All players under the age of 18 should be removed from LOTC. Currently LOTC is a rated R server that allows players 13 to 17 to play with parent's consent. Players in this age bracket aren't fully functioning (same reason we don't offer them alcohol) and aren't always capable of understanding and capable of being informed about various situations.
Most of these players also join LOTC without their parent's consent, so many of them aren't being supervised properly.
You may argue that this isn't the proper way to fix our problems, but LOTC is a rated R roleplay community that used minecraft as a platform. LOTC Administration does not have access or availability to pure logs from Discord, Skype, etc. LOTC Administration aren't trained law enforcement, they are unpaid volunteers that work to help the community in any ways.
It should not be the expectation that the LOTC Administration is responsible to educate minors. The child's parent should be doing this.

@Josie_ExoticWe do, but that's not enough. LOTC does not have the funding, man power, or operations to be able to educate and protect underage players that are not abiding by the terms of service. Quoting LOTC's standards:
In order to accept this Agreement and to use the Services, you must be a resident of an Authorized Jurisdiction and be at least 18 years of age, or if you have parental/guardian consent, at least 13 years of age in all other Authorized Jurisdictions ("Minimum Age"). The Services are not intended for users under the Minimum Age.
Many individuals aged 13 - 17 that are members of this server violate this ToS. There is no easy way to enforce parent's consent currently, a more fool proof way would be removing all players in question from the server as their minds develop. I agree with banning pedophiles, racists, and any others who violate LOTC policy. But, we must protect individuals from harm on LOTC's platform. What is the safest way to protect these underage players is to not allow them to use our service in the first place.

ok cool but people can just lie ezez k? so in that situation a child logs into the server and starts talking to someone older than them and starts a romantic relationship. Say the child trusts the older person with their real age n the older person is like hehe yeah tell everyone ur 18. Then they r public w the relationship and nobody will rly know any grooming happened at all (cause everyone is supposedly over 18?????? LMAOFCJKMEDAL<). Even if said child wanted help they couldn't really reach out to get the help from server staff without being banned from the server themself mmmmmmmmmmok? and with a childs mentality they care more about not being banned then reporting a pedophile. So basically they r unsafe + pedo can harass them almost freely bc blackmail from getting banned + they have less help than before. ok? its not like u can force everyone to age verify themselves w IDs or sumthin cause like u said not enough resources lmfao anyways bye. at that point u might as well jsut shut down serfver xddddd
