  1. I think my town pillar is glitching out. Every time someone on the pillar logs out, it says they're no longer active. I went from 5 active last night to one active this morning. In order to be active, the person has to be online on that persona forever and can't log off :/

  14. ((I'm going to try and pick up where buff left off. The bulk of this was written by him.)) A History of the Mali'fenn -Anthos- -Grand Prince Tundrak I ascends to the throne as the first Grand Prince of the Mali'fenn, forming the Princedom of Fenn. Through this action, House Tundrak is made the Royal House. Houses Drakon, Atmorice, and Fenn'Asul are named as Noble Houses. The Princedom takes up solitary residence in the mountains of southern Anthos. -Many years pass before Grand Prince Tundrak I falls ill and passes away. He leaves behind a daughter, Amnestria, and five sons, Thar, Eregurn, Sparticus, Hithaerbin, and Solies. Hithaerbin and Solies, stricken with grief for their lost father, set out into the snows and never return. -Sparticus, having been chosen by his father, is crowned Grand Prince Tundrak II. He promises to lead the Mali'fenn into a new era and end their isolation from the other races. -The Snow Elves emerge from the southern mountains and trek north, seeking to make contact with the other races. They come upon Kal'Ithrun first, where Grand King Indago Stormhammer reigns. -A deal is struck between the Snow Elves and Dwarves. The Princedom was granted ample land in the snowy forests south of Kal'Ithrun in return for vassalization. Grand Prince Tundrak II swears his loyalty to the Grand King, and the Snow Elves set out for their new land. -Grand Prince Tundrak II founds the town of Frostfall, serving as the new home of the Snow Elves. The Ivae'Fenn is also formed, and Sparticus names his brother Eregurn as its commander. -Construction of Frostfall is complete, but the peace is short-lasted. The Holy Kingdom of Oren and Grand Kingdom of Urguan clash in a mighty war. The Ivae'Fenn are marched north, where they fight day after day alongside the Dwarven Legion in the trenches of Kal'Ithrun. In the first day alone, the Ivae'Fenn manage to slay a Prince of Malinor and a Carrion Prince. -War continues to rage, until finally the Holy Kingdom of Oren mounts for a massive attack on the Dwarven fortress of Indagolaf. The fortress is defended by a coalition force of the Dwarven Legion, Snow Elven Ivae'Fenn, and Adunians. Oren's attacks are repulsed, and the siege comes to an end. -The Order of New Dawn swears vassalage to the Princedom of Fenn. Several months later, however, the Order sides with Oren in warfare. The Ivae'Fenn march upon the Order's lands, and combat ensues. The Order's soldiers are quickly cut down in what can only be described as a slaughter. What is left of the guild retreats north, yet the damage has been done, and the Order of New Dawn soon after disintegrates. -The Grand Kingdom of Urguan and Holy Kingdom of Oren manage to sign a peace treaty, ultimately ending that war. -Within Frostfall, dissension begins to grow. Eregurn Tundrak and the Grand Prince grow further apart, and it is soon discovered Eregurn would attempt a coup. House Drakon feigned allegiance to Eregurn's cause, but when the coup was executed, the bannermen of House Drakon immediately turned on the rebels. The conflict was over in minutes. Eregurn is stripped of his post as commander. -The combined forces of the Dwarven Legion and Snow Elven Ivae'Fenn march through the deeproads in order to retake the Dwarven city of Kal'Azgoth from Ondnarch and his minions. A massive battle ensues in the deeproads as Ondnarch's forces are forced back. Within Kal'Azgoth, the bloodshed continues, until Igor Ireheart slays Ondnarch in single combat. Wyrvun is purified through this act, rising once again to the skies, but not before blessing the Snow Elven and Dwarven soldiers. -A mysterious tower of the Scourge appears within the Princedom on the outskirts of Frostfall. The Scourge had managed to penetrate the northern defenses of the descendant races and create a southern front. Immediately, the Ivae'Fenn began bombardment of nearby bloodshards with trebuchets and ballistae, detonating a number of them. Corruption began to spread throughout Frostfall. -A combined coalition of the Princedom of Fenn, Grand Kingdom of Urguan, Holy Kingdom of Oren, and Rexdom of Krugmar march on the dark spire on the outskirts of Frostfall. A massive battle ensues, resulting in a victory for the Black Scourge. Frostfall is corrupted and laid waste. The Snow Elves, with Setherien on their northern doorstep and barren land inhabited by cultists to their south, are surrounded. They found the massive underground fortress city of Khazad'Karrzark beneath Frostfall, and close the gates. The Siege of Khazad'Karrzark begins. -Food runs low in Khazad'Karrzark as the Ivae'Fenn desperately hold the gatehouse against repeated attacks. Eregurn