  1. We had one, which was then given to Lilach, Ducky’s Mage to be used in the event. This was stated. Neither I nor the Druid playerbase are responsible for Aesopian’s calamitous butchering of Druid lore to justify his mmo-style boss battle. Wasn’t there, can’t speak to it I’m afraid. To my knowledge only a few Druids were active throughout most of the Vaeyl eventline, primarily being Hareven, Quillian and another I don’t wanna name in case they’re meta’d, because they lived close to the wall. The Order played no part in it by and large, in fact my only interaction with the Vaeyl was two of them riding into the Mother Grove on polar bears and the latter two Druids trying to convince me the Vaeyl were evil and benign respectively. If you wanna talk the Dominion’s involvement then @ Dominion leadership, but don’t lump Druids in with them.
  2. You mean manastones? Paladins took one, an Irrinite took another and a Mage took a third. The Irrinite gave my character her stone, because she couldn’t make the event it would be used for.
  3. No one gave us anything, we opted to be active in those eventlines, because they were pertinent to our characters. No one was excluded from the Voidal events, my character actively tried to rally as much of Arcas as she could to combat the Void. We had Halflings, Orcs, Haensemen, Qualasheen, a few Fenn and Dwarves there, and Mystery’s event antagonists appeared in Haense, Curon and Brandybrook outside of Tears, and another Tear opened up near Haelun’or. By no means was it exclusive and I don’t like the insinuation that Druids were spoonfed events, when not only did I personally try to encourage people of various nations/playerbases to get involved, we had also been involved in the event from the start.

I’d like the opportunity for her to retrace her steps of old paths and explore what became of the continent after the departure of the Descendants, particularly Druidic and Wood Elf landmarks. What Skills Can You Bring?: Elven literacy, knowledge of pre-exodus terrain, some Atheran history, healing arts, leg

  7. Why is its name “Athri'div-ciw”? I can only imaging it’s meant to mean “Sleepless Serpent,” but the grammar is incorrect. Why would a deity be named in Elven? Like I don’t want to **** on your lore, but all deities offer boons or pacts in exchange for service, that’s what deity connections are really.
  8. Why though? These are mutually exclusive. Cold-forging requires the use of mills to shape metal with high pressure.
  9. Any mundane steel longsword weighs less than 5lbs, like they were developed to have that reach whilst still being light. Just a nitpick. Druidic Blight Healing cannot target Descendants, it can only purge corruption of the land or animals, I’m afraid. Otherwise, looks neat. +1

    Mines

How quickly does the test mine refill? I’ve turned up to mine and it’s been totally dug out underneath for diamonds. I’ve found some odd bits of gold and iron, but otherwise all that’s left is coal and lapis. Has to be said that CT mines always look rough as ****, and nation mines tend to be less intensively mined(from my experience in Urguan and Druids), so potentially this could work going forward. Edit: Returning from my trip, it’s occurred to me- In Urguan we have a miner’s guild. You pay for a permit to mine, you meet a quota and you keep whatever else you dig up beyond that quota. In this instance, who pays to refill the mine were this system implemented? Do I have to alert an RO to have the mine refilled? Or can anyone do it?
  11. How do you feel about 1.14 on LOTC? The new blocks like grindstones and lecterns really enrich set-building for cities and smaller builds like homes etc. Lanterns are also lovely, really enjoying redecorating with them, like suspending them from iron bars from the ceiling. Some lovely stuff in 1.14 Do you think 1.14 has benefits on the server? If so, what? See above Do you think 1.14 has brought problems to the server? If so, what? I think we could have waited another 6 months to a year for an update of the server’s minecraft version, if it meant having a much more stable experience. I’ve heard that “the devs are fixing the issues” from some staff, and from other sources I’ve heard that this is a fundamental issue with 1.14 as being horrifically optimised for servers. Why someone made decision to update to 1.14 is therefore beyond me, like I legitimately don’t know what they were thinking. If there is an issue with this, how do you think it could be solved? In future we should avoid chasing after minecraft updates because using 1.13 potentially makes the server look “old and oudated” or whatever concerns were supposedly being addressed by updating. As it stands right now, yes we’re in 1.14 and it makes the server look maintained to new players, but when a new player gets onto the server it’s not a welcoming experience to have to stand on the road waiting for chunks to load. Like it’s an actual ******* joke. And finally, if you have any extra input then you may put it here! Stop doing **** to “look busy,” and just do what needs to be done
  12. Man, it’s almost like these could be resolved through decent training and some experience.
  13. I like it. Given bones take anywhere form about five to eight weeks to heal anyway, this tonic only realistically shaves off a few ooc hours, so I think it’s fairly balanced in that regard. As someone who is often involved in medical RP, I welcome more medicines and such to combat ailments of all kinds.
  14. Is this meant to refer to one inch or one foot of metal? I also understand the purpose of LW in how it relates to Haelun’orian culture, but reasonably it would eat through different substances at different rates, correct?
  15. That’s dumb. All lore should enrich the server’s narrative, and magic should offer something enjoyable to the people who don’t possess it in terms of a good RP experience. Writing your lore for a clique seems ******* sad frankly. edit: I agree with this, however.
  16. Agreed. Players who abuse their magic, whether powergaming or blackmail, or ooc harassment, should be punished and blacklisted. The magic and the rest of its userbase are not to blame.
  17. I believe the issues which led to this policy from the ST was the inability for players to deal with the holy/dark dynamic only in RP. That it seeped with toxicity and holy players would metagame or even oocly harass dark users or creatures, in order to ‘get them’ and vice versa. Anyone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. If players can keep the conflict purely iRP and create an interesting narrative together, then that’s good. There’s room for nuance in a dark/light dynamic too.
