"Well, sure. I would not obstruct this." Renilde murmured, scribbling a formal response to Father Blackwater hastily.- 5 replies

"Huh, who is this again?" Renilde remarked from within the safety of her panic room, having predicted this heinous ordeal long before it'd occurred. "Quite strange for myself to be false if I am the rightfully anointed in the eyes of GOD..."

"This is all we want," the archduchess claimed before her council after scanning the missive. "We do not wish to throw stones at the church, good people; we wish for our homeland to be accepted and no longer ignored by GOD's disciples. Why must we venture to Aaun or Haense in search of a man of the cloth for a simple wedding, only for that man to be late and deep in his cups? We've been made a mockery of here, and it is constantly played off as us 'pushing the church away', and straying from GOD." Renilde sent down her fist 'pon the table, causing the glassware to shudder. Eyeing each one of her councilors with a fierce glare, she continued in an even tempered voice. "I'm afraid, however, that it is the other way around. We've been first ignored by GOD's alleged loyal servants, made a mockery of, and then targeted by this inquisition of theirs, each victim they traumatize being close to the heart of Petra. At what point will it all stop? At what point will they allow us to worship Canon just as we've been asking to for the better part of the decade? All we want is to host mass for our people and to have a reliable, Petran cardinal to confide in. We must press on, for our ultimatum is not out of the question." That steely gaze met each Round Table Councilors' individually, and deliberately, before she demanded of her assembly as a whole, "Are you with me?"

A River of Stars Agreed on 7th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1908 Between the Principality of Celia’nor and the Commonwealth of Petra The Principality of Celia’nor and the Commonwealth of Petra, after many lengthy discussions, see themselves sharing a similar mindset and goal for the future of their own people and respective realms. Because of this, the two nations unite in an alliance and pursue success together in the midst of such a dark world. The signatories agree to settle any dispute between them or in which they may be involved through peaceful means in such a manner that this alliance and the laws of the signatories are not endangered. IV. The signatories agree to consult together whenever, in the opinion of either of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of the signatories is threatened. V. That each signatory shall offer their preferred weaponry as export to one another’s nations. SECTION IV: CULTURE The signatories agree that a pact of cultural exchange shall begin between both parties, with each agreeing: I. "The Dwed have always been a good friend to us," Renilde remarked to her husband and chancellor as they returned with the news of another full alliance. "Good work, gentlemen." @Eddywilson2 @Da_Emperors

At a meeting much later in the saint's week, the Archduchess found herself sitting across the table from her beloved nephew, Frederick II of Sedan, and her very own sister, Charlotte Roberta. The two had declared their intent to marry, which brought Renilde a great joy to see the happiness Charlotte had displayed, despite the humiliation she'd gone through prior at the hands of the church and the emotional strife it'd brought Renilde's beloved little sister. "First, we marry the two of you off before the dragon gets here, so we all go to battle merry and satisfied by the celebrations to follow. You will make a big fuss of this! Send the invitations out now!" @Cepheid @outcook

"It had to be done," Renilde murmured in disdain at the end of the long meeting, happy to attend a lighthearted picnic following the tense get-together.
-
“It was such a lovely meeting,” the archduchess told the King of Haense and Ophelie de Falstaff on her way back down the Petra.
-
"Now these are some quality products!" Renilde remarked to those gathered in the Petran Patriot, sampling several flights of the featured liquor. "Blue Waters is my favorite!"
-
"My king..." Renilde sighed upon receiving the news, having expected the King of Haense's passing for quite a while.
-
"I've a few jobs for them..." Renilde began jotting down her latest mysteries onto a piece of parchment, a crease forming between her brows.
-
Renilde puts on her hat and prepares for a trip to see Sir Artiev, the commonwealth's treasurer, to take out a large sum of money; her intention was to visit the 'Shop of the Year' and purchase herself a new set of earrings with pendant to match. She had parties to attend, and would be damned if she didn't look the best there. "Petra poppin'," Renilde murmured the personal mantra to herself upon making her way to the Colborn estate.
-
"This is what I did today." Renilde conveyed to her travel-exhausted husband at the end of an evening spent celebrating Constanz's return with their loved ones. The woman smiled from ear to ear in pride while displaying the pact with her new Urguani acquaintances. "They were such a funny folk, yet crass; had me in stitches most of the time, much like our people! We'd do well to learn a thing or two from them, and they'd fit right in with the Petrine populace whenever it is that our nations organize a mingling in the future..." Renilde went on and on, though her husband was undoubtedly in another world, continuing his travels via unconsciousness.

"What sort of a creature does a horse and a crow make?" The archduchess shuddered at the thought, but was comforted by the fact that the two animals, in the real world, could not procreate together... as far as she was aware. Renilde could be found in the library later on, researching the two animals and whether it would be possible for them to reproduce together. Many hours later, she was pleased to discover this travesty to be of fiction, but left the archives yearning for a winged horse.
-
"I love this," Renilde said in a detached sort of way, eagerly thumbing through the catalogue.
-
why did you have to go and get banned when your nation needed you the most. you're literally avatar: the last emperor.
-
“Huh, no mention that the Sons new base is actually my childhood home which I bequeathed to them… at least call it Castle Moere!” A nostalgic Renilde held back tears with a wobbling lip.
-
"Why on Almaris would we sponsor someone else's war when that chapter of humanity has just been closed?" The archduchess of Petra plotted in her tower for a meeting with the Ser Lucien of Petra, and 'Ser' Darius of the ruined Orenian Kingdom, wondering just what they sought to accomplish on someone else's mina and reputation.

