  1. The answer is quite simple, really. I, crayfishchris, have captured shiftnative and am holding him hostage. If you ever want to see your 4.0, then you will give me a total of five american dollar, and he shall be freed, but until then, he remains my own source of personal income. Look at him. Look at how sad he is. Do you want the shiftnative to remain sad? Well, send me my five dollar and he shall be free to work on your 4 point oh. In other words, I've set up a new attraction on the dev server. View the shiftnative for a low low price. Have a good day, folks. (In other words, small update. 4.0 is actually very near completion :3.)
  2. ((This makes everything so much easier. Sporadic you are amazing.))
  3. 3.0 or riot! Am I doing it right?

  4. I'm sorry, but do you even internet? My permissions beat yours by like... 12. You cannot beat my e-power. Probably should have noted the tone of this post... ergh... alright.... ̿'̿'\̵͇̿̿\з=( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)=ε/̵͇̿̿/'̿̿ ̿ ̿ 4.0 OR RIOT ̿ '̿'\̵͇̿̿\з=( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)=ε/̵͇̿̿/'̿̿ ̿ ̿
  5. What would you like? To go to a nearly-finished 4.0 and have a half-made transition (that'll likely be awful), or wait a few days and actually, you know... have a good time? This is not the same as MPM. Please don't start spamming the forums.
  6. Markarth, 4E 201 Understone Keep, once relatively quiet, was now bustling. Messengers ran back and forth left and right, farmers and villagers came in with frightening tales, patrolling guards passed through, a merchant or two sold their wares to the men of the court. Jarl Krag had been forced to expand his court. The messy-haired middle-aged Nord could not rule the Reach alone, he needed men. Smart ones, at that. With intelligence, however, came ambition. And ambition, in the wrong places, could be dangerous. He did like the men he had chosen, although his heart thumped loudly in his chest every time the talk turned to war. "The Forsworn are moving east, Jarl," said one Charo Yor, a Redguard of a large stature. He had taken the place of the old Thane, and was the picture perfect image of a hero. The men adored him (and the women too). "I say we strike, run through their men and women whilst they have their backs turned." "No," grunted Karnoth, "I will not go back on my word. My only hope is that they'll dash themselves upon the Stormcloak rebels and we'll be rid of two troubles. If not, and they do emerge victorious, I will make good on my word. The Forsworn will have the right to settle... eastern... and maybe a bit of the southern Reach." "I do not think that is wise. They scare the people-" "They scare them because they have no choice! This new leader seems... willing. Willing to work with us. If we can join our two groups together... our... small armies will become one larger one." "As you say, sir. In other words, we've actually trained more men than we thought we could. A total of 23 new recruits joined us this morning, all ready to go out into the field." "To be sure, however, I'm not entirely certain that we can armor incoming men, sir," the one who spoke us was Veltus Avenicci, who had family all across Skyrim, renowned for their moneykeeping skills. With him at his side, Krag was hopefully in a good position, "I would suggest... creation of a foundry... and getting new mines?" "New mines... how?" "Kolskeggr is held by Forsworn, a terrible calamity... however... we could take advantage of this. The Forsworn are by all means basic in terms of creation... an... economic venture might be profitable." "Eurgh. Stop throwing words around, Veltus. I get what you're saying. Send word to the Forsworn at once." "And brother," said Harr, "We should send men to encampments like Karthspire, make them proper." "Indeed. Begin housing there at once, and send some older men to the settlements. I can't have anywhere raided, and I don't trust those Forsworn... yet. What of the siege fortifications?" "Well, for one thing I would say we are now the largest fortress in Skyrim... well... next to Whiterun and Solitude, of course. Speaking of the Empire... a new soldier requests your presence. Quite an important one, too. You are a new Jarl, I would suggest meeting him, in case his honor would be slighted. You know how these imperial types get." "Right... I will ride with twenty men. See that the tasks are completed." "Yes, sir!" they all call, standing as Karnoth Krag makes his way to exit the Keep. He had a restless night ahead of him, followed by a hard ride in the morning to whoever this new Imperial was. -------------Actions------------- 23 men are recruited. They join the garrison at Markarth. Jarl Krag, 15 soldiers, and 5 mages ride to meet Octavian. Several of the soldiers will be there to join the Imperial army, as a response to Octavian's request. They will arrive in ((1 page)). Markarth begins construction of a foundry. It shall be ready in ((3 pages)) Markarth begins construction of a second smithy. It shall be ready in ((2 pages)) 30 men head to guard Karthspire camp, 10 to Old Hroldan A messenger is sent to the Forsworn, thanking them on their cooperation and offering an economic deal where the mined materials in Kolskeggr mine shall be processed by Markarth, for a small fee. They are asked if any assistance is needed. 20 men are sent to Whiterun to help with repairs. Trade offers are sent to all Imperial holds, to see if any Jarls are in need of stone/metal. Status on projects: 2 Farms: COMPLETE. Food production within the Reach is increased. Siege fortifications: Complete. The defense of Markarth is increased. 10. Wheeee... two characters, because why not Character Name: Yulnii Elibar'acal Character Age (approx.): 51 Character Race: High Elf Character allegiance (Oren, Dwarves, etc...): Haelun'or Short description of their looks: http://imgur.com/a/joi68#0 <--- The images in there. She is very thin (surprisingly so), deep blue eyes, blonde hair, a constant smirk on her face. Short description of their personality: A snarky, sarcastic individual who always seems like she is playing some sort of long joke. She is quick to befriend and quick to anger, and holds any slight against her family to be one against her. Other: Yulnii is one of the more powerful users of Fi'hiiran'tanya, the anti-magic. It can be seen as a blue mist when she conjures it up, and can negate most magic (the exception is necromancy). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Name: Kristian von Craw Character Age (approx.): 50 Character Race: Human Character allegiance (Oren, Dwarves, etc...): Sellsword (most likely Oren) Short description of their looks: http://imgur.com/a/pyIYK#0 <--- Once again, pictures in that album. A soldier with gray hair, gray eyes, a hooked nose, and a sickly pink birthmark that stretches over half his body. He's not very pleasing to look at. Short description of their personality: Brash, to the point, and honorbound. He values caution above most things, seeking to wait until losses to himself would be the least. Other: Kristian fights with a morningstar (spiked mace). He has four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. The elder girl and two boys are of his blood, and bear the same birthmark he does, just not as severe (It is on their hands and feet). The children with the birthmark are grown up. In his past, Kristian fought for House Valois.
  11. What do I do?!???!?!?!?!?!!!!?!!?!?1!?!??
  12. If a person doesn't know how to roleplay a magic properly, then talk to them and try and help them out (not just ICly, but OOCly). It's honestly not hard. Magic isn't complex, folks.
  13. Markarth, 4E 201 "Sir, we found a letter outside our city. A message from the Forsworn," stated Harr, Karnoth's brother. He was a stout man with a pug-nosed face and long beard, a stark opposite in comparison to his tall, stubbly, and thin brother. "What news of Mikke and Ronoy?" They had not heard from them in weeks. "The... Forsworn apologize for the loss of our messengers, sir. They were ambushed and killed." "Bloody barbarians. I bet they want utter freedom and solitary rule of the land, as well?" "Y-yes sir." "Get out of my sight, brother." Harr scurried off, leaving the man in peace. Jarl Karnoth Krag sat alone on his stone chair, deep in thought for many hours. The Forsworn were a numerous and annoying enemy. A war with them would leave the land scarred and defeated, especially with rebelling forts and troublesome Stormcloaks. But internal affairs came first, as they always did. A Jarl's duty was to his people. "Harr! Get my scribes! I've got a lot of writing to do..." -Actions- 1. The terms of the Forsworn are denied. Response this time is sent via an armed caravan of 15 Markarth guards, to drop the letter at the feet of the first Forsworn officer they came across. They would enter under a banner of peace. The new terms would ensure right to settle for the Forsworn, so long as they were to fight against the Stormcloaks in the farther east. 2. A messenger is sent, unarmed, to Sunguard fort via the northern roads (Need to get around through Whiterun hold, cannot directly enter in the Reach). The message would state that the men of Sunguard would not be pursued by Reach soldiers if they were to help deal and exterminate the Forsworn menace, one camp at a time. They would receive any assistance required. 3. A messenger is sent to Whiterun, asking if the Jarl there needs any help in garrisoning the city. Markarth has plenty of Imperial troops that can help with repairs and defense for the time being. 4. A messenger is sent to Falkreath via the southern roads, speaking of trade and good tidings. If their friends to the east were in any need of help, Markarth would surely deliver. Wood and... special men would be appreciated in return for weapons and stone. 5. Recruitment begins in Markarth and nearby settlements. The men are trained at a rate of 20 men ((the first page)) and then 10 thereafter. 6. Fortifications around Karthwasten are starting to take form. They shall be ready in ((2 pages)). 7. Twenty men are sent to Old Hroldan Status on projects: 2 Farms: COMPLETE. Food production within the Reach is increased. Siege fortifications: In progress ((1 turn)) Karthwasten walls: Beginning ((2 turns)) Soldiers available: Civilian militia: 101 (spread out) Guards: 430 (Markarth), 100 (Karthwasten), 20 (Old Hroldan) 15 Imperial Soldiers (Markarth) Mages: 30 (Markarth)

