      ~Personal Opinion Time~

I don't have a problem with PVPers on the server who ONLY fight people who a) are also PvPers, or b) instigate them by killing them or raiding them. My case in point is Dunamis. I (most generally) don't have to worry about seeing a Dunamite on the road and getting bandited, killed, etc. They leave rpers alone.

What I DO have a problem with is the small bandit groups who hunt down people on the roads, regardless of who they are, for their pixels and automatically PVP default them when they fight back. That's not fun.

If you're going to be a PvPer, either become a soldier for a nation, or be like Dunamis and only fight those who pick a fight. Leave the roleplayers alone. Most of the time they don't even have stuff worth taking.

Gotta agree with Shannon on this one. PvPers tend to either become a large raid group that goes for nations and, alas, tends to clash with other PvPers. I try not to judge people, and not bring up the whole "lol ur pvping but this is rp server" thing, but when they do try to chase down people who roleplay because they might just have that one awesome lore item and they can sell it for more gear; it annoys me.

The problem comes when RPers try to raid. It usually happens like this: person A, a dedicated roleplayer, waits on the road. Person B, a person that prefers PvP, walks down said road. Person A attacks, equipped with a random and simple weapon they bought off of some shop; person B proceeds to PvP, whips out their god-tier diamond gear and kicks behinds. This is how banditry RP dies out. And so a problem comes up, because we want to RP, go to what's likely to be the only  serious and dedicated roleplay server in this large, wide world; and we're forced to PvP upon becoming the attackers. This is where I find a problem to arise, and this is one of the few, very particular reasons I despise PvP instead of merely ignoring it. (Of course, this doesn't always happen.)
