We have included sketches of the site in question below. For the time being, we have placed the area under a strict exclusion zone. We urge the Church come post haste. Sincerely, Robert II, Prince of Sedan"

  12. Reoccupation of Joannesport 14 Harren’s Folly, 1912 ((screenshot from @annanicole__)) Night falls upon the empty streets of Joannesport, with only few lights emerging from the number of soldiers and commonfolk who have recently taken residence in the abandoned municipality. Within the dusty castle, a young prince sits at a recently cleaned oaken desk. He is adorned in strange, foreign clothing: silk robes dyed a most vivid shade of purpose, outlined with translucent turquoise and amber, a gift from an Oyashiman merchant during his youth. As if by habit, he would constantly touch the long scar which stretched from his chest to his forehead- another ‘gift’ from overseas. After some time in his own thoughts and pursuing his books, he finally chose to write, though at first his thoughts escaped him. He had not taken to the scrivener’s quill since his dalliance at the scriptoriums of Ba’as, and he stared at the blank parchment with worrisome calculations. He began to breath in slow, trained breaths, sitting still as he sought back to his training in Magian meditation. After some time, his mind became as a tabula rasa- a blank canvas screaming for an artist. He took up his quill, dotting in the inkwell, and began to write... --- Dear father, God’s blessings upon ye, with earnest love of Man. Pray do I for your continued health, the health of your faithful brothers and the entirety of the Abbey of St. Alexander-on-the-Cliffs, surely favored by His Divine Light. You have sent me letter after letter diligently, though I fail to conjure up my own due response. These days have been like whirlwind- from place to place, James, Isaac, and myself ride like banshees on the prowl, roaming a land both familiar yet alien. From lords to knights to peasants have I traveled and dined with, including your very former wife- though I know what you will say on that matter. Most recently, our coz and majesty has taken me in- to my shock, he has given full support to myself and my paltry posse. Thanks to his charitable patronage, I have led an expedition in order to reclaim the ruins my brother left behind and I now scribe this very correspondence within your old, dusty study. The few soldiery who followed now garrison the castle, though the city still lays bare; windows shattered, furniture looted and destroyed, if one walks currently through its streets, it is as if Joannesport was lost to the chaos of the elements. The obstacles ahead shall be strenuous and tenacious, though with God, we shall persevere through these troublesome trials. And of course, as is the tradition of the Goats, we stumbled upon bandits in our journey. Together with the brave men of the Duchy of Minitz, we captured two and slaughtered the rest. James personally beheaded them before King Charles. Curiously, all the brigands bore weapons of Petran marking and origin. Future incursions by vagabonds must be watched with attentive eye. During our reclamation efforts of Joannesport, King Charles (who had accompanied us on the march) and James stumbled upon a sight which sadly affirmed your worst fears. Within the former chambers of my brother, Frederick, we found an idol to the cursed, heretical creature known as Azdromoth… ((screenshot from @Dogged)) Not only has he lost the land you and grandfather worked so hard to gain as well as the Joannes name for a marriage to a Petran, but he apparently has also sold his very soul for wicked intent. I have instructed all Sedanians to pray for his salvation, though part of me feels it is too late to save his manipulated mind. May God have mercy upon him. Lastly, as per your request, the goat herds which we have brought on boat have taken remarkably well in returning to their indigenous habitat. As promised, I shall send to you the first batch of honeyed goat cheese to the monastery. Your Son, Robert

  15. Do you believe that the gradual shift towards OOC politics was inevitable or do you think it could have been prevented? I am in the former camp- with the advent of communication mediums like Discord and an aging playerbase, it seems to me the evolution from the innocent days of 2012 LotC to present day was going to happen regardless. Also, side note: doxxing and other heinous acts were very common back in the day and are not necessarily products of the times. It seems to me actually these deeds are done less frequently than in the past, though that might be because I don’t hang around the playerbases that are inclined to doxx/ddos/etc as I used to in my younger years.