  15. Look at that gorgeously giant nose. Look at it. You avoid being banned... for now.
  16. I was tempted to write a sarcastic and altogether, well, silly, response, but it's too late. While not incredibly hilarious, it gave me a slight smile, although it seems to be humor that would poke fun at others. Nothing against it myself, I'm a bit more worried about some of the responses. Just be nice to people and be constructive. I'm hardly thinking right now to give this a proper view. Dear lord I need sleep. G'night.

  19. Markarth, 4E 201 Jarl Karthon sat in his throne in the city of Markarth. Hard stone, hard deeds, hard times. The words of his family, the Krags. They were nothing but a little Nord family, upjumped by Karthon's coup'd'etat on the previous Jarl of the stone city. But, bloody hell, the chairs didn't need to embody his motto. Krags were miners, but that didn't mean they had to sit on granite every hour of every day. He was an older man, with a unruly head of gray hair and dark stubble along his chin, which was as tough as the stone which surrounded him. Krags were miners, not fighters, but the muscles he gained in the mines were enough to have led a guard rebellion to overthrow the previous Jarl. He was ineffective, letting Forsworn run free and having next to no progress in the town. He, however, would change all that. There would be no more laziness in the city of stone, the safest city in the reach. He sends 100 guards from the city to Karthwasten to protect the towns, and the rest enter a phase of training. Siege fortifications begin on the town's wall (boiling oil, arrow slits), and shall be completed within the turn of the seasons ((2 pages)). 2 new farms outside Markarth are to be created and will be ready soon ((1 page)). Stone and smithing are now the focused revenues of Markarth. Emissaries are sent to the Jarls of holds loyal to the Imperial forces. It is a request to rid the land of Forsworn and send soldiers, to better advance the cause. An envoy is sent to this new Forsworn leader, hoping for terms of a Forsworn withdrawal. A message is sent to Solitude stressing Markarth's loyalty to the Imperials.