Tundrak finds his faith, and becomes the first High Prophet of Wyrvun. -A group of Ivae'Fenn, the Grand Prince among them, silently slip through the siege lines during the night, and ascend to the top of the Dark Spire. There, they enter a portal, and find themselves in the lair of Setherien himself, deep in the North. Combat ensues, and the Snow Elven soldiers manage to slay two Harbingers before encountering Setherien himself. The Grand Prince enters single combat with Setherien and looses an arrow at the Black Wyrm's face, managing to chip one of its teeth. The soldiers put up a valiant stand against Setherien, but are ultimately forced back into the portal with heavy losses. It remains the first time and one of the only times Setherien is injured by mortals. -The Siege of Khazard'Karrzark is broken as Setherien's forces march north once more in order to combat the other nations. -The Fringe- -The Realm known as the Fringe is discovered, and the Snow Elves set out through the portal and settle there. They found the city of Lindale. -A final battle ensues in the Realm of Anthos as the mortal races struggle to defend the Old Cloud Temple, but ultimately are forced back into the portal by floodwaters. Anthos is destroyed. -A Snow Elf known as Aglarond is named Lord Commander of the Ivae'Fenn. -Through the Treaty of Lindale, Grand King Wulfgar Grandaxe grants the Princedom of Fenn its independence, though an alliance is made between the two nations. -The Battle of the Red Realm occurs, and the Princedom marches its forces alongside those of the Grand Kingdom in the conflict. After months of battle, Setherien himself is finally slain, and the great conflict comes to an end. -Conflicts simmer between the Princedom of Fenn and Kingdom of Alras after a group of rogue Alrasian soldiers assault the Grand Prince. Peace is soon orchestrated by the Grand Kingdom, though. -Houses Drakon and Atmorice leave the Princedom of Fenn, setting up the Palatinate of Fenn. Brief combat ensues between the two Snow Elven nations before the Palatinate of Fenn is disbanded and the Princedom of Fenn is fully reunited once more. -House Atmorice is stripped of its noble status after they all disappear, and the line of House Atmorice is believed to have come to an end. House Fenn'Asul is also stripped of its noble status for the same reason. -Verbal hostilities ensue outside the Dwarven city of Kal'Arkon as Emperor Peter Chivay accuses Grand Prince Tundrak II of raiding the city of Kaldonia. The hostilities escape into full-scale war when the Emperor declares war on the Princedom, and the Crimson-Silver Alliance of Haelun'or and the Empire of Oren rally their forces. The Grand Kingdom of Urguan breaks its alliance with the Princedom so that it is not drawn into the conflict. -The Ivae'Fenn find themselves out-supplied and very heavily out-numbered. Nonetheless, they put up a valiant fight, holding their own against Orenian raiding forces. By this point, the Princedom is slightly winning the war, however the Empire of Oren is not even committing itself to the combat yet. -Finally, the entire Imperial Army marches north and lays siege to Lindale. Snow Elven forces are out-numbered roughly 10:1, as a force of 20,000 Snow Elves, Orcs, and Sand Elves face off against 200,000 Imperial soldiers. -The battle is over quickly. Imperial forces breach the walls, slaughter the defenders, and sack the city. Every building is razed to the ground, and women and children are slaughtered in the streets. It becomes known as the Sack of Lindale, and later, the First Snow Elven Genocide. -Lord Commander Aglarond disappears in the fighting, and Prince Thar is killed in the combat. -The Empire of Oren then declares war on the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, and they commit their forces to that front. -Lindale is rebuilt, and stronger this time thanks to such architects as Ninde Luinwe. A more unified Snow Elven nation rises from the ashes. -The Krughanistan Bloc is created, consisting of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, Kingdom of Alras, Sovereign of Hanseti, Rexdom of Krugmar, and Princedom of Fenn. The five nations of the coalition enter war with the Crimson-Silver Alliance. -Bitter fighting breaks out at the Mouth of Dungrimm, a massive Dwarven wall. Haelun'or and Vekaro are subject to daily raids by the coalition forces. -A High Elven deserter from Haelun'or named Kael'Daenor leads a force of other defectors to the Princedom of Fenn, where they join the Snow Elves. Kael'Daenor soon rises to the rank of Lord Commander of the Ivae'Fenn. -The Princedom commits the entire Ivae'Fenn to the war, numbering 15,000 men at its strongest. The war begins to tilt in the Bloc's favor. -House Sarino, a human house, is granted nobility in the Princedom in exchange for vassalage. The town of Barrowhaven is annexed and placed beneath their rule. -The Ivae'Fenn are disbanded and the