  1. If or if there isn't going be a skill reset next map, will experience for skills become more difficult to get? Do you plan on changing the skill levels so that Angelic is the top rank? If so does this mean Angelic will be harder to reach?
  2. Mein Horses live on. Good thing I'm Aengulic. Stupid question but getting mixed answers, are skills being wiped for next map?
  3. server...Server..SERVER!!

  4. I think many all ready got a lovely one for this Saturday. Also thank god, Tythus, I'm glad you were able to get around to it. I know the upkeep is tough but this was needed.
  5. Rozaliya finds herself cleaning her helm and boots from long hours of horseback riding, whistling softly as she listens to the chatter of those around her. "There are no terrorist in war, just one side against another." she mumbles to no one particular.
  6. +1 From me on this one I think we should expand off on this idea. Due to our massive growth on Vailor and also the changing of times, an desirable ice age seems to have taken up residence here. The crops slowly begin to become frail and brown leaving us with no food and an epidemic ready to happen. Perhaps we could even do things where the races start to fight over the little food that is left and only the best farmers can get something out of the small crops that are left. Eventually we will somehow see this fighting as fruitless and decide to take our chances on leaving Vailor, only bringing very small possesions. (Maybe we should somehow be allowed to take 5 items or less that are deemed allowed by the staff team. Rp items more so, no materials besides what Nations recieve which goes to nation leaders.) Depending on what nation depends on how they choose to go about this journey and how many transportation devices the nation can have. For example Oren could perhaps have three ships that they choose to take with and support their population while say the orcs take only one large ship. There wil have to be rules about this surely that the staff can work out but you get the point. Maybe depending on the resources a nation can provide determines the amount of ships or whatever (ex: Mina and building materials). Also, while on the ships there could be possible events where we have to break the ice to free the ships or fix the hull of the ship because it hit a iceberg. Even one where you have to save your fellow nation members on another vessal because the vessal is sinking in the freezing water maybe! Perhaps the nations can figure out ways to hire bards, jesters, or storytellers to make the journey easier. Hell we could even do a whaling even of some sorts if we wanted to get food. ETs could possibly pose as a band of mutinies on board that the nation members must stop from taking over the ship so they don't have to jump overboard to another ship. Or they may fail and have to do just that, jump. Who Knows? Another thing is the possibility of bring live stock for those of us RP breeders, the struggle to keep 'em alive. There's a lot of potential in all of this, you just have to think a lil about what it had been like to be on a ship back in medieval times, traveling through icy waters. Also like to mention that maybe somehow the ice age and everything relate to next map's lore if possible.
  7. I wonder, do GMs still do the Horsening?

  8. Second! And this sounds like a good idea to me, I'm excited to see more ways for thief Roleplay which will also leads to guard roleplay which leads to citizen roleplay. It's just one big domino affect that will spice up things a lil but when the RP is on a low.
  9. Seeing this thread made me think back a realize for what most consider a sort time on LoTC, I suprisingly have very fond RP memories. 1. First ever being on the server, a friend of mine had introduced me to this awesome RP server and I heard all about it. I knew immediately I was hooked and sent through an application which somehow accepted right away. I was a dark elf who's name I've forgotten but the first time walking around Athera was amazing. It was so well built and full of life and everyone seemed to be doing something. Immediately I was joined up with my friends mercs, even did my first RP with a tavern keep who was amazing whatever your name was. 2. My next character was an orc and until the end, I loved it to death. We were always do something(possibly rading... ;) ) and everyone was cool. It was the first large community from LoTC in which I was allowed in and everyone had each others backs. I picked up blah within a few days after hilarious attempts. 3. Rozaliya Malinov, my first real character although I hadn't realized it at the time. My group of friends who all use to be orcs with me moved on and we made up a big family who would become mercenaries. We worked so hard on this one keep which I will be frank was not our best to most but I loved that thing. We had built it, a place that showed we'd made progress on LoTC despite our small time. I still even have pictures. Although I love that keep, Rozaliya (commonly called Rose by her friends and family) was by far my most noobish and best character. I hadn't realized it would be hard for me to in the future give up the character, something long over due, but I want a good ending for her. She has endured and experienced so much more then I ever thought she would. The character is so fleshed out and so much back story that I look back on what she was when I started and can't help but sit in awe. I didn't know what to expect from her but I ended up with a hell of a good experience. 4. My first real RP fight with no rolls. I was back in Blackwood mercenary company and we were doing RP training, I was on Rose. I was so confused about the thought of not Rolling but I had a good opponent who was an older player. We traded blows and it was then when I learned how to flesh out my characters weaknesses. Eventually I got my *** beat so badly I surrendered and that was the end of my favorite RP fight ever. 5. Rose had gone on to be in Augustus d'Amuary's 1st Honor Guard with her family. We were treated well and got to see amazing RP from nobles at that point. It was interesting RP considering we were Arteh's guards and suppose to be legendary and not to mention the battles we fought in for him. She had somehow become a more common guard for Annabelle d'Amuary which provided for unique RP that I have never had ever again and I thank those for the great experiences that came with that job not to mention the character development. 6. Eventually I went on to make a character named Lexa Green and once again had no goals besides joining friends in Hallowvale. Another group of mercs with good guys. I joined up and the character blossomed and changed for so many things, but one of the best memories I had was of training gone wrong as I like to say. Rodney and Ashton vs Adil and Lexa, that was the original deal of course and as Vanders I'd like to say we are tough as hell. We were litterally beating each other, of course we all kept trying to alternate so that our team mates weren't overwhelmed. At one point, Ashton and I were sharing blows but I had bettered him and gotten him to the ground, Rodney occupied by Adil. All of the sudden Eric comes out of no where, hitting me in the back with the hilt flat of his sword, he wasn't part of the training and had a grudge with my charcter so that happened. Suddenly Nemir appears and starts attacking Eric and somehow tackles him to the ground and sits on him to keep him down as the two yell at each other! Mean while Ashton had gotten damn good punches on me but somehow he had ended up fighting Adil and I Rodney. Lexa wasn't so happy with Rodney at the time and had managed to hold onto him from his back, choking in him the process till he went uncounsious. Needless to say, we all ended up in the Hallowvale keep's infirmary, all 6 of us and had to get clerics to heal us due to a broken jaw, broken limps, broken ribs, and bruises. The clerics thought we were trying to kill one another, and needless to say that was the training gone terribly wrong. 6. Unbaed said this and I remebered it and love it as well: 3. Me and some friends were getting robbed by bandits when some giant ass wave of Oreners came from the wood elf boat and made them run off
  10. Rozaliya upon hearing of a man spitting on her note and babbling about dirt, she notes to herself later to acquire some and put it on the list.
  11. Rozaliya Malinov considers lowering the price to 48 minas to best her competition.
  12. Rozaliya slowly shakes her head, releasing a small sigh as she thinks back on hearing of The Elf who walked among orcs. Nether, he even lead them but was also said to be good to his roots. "Even legends die it seems."

  15. Oh boi, look at all dem chickens; running around like a bat out've hell.

  16. No one gets a good Game of Thrones joke anymore.... Winter is coming.... Or it had if you were up to date. How old is Harold Winter, he seems to have been busy for a hundred years or so? I wish for his health mate.
  17. Rose would think just like winter, the Raevirs had come.
  18. Rozaliya lofts an eyebrow at the news, thinking of all the untapped gold, iron, and more. They'd fetch an excellent price she would think to herself while on her way to speak to the Duke about payment details.
