  1. A nimble hand came to rest upon the ivory banister of the heavens, leveraging her frame in a steady stance. Adela Taronitissa peered down from above should the great skies allow it, watching her daughter afar. Similarly in their genteel nature, though different in spirit. "Such greatness." She'd softly utter, verily eager to one day reunite with her beloved youth.
  2. Only briefly did that bronze-colored woman bid the time to read the top portion of that letter, taking her time due to the misfortune of her poor reading skills. However, at some point she stopped, and swiftly penned a letter back. "To Vykk, who wrote this. I do not know what is happening. I did not read your letter it was too long. But I saw you called my broedrs dogs. I ask you kindly, do not come to Solgaard or Norland again. I will kill you. - Ljúfvina."
  3. Finnigan moment. I’ll be joining u in old age this April
  4. Ljúfvina hunted down Jay Amaranth. “You should go. You are chronically single.” She said. @Ninjay
  5. Ljúfvina splayed back in a grassy bank, wheezing. “BROEDR, BROEDR. I QUIT ON THE TREES. I AM SORRY BROEDR.” The Norn-woman gave up, staring at Tancred miserably. @ImmortalShadowZ
  6. Somewhere within the countryside a woman of lithe stature tended to her ailing parentage, tenderly lifting a wooden bowl to his lips. “Rest, father. You are hardly well to refuse it so, ay?” Her hands lowered that stew, granting him momentary peace. “Let us pass the time with a tale. One of a man I met in the great White City.” ”Of the genteel Dreng Dragomir.” @Nectorist
  7. Susie “Bow-down” Sadieson tilted her cowboy hat, eyes staring through from behind a metallic visor. “Never can get yer jobs done, ey? Reckon it’s time I show ‘em how a missus does it.” Susie “Bow-down” Sadieson tilted her cowboy hat, eyes staring through from behind a metallic visor. “Never can get yer jobs done, ey? 8. Into the winter winds spoke a voice, mellow in contrast to its typical intensity. “We are the same,” Ljúfvina recalled that glee, that comfort in connecting with others, upon escaping her hellscape. A man whom she thought similar. “We are angry.” But for what? Alas, there was no point in finding out. Gently a smile braced her lips, and she would tend to her donkeys.
  9. Dark flames consumed the imagery before Katrin as she crossed into the seven skies, and before her stood Elia Eryka with a centuries worth of kegs. Full of goat milk. “Hej-.. it is time.” Dark flames consumed the imagery before Katrin as she crossed into the seven skies, and before her stood Elia Eryka with a centuries worth of kegs. 11. I like the overall concept of lightstones returning, however I do have some notes I'd like to make. I feel as if the categorization of lightstones can be far more interesting if you lock in on the concept of them being found in highly concentrated areas of an AengulDaemon's influence. Treating lightstone more akin to a rarity item opposed to how back during Paladinism it was used as the main component of the forging. What I mean by this is almost like ST operated nodes, that players can come across to acquire stones that they can use to fuel their enchantments into an item for perhaps an extended round or two of said ability, cut emote rounds for preparation, or whatever you deem as fitting. Or of course the obvious to be used in MARts. I think lightstones coming from the essence of these deities opposed to having players of certain magics having an impact or almost 'fueling' into said stones would be more of an interesting basis for said lore. It would explain as to why lightstones in the past hadn't changed colors determining on which magic-users grabbed ahold of it, but rather just coming from these sources (chanceries) where Xan's influence was the most. It would be a very smooth narrative transition for lightstone post-Apotheosis seeing as there's more interaction from other deities now. Beyond that, I am happy to see lightstone getting a newfound purpose after Xan's death. Wishing you the best of luck on your lore submission, wowj.
  12. Ljúfvina unironically thought Tomas was the coolest Hyspian she ever met. Should she ever discover this information, she will be very upset.
  13. Susie "Bow-down" Sadieson twirls a newly stolen pink dagger in their hand, helmet falling to a tilt as their cowboy had glistened in the sky. "Saffron Lure?" She'd muse, unsure about this moniker, but satisfied none the less. "If ye wear a helmet, Mitch. They can't **** up yer nose in the posters."
  14. Somewhere within that idyllic solace of a possible afterlife - or perhaps manifested one - stood a Scyfling woman. Her lips strewn with a warm smile upon the arrival of that now deceased O'Rourke. "Hej, little goat." Elia Eryka greeted, palm extending outward. A spitting image of her father in life, though less battered with scars, and far less burly. "Wisdom tells me, you are much like your fadir, ja? Bold in temper. Come, we shall walk and talk, until your fadir and modir joins us." Idly did her gaze drift to that vast unyielding horizon, as if she could spot her son below, no doubt now in mourning. "Do you like goat milk?"

