Ser Petyor Vance,.1627.
It had come to the attention of the Royal Court that a band of cutthroats had decided to make camp within the dark forest of the Rothswood, threatening the good people of Alban with raids, murder and pillaging. In response to the reports, a detachment of Royal soldiers under the command of Ser Petyor the Huntsman were sent into the forest to track and slaughter the gathering of highwaymen before they could bring about any further harm to the Northern Kingdom.
Meeting the cutthroats beneath the pines in an ambush, the Haeseni warriors were bombarded with volleys of arrows and the jagged blades of their motley foes, meeting the outlaws with steel. Pressing on, the Northern forces overcame the ambush, the newly blooded Balen Ryder and Talion Wulff cutting down all highwaymen within their path, sending the remaining bandits into a swift retreat back into the dark confines of the Rothswood.
The Royal Army returned to the Capital of Alban that same day, their blades stained with the blood of the dishonourable, and their hearts filled with a determination to remove any further threat of outlaws from their homeland.
In the name of His Majesty, King Otto II of Hanseti-Ruska
