also @Papa Liam Dems need to go moderate and focus on issues that matter or go home

@Hero_Prodigal 70% of Americans support Medicare-For-All, including 52% of Republicans, 63% of Americans now support free college, and 77% of Americans now want to severely limit the influence of corporate finances in politics, which has also become the top issue among a lot of progressive voters. Between all these democratic insurgents knocking off incumbents across the country, and the fact that Sanders is consistently ranked the most popular politician in the country, it's clear to see where the political winds are swaying.
The mainstream democrats know that they're losing support, that's why they're starting to focus on these progressive issues, but the "centrist" strategy is so laughably out of touch that nobody wants to pay any mind to the establishment anymore. Populists are the way of the future, and unless dems realize that, then they can say hello to Trump 2020. -
@Papa Liam Many focus on the wrong progressive issues tho even though what u said are all important populist issues - dems need a populist who isn’t extreme and is actually likeable (sorry to say 0 female dems come to mind for likeability or presidential ability). Imo they should really campaign on those two issues u mentioned rather than other issues (cutting taxes for middle class and poor while raising them on the richest should sell well)