  16. Somewhere, a woman laden with hair once aged prematurely for her youth now caught up with her. That fallen Dame gripped onto the corners of parchment, strewn with words that caused her to boil with a mixture of conflicting emotions. The desire to speak into air disdain in retort gnawed at her: you had the love of my family, that I could never obtain. The love of the people, the love of Mahaut and Adelina, love of our children, love of me. I had nothing. Yet alas, she could offer nothing. The weight of his words strung in her perhaps new perspective, and greater guilt. She was no great woman and did not want to think herself a bad one. So, with a heavy exhale and glance skyward she frowned. Soon that frown grew into a grimace. Soon that grimace turned into pain. Soon that pain turned into sorrow. And with that sorrow came tears, with those tears came sobs, and with those sobs came truth. She missed Cardan. But a sacrifice had been made, and this was its consequence. "I'm sorry."
  17. Ljúfvina was greatly displeased that this Grendel decided to hunt during the official Solgaard nap-time. She frowned, for such creatures dare not lurk when actual threats were awake and about.
  18. _________ In the break of night, a silent figure trailed forth under that perpetual light winking above in the darkness's bleak ambience. Dame Yvaine donned a singular horse with what little luggage she had: her Dame armor, her few weapons, scarce personal belongings, and little rations. It was unfathomable, what she currently worked out to do, yet alas, it was the only thing she could think to do. As she ventured off and away from Aestmarch, she brought her sights across every field and vineyard her family worked hard to restore, pondering what it would look like in the future: perhaps she would see, though unlikely. A woman, abused by her father, and loved dearly by her mother, forged by a most typical tale of tragedy. Although her story was quiet and insignificant, she sought to end it in Haense, for it was time she carried on elsewhere, to find a new beginning or if fortunate a proper grave. Would they plant a tree for her? To create her a proper memorial? Or would they forget? It was a thought she forced herself to put aside. By the time the sun rose, sparkling above those grassy plains and stark blue ponds, that Dame was gone. _________ Junien: Brother, you abandoned me. You wretched being. I hope in the afterlife, I should be able to meet you there, so I might slaughter you once more, until your spirit no longer exists. I have not told my children of you, nor my husband. I hope you are forgotten. We were meant to become Ser and Dame together, yet you left, due to your foolish ambition and childish nature. I do not care if it is childish or petty. I will never forgive you. @nunlover Florian: My friend, I hope you are well, and cooking. Still, I fondly recall our time on the docks, where you spoke to me of a brittle reality and truth. I did not heed it fully, and for that I regret it. I feel unfulfilled, unloved, and a broken woman. I ponder often what life would have been should that young page fill her spirit with true passion, rather than remain true to her abilities. My children, their spirits, have shown me what could have been, rather than what has been. I confess fully, in our youth, I had an inkling of perhaps affection for you; but you did not capture my heart. For that said spark belongs to my husband. Live well, live fully, and remember your kin and friend at home. @_yink_ Sabine: A simple confession of observation, though nothing more beyond it. I have always thought you were beautiful. @critter Ross: You are stronger than I. I do not know what to say, because the truth is, I don't really know you. I am not deserving to be your Mother, and I am sorry you’ve been cursed with me as one. But one thing I have been able to do, is to watch you over the years. I have seen you grow, fight for your place, and navigate it without me. You have only continued to blossom and flourished since you were a babe. Although I have been blind, I do not need to see, to know that you are exceptional. I am proud of you. @ChillDemonLad Nikolaus: You will become a true Knight, unlike me. Where I have failed, you will pick up the mantle and remold it. You will become the true embodiment of a Knight from van Leuven, I know this much. Seek out Sigmar, to learn how to have the mind of a Knight; Seek out Joakim, to learn how to wield a weapon like a Knight; Seek out Ser Belisar to learn to have the courage of a Knight. You will do good my son. For you’ve the true passion for Knighthood. Do not fail as I had. @TaxesAreBad Willam: You will flourish, where your father and I did not. My firstborn, you have always had a special place in my heart. Even if you take more after your father, I see in you my ambition and stubbornness. Wield it good, do not let it negatively consume you. Willam, taken from the name Wilhelm. A man in Reinmar during my coming-of-age trials, who showed me only kindness. That is what you are born of. Of compassion, family, undying love, and strength. Do not forget this. Furthermore, love who you shall love, though only be weary of the world around you. I will accept you for whoever you truly are. @Aden Louna: I