~The Vojak Company~
The Vojak Company had its beginnings in the Fringe, under the leadership of Constantine Dystov as a fighting band during the Fringe Wars. They rose from a poorly armed and un-trained militia to an effective, fully armored, combat force within only a few months. Their numbers having steadily risen they were rewarded with their own street near the walls of Vekaro for their services in the the wars. They were tasked with manning the gates and safe guarding the entrances into Vekaro, buying time for the full army to raise and push back the invading Zionist forces whenever they were to attack. Eventually they were awarded land south of Vekaro, by the main road and river, as a reward for their services. They prospered there building up resources and selling food to the populace to make sure the city was fed. The company fell into disrepair when the Dystov family went out on a expedition to find new lands, leaving only a handful of Vojaks in Vekaro.
The Dystov family returned to find the company garrison a skeleton crew, armed with badly abused armor, if anything at all. Constantine set about rebuilding retraining the remaining men into an elite group of soldiers. When the Fringe began to fall apart, the Vojaks followed the Dystov family into Thales, disembarking from the great ships fanning out, looking for a place to settle. Finding nowhere to land a claim, the Vojak order was disbanded, and only a few stayed with the Dystovs as bodyguards. When Athera was discovered the family and its escort joined the giant fleet, sailing across the ocean joining the Orenians in Petrus. Making money from odd jobs, they managed to repair most of their equipment and buy a house, turning it into a makeshift barracks. The thirst for adventure eventually got to the band of men, and many went out seeking seeking lands incase Athera was to fall.
The Dystovs were the only ones to return. All of the old Vojak band men had perished on their journies journeys, lost in combat or to the roiling seas. Arriving during the Schism war, they quickly went to work in Karoviawith their old comrades from Vekaro, Constantine went to work building homes, and John made armor for the troops. All the while they were designing tabards and organizing to revive the Vojaks. Their plans were cut short at the end of the war, when they had to head north into the wilds on a journey. Returning just after the Akovians reclaimed the Petrusian capital they joined the High Pontiff Daniel I in Visigia, becoming Palatine men, where they began making friends with the local populace.
In a few months’ time, the Dystovs acquired the Castle of Mistmont from Daniel I and later a barony in Owynswood from Viktor de Montfort, effectively becoming the House de Montfort’s vassals. With the new land, their levy quickly began regrowing and their dominion spread quickly. They have decided to revive the Vojak Company once more. After inducting the existing Dystov levy into the ranks of the company and constructing a new keep and town in Owynswood, the House Dystov now seeks more men to join them in the halls of The Castle Vidistan.

Weaponry and Equipment
Longsword - The main weapon of the Vojaks. All standard Vojak soldiers are given one, forged by the company’s smith. It is often 30-40 inches long, and is a standard blade used in combat very often.
Bastard Sword- The secondary weapon of the Vojaks. It is lighter, and faster, than a longsword, but just as deadly, and can be dual wielded along with a Buckler.
Morningstar- A heavy weapon often used against heavily armoured targets. It has a reach of about 25-40 inches, and is able to inflict massive damage in the hands of an expert.
Buckler - A very common shield in the Vojak forces. It is a rounded shield with a wooden centre and the outer edge is lined with ferrum, adding additional structure and durability.. The inside of the buckler is coated in a thin layer of ferrum, adding even more protection for the wielder. It is often used with polearms, such as spears and pikes, as well as with one handed swords, longswords, and bastard swords.