Faersu'sil take their place, creating the only other cavalry force in the Fringe, the other being that of the Empire of Oren. -Peace is made between the Crimson-Silver Alliance and the Krughanistan Bloc. -Bastion Ireheart arrives in Lindale, warning the Grand Prince of treachery. He tells of seeing Kael'Daenor and Kalenz Uradir, leader of Haelun'or, rallying the forces of Haelun'or and preparing to march on Lindale in order to arrest and depose of Grand Prince Tundrak II. The Ivae'Fenn is immediately rallied, and soon enough, the soldiers of Haelun'or arrive outside the gates, demanding the head of the Grand Prince. A traitor within the Faersu'sil lets them in, causing the loyal forces to retreat back into the inner city. The Dwarven Legion arrives along with Orcish soldiers, and the Ivae'Fenn rush out of the inner city. Combat ensues, and the Empire of Oren's forces join the fray. The Bloc forces are pushed back to Castle Blackfrost, where they hold off the attacks and push the Orenian and Haelun'orian forces back. -Kael'Daenor disappears, and his son Gabriel Daenor is granted authority over a Snow Elven district in Haelun'or, splintering the Mali'fenn. Gabriel claims himself to be a Snow Elf and takes up the title of Laurir'Fenn. War between the Krughanistan Bloc and the Crimson-Silver Alliance continues, the Princedom's forces greatly weakened, and Snow Elves now fighting for both sides. -High Prophet Eregurn Tundrak disappears. -House Drakon, originally having sided with the Daenors, realize the error of their ways and switch back to the Princedom, where they are forgiven. -The Ivae'Fenn is reformed and Arayon Drakon is named as their Lord Commander. -After years of conflict, Gabriel Daenor and Grand Prince Tundrak attempt to resolve the split, and peace talks begin in secret between the Princedom of Fenn and Snow Elven District of Haelun'or. The peace talks, however, prove a failure, and a vote is attempted. Irelia Fenn'Asul, last of the line of House Fenn'Asul, attempts to gain power but fails, and ultimately disappears along with the rest of House Fenn'Asul after she is exiled by both the Princedom and District. Their line is believed to have ended. -The numbers of the District grow until the Princedom is disbanded, and Grand Prince Tundrak II, also known as Sparticus Tundrak, disappears. Gabriel Daenor's rule is complete. -Thales- -The Realm of the Fringe is left behind by the mortal races, who discover Thales. The Snow Elven District of Haelun'or settles outside Haelun'or in order to repulse Orcish raids from Haelun'or's borders. -Gabriel Daenor grows increasing tyrannical in his methods of ruling according to his people, prompting House Drakon to rebel. The rebels set up camp near the Dwarven city. -Gabriel Daenor leads the Snow Elves in banditing, hitting nations such as the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Many Snow Elves oppose conflict against their ancient allies. -The Treaty of Thales is signed, and Haelun'or and Oren betray the Snow Elven District and Gabriel Daenor. Haelun'or, Oren, and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan commence the Second Snow Elven Genocide. The Mali'fenn who are escaped are forced into hiding. -Claudia Daenor rejects her family, and she and Arayon Drakon construct a camp deep in Thales where most Mali'fenn hide. -The Snow Elven people become enraged with Gabriel Daenor, as it was him who betrayed the Bloc and allied himselves with such treacherous nations as Haelun'or and Oren. The Usurper is overthrown, and Grand Prince Tundrak II once again reigns, House Tundrak taking up its old position as the royal house. This time, he reigns over a scattered and decimated Snow Elven populace. He vows resistance against the genocide. The Daenors (minus Claudia Daenor) are eternally banished from the newly refounded Princedom, and are labeled as kill-on-sight. Despite the ravages of the genocide, for the first time in many years, the Snow Elven people stand united and determined. -Athera- -The Snow Elves construct the warship RMS Wyrvun's Wrath and sail to Tuv Aviv, joining up with the rest of the fleet. The RMS Wyrvun's Wrath is the most heavily armed ship, with 8 ballistae aboard. As they begin to sail away, the ship is boarded by creatures from Gazadriel's army. The crew of the ship manage to fight them off, until a great and powerful creature appears on the deck. After a violent fight the beast is slain, and emergency repairs are made on the ship as they sail away. -The RMS Wyrvun's Wrath arrives in Athera, and the Snow Elves search the lands for a suitable home. -Conflicts arise against the Lordship of Adunia, Clan Orvar, and Sovereign of Hanseti over land. In the end, the Snow Elves settle in Fort Frostleaf, where they refound the Princedom of Fenn. -The Lordship of Adunia captures a Snow Elven settlement, infuriating the Snow Elves. The Ivae'Fenn set out and ambush the settlement from all