“SONS OF PETRA!” Renilde chanted along with her men, fist thrust high in the air as she stood beside Lambert, the marshal who led them. @Ark
-
"Powerful," smirked the archduchess of the commonwealth.
-
Renilde smiles the Sun’s Smile, preparing for several good years of peace and happiness in the human realms.
-
"Finally," said the archduchess in an advanced state of pregnancy. Her ankles were swollen. Her strawberry-blonde hair had gray streaks in it and she was barely even twenty. Standing over Louis's desk in his new office, she unloaded document... upon document... upon document. "This is your responsibility now, dear Louis. Do Petra proud." Clapping him on the shoulder then, she'd exit the office without offering him the chance to respond, wiggling her fingers in a wave amidst her hasty departure.

“For an omelet to be made, one must crack some eggs,” uttered the Commonwealth’s archduchess, who sat in the event hall preparing to announce her nation’s next steps.

A FINAL OFFER The situation in the Heartlands remains unresolved, and the table of negotiations has thus far failed to settle upon borders and meaningful peace for the peoples that occupy these lands. While the Acreans have been relocated to other lands, the issue of the removal causes the border shared between the Commonwealth of the Petra and the United Kingdom of Aaun to remain a source of much contention and tension. The King of Aaun, and his Kingdom, shall not be displaced. However as it currently stands, the issue of land and the border tensions between the states of the Heartlands, will without doubt cause war in the future if it is not amended. Therefore, it is the wish of the Congress of Atrus to create a status quo, upon which a lasting peace can be built, so that our sons and their sons must not be forced to draw blades upon one another. Throughout the passing years, the Baron of Cherskavy and his Levy has created much issue amongst the nations of the world, frequently attending to recruitment and violence within the lands of both Haense and Petra, yet the Alstion King has made no attempt to control this feral vassal of his, nor have they received justice for their actions. The King of Aaun must either hold his vassals accountable for their actions, or be held accountable himself. War is not our ambition, we have made numerous attempts at peace. Let it be known that this is a declaration of WAR, but it is also an ultimatum for peace. We all are Canonists, and have no wish to kill one another, but a lasting position must be formed until whatever God forsaken creature arises from the deep and takes these lands. We go to war, but we urge you, Charles Alstion, seek peace as we have done. Do not listen to stubborn councilors or malignant frothing men to fight battles. The following list of grievances lay at the heart of the ongoing tension and conflict between the shared nations of the Congress of Atrus and the Kingdom of Aaun; I. When the Kingdom of Haense and its allies sought to facilitate the peaceful cessation of our Acrean allies from a realm they no longer wished to be part of, our efforts were scorned, and yet we stayed our promised intervention to assist Acre. II. When a man of Cherskavy tried to spill the blood of a Haeseni Knight and fled justice, our court was mocked when a dunce was sent to take the blame for this farce. III. When we sought to leave the title of Adria to rest, not only did a lord of Aaun seek to game the Dumapalooza to secure the title for his home, but our wishes to forego the election and leave the title and all its consequent posturing and politics to rest, were rejected. IV. You have actively attempted to sow continual dissent between King John of Balian and the Crown Prince Alexandros, in an attempt to alienate a father from his son. V. While the Sons of Petra were constructing defenses and a new bridge, King Charles of Aaun, accompanied by five armored men on horseback, crossed over Petra’s border and proceeded to insult the men for their heritage and their work. They then charged into the square of Valfleur on horseback, intimidating the local citizenry and disturbing the peace before leaving. VI. Aaunite soldiers patrolling and harassing the citizenry of the Commonwealth of Petra on a regular basis and furthermore disturbing the peace between the two Heartlander nations in which the threat of war between the two now in the future may come to pass. VII. In addition to the matter regarding the Duchy of Adria, you have also falsely laid claim to the Duchy of Balamena, a title belonging to Thomas Balamena, and have further anointed a second born as the Viscount of Azor in a slight against the legitimate Countess of Azor, consistently slandering and sullying her honor throughout in a most unjust and despicable manner. VIII. Despite claiming that they wish for peace, several reports have been uncovered that the Aaunite military has openly been planning a future invasion of Petra. These schemes do not reflect your frequent outward cries for a peaceful future. Wargoal: Conquest of Tile 94 Attackers: The Commonwealth of Petra and allies Defenders: Kingdom of Aaun and allies Proposed Date: 13/11/2022 Warpath: His Royal Majesty KARL III by the Grace of Godan, King of Hanseti and Ruska, Grand Hetman of the Army, Prince of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duke of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margrave of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Count of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscount of Varna, Baron of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant and Astfield, Lord of the Westfolk, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera.