do not know you, only that you are heir. You must not fail, you cannot. For your family will fall behind you in such defeat. Be strong, determined, and mindful - because there is no other option. @RingAroundRosey Mahaut and Adelina: You were my sisters, yet I know you never truly cared. At least, that is what I have felt in my life. A burden to be carried, akin to Junien, at least a useful one unlike that rotten stain upon our family name. Know two things, at the least, a simple confession of my truth: I have always loved you, and have always been miserable. Do not let it be mistaken, that everything I have done, to my full capacity, has been for our family. Even if it were not enough, even if it was never right, even if it was looked down on. I have sweated, I have bled, and I have toiled for our family. Know my love, even if brash and confusing, has always been true. Thank you. @pomegrad @Dramatude Sigmar: You must take care of Mahaut, you must take care of my family. It is my only request I shall plead to you. If I were in person, such a request would be made upon my knees, as if you were Godan himself. My children are young, still not yet capable. Help raise my son Nikolaus to be a Knight, where I could not. Help raise my son Ross to be loved, where I could not. Help raise my son Willam to be strong, where I could not. Help raise the young Louna to be determined, where I could not display. This is all I ask of you, Ser Sigmar. @Terry Belisar, Gentry, Gerard, Nikolas: Gerard, how could you let Gentry be better than you by retiring earlier than him? Belisar, the fade was a good era, stop hating. Nikolas, you need to hold your alcohol better. You four were the only friends I truly had. Die in good spirit as you have lived. @Pureimp10 @Masouri @Worply @mythodon The King and the Royal Crow-Siblings: Your grandmother had a theory; I viewed it treason and kept it quiet. I do not regret this decision, but I shall tell you now. She found suspicion in how your mother had died, and how your grandparents before you. She spoke to me of guarding the lot of you from your father, yet I held my doubt. Your grandmother, your father, both were good in spirit. I know not what caused this distrust, but I can say in confidence such is unlikely. Though, you are free to investigate yourself. Live on well, and continue to bring fruition to your legacy, children of Crow. Krusae zwy Kongzem. @CheekyNolan @erictafoya @Mady @iris1612 Knight Paramount: I am retiring from my position as an active Knight of the Table. I request only that my replacement is a woman. For they are truly the wisest. Might I suggest either the Lady Teodora or the Lady Dima. Both are mighty, far beyond me. You were strong as a page, strong as a squire, and strong as a Knight. Be even stronger as Knight Paramount, see that my work for Ivangrad is implemented. @Gandhi Alekzmirez: I approve of you to become a squire. You have shown so much potential, in truth, to be even greater than your father. I wish you well, and while I may not lead you into Knighthood, I ask of you one thing, where I have failed. Do not allow this path to consume you, otherwise you shall never become a true Knight. Find love, grow a family, truly learn what it is you fight for. Live strong and die well. @Sladetricity Cardan: Before I begin, allow me to preface, that you have wounded me as I have wounded you, so we are even. You are my everything, and my nothing. I have loved you for greater than I have ever hated you. Know that I hold no regrets in choosing you, that you shall forever hold my heart, and spirit. I only wish that we could have had a life I desired: to be a vintner. That was my dream. To create wines as my ancestors had, with flavors of varying complexity, and perhaps we could have taken your name. Miss Yvaine Conradrine and Mister Cardan Matteo Barbier. It is a dream, one that is fleeting, one that I have given up on. I shall miss your music, I shall miss your voice, I shall miss your tears, I shall miss your laughter, I shall miss your anger, I shall miss your schemes. Know that though I will be gone, I will never remarry, I will never love again. Forever, I will cherish you. Most of all, I hate you because I think of you. Often. It's disgusting, and I can't stop. But I do not regret it at all. @PeachLova
  19. Hello. So, for three years minus the last two I've hosted a New Years party, primarily in COVID era as a way for us to celebrate within the community. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so anymore. However, one thing I did miss and do was the prediction board. Where players would put down their predictions for the upcoming year!! Whether it be entirely LOTC related, or to matters out of the game as well. So, I'd like to have this forum post be a continuation of such. With that said.... What are your 2025 predictions!?!

  22. Ljúfvina stood afar in the distance, watching with horror as her many beloved frogs given to her by her friends Delbert and Sarnai were viciously boinked to their deaths. Her jaw fell agape, and all she could do was watch….. ’Smoosh, smoosh, AHHH! Crunch, crunch, crunch, guh.’ Went the frogs.
  23. Ljúfvina silently cheered for the Thegn, though briefly did she ponder the quality of argentum made from a soiled soul.