directions. Adunian forces are absolutely slaughtered. The Lordship of Adunia never recovers from the attack, disintegrating soon afterwards. -The nation of Valeria is founded to the north-east, comprising of multiple settlements, its capitol being Illicia. Immediately the Snow Elves and Valerians clash. Though outnumbered, the Snow Elves successfully hold off the Valerian forces until a coup takes place in Valeria and peace is made. -Sylen Drayzont II is appointed Lord Commander of the Ivae'Fenn. -Fort Frostleaf is torn down and in its place, Castle Winterhaven is constructed. -A coup takes place in the Empire of Oren, putting House Carrion on the throne. The Princedom and new regime declare peace, ending hostilities with the Empire of Oren. -Prince Solies Tundrak returns and becomes the new High Priest of the Temple of Wyrvun. -10,000 Ivae'Fenn march to the Haelun'or crossroads, slaughtering over 20,000 Haelun'orians. The Ivae'Fenn then march to Aesterwald, where they butcher Chivay-loyalists in the streets. The Chivay-loyalist forces charge out from their keep, only to be scattered and sent running for their lives. The Ivae'Fenn then march back to Castle Winterhaven. -The Jarldom of Tanem is created east of Castle Winterhaven, becoming the seat of House Drakon. Between the two, the Jarldom of Shift rises, serving as the seat of the newly-noble House Grayhammer. Hostilities continue against Haelun'or. -Tensions rise against the Duchy of Polaris (Valeria renamed). The Duke demands tribute from the Princedom and is denied. Soldiers from the Duchy attempt to kill the Grand Prince but fail. -The Haelun'orian army is defeated several times in a row by the Snow Elven Ivae'Fenn. -The Princedom of Fenn allies itself with the rebelling clans of Azog and Dom. Joined by the Grand Kingdom, the combined force goes to war against the War Uzg. -The first skirmish takes place between rebel and War Uzg forces, resulting in a decisive rebel victory. -The Jarldom of Shift is abandoned and House Grayhammer disappears, resulting in their removal from nobility. -Grand Prince Tundrak II enters a mysterious trance, going unconscious. Until such a time as he rises once more, his body is placed in a tomb below Castle Winterhaven. Lord Chancellor Zane Drakon shall rule the Princedom alongside the Grand Council until the Grand Prince returns. -Grand Prince Tundrak II dies. His son, Grand Prince Aelthir Tundrak, ascends to the throne. A hereditary noble triarchy is formed, with Zane Drakon being named Prince of State and Serelia Tundrak-Atmorice being named Prince of Culture. -The Ivae'Fenn, alongside the Wood Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs, capture the High Elven city and destroy Haelun'or. 16. The Ivae'Fenn -Overview- Long have the Ivae'Fenn stood guard over the Snow Elven people. They have served, for many ages, as the military of the Princedom of Fenn. From the Siege of Fort Indagolaf, to the Sack of Lindale, and to the Second Snow Elven genocide, the Ivae'Fenn have given their lives and fought valiantly for the Princedom. Now that the Princedom has settled in Athera, the Ivae'Fenn have been raised once more to defend the Princedom from the constant and merciless onslaught known as the Second Snow Elven Genocide. -Ranks- Lord Commander The Lord Commander holds a position within the Grand Council and leads the Ivae'Fenn. It's his duty to oversee all defenses of the Princedom, maintain internal functions within the Ivae'Fenn, and do all else required in order to benefit the realm. Warden The Wardens hold equivalent rank to sergeants. There are several of them, and it's their responsibility to train the soldiers and lead them into battle as well. Warden's must have superb leadership skills and vast experience in combat. Guardian Guardians are the average soldiers of the Ivae'Fenn. They fight in tight units during battles, guard the Princedom, and do all else the Lord Commander and Wardens require of them. While they are able to lead Initiates, it's rare they are put in positions of leadership. Initiate Initiates are citizens who have just joined the Ivae'Fenn. During this stage, they are trained in commands, weaponry, and other concepts that will be vital for their success. Until such a time as they are ready, they perform menial labor within the ranks of the Ivae'Fenn, though they shall still fight in battles. Special Combatant Special Combatants are those who are within the government of the Princedom yet are still willing to fight. In the chain of command, all of them except the Grand Prince is equivalent to a Guardian. The Grand Prince operates alongside the Lord Commander, able to take his place if he is slain, and giving advice. -Joining- Application Ooc Username: Activity Rating (1-10): Skype: RP Name: Race/Sub-race/Culture: Do you live in the Princedom?: Do you swear obedience to the Princedom of Fenn and the Grand Prince?: [[Credit to buff for writing this]]
