Something has changed, those outside who pray to the gods in the streets, shouting and crying for the magic plugin they were promised eons ago, have been awfully silent lately, haven’t they? Not that you mind of course, you were never one to fall for the tricks of the sky gods called “Tech Team”, they’ve never followed through with their promises. You approach the window tea in hand, sighing deeply and reminiscing over the past. You’ve been around for over a decade at this point, or at least, you’ve heard the stories. The Tech Team sky gods are tricksters at best, telling jokes and providing little value with their scheming… You’ve always been a personal worshiper of the Story Team sky gods, for they give you special items which increase your strength, or watch over as you harvest rare material… You’ve watched as the Lore Team, a subgroup of the Story Team, ripped out the hearts of many creatures in the land, removing them from existence entirely… Magic fades in and out of power, and you’ve personally had strength ripped from your grasp as it simply is pulled snapped away. You were oh so close to obtaining T5 in a certain magic that no longer exists. Doesn’t that sadden you? Why must you follow a god which does not respect your personal interests? The strict Story Team has changed young ones, they no longer laugh joyfully as they once had, they’ve taken away what you strove for. It’s truly a shame, you sit boarded up within your once bountiful keep, now decrepit and filled with shadows. You miss the smiles you used to bring to gatherings, dancing and laughing and embracing us… The Tech Team sky gods will welcome you, young ones, for they are a joyful group. They bring things nobody asks for, but many find themselves much happier once they embrace it. Wonks, Orcroar, Magic. Greetings my friends, It’s been a little while since my last post here, and I’ll let you know I’ve been on the up! The future holds many things for us, and I bring this post in hopes of helping some of you get a laugh in uncertain times! I, Adelemphii, grant upon all of you the gift of Magic. Drumroll please… For a limited time only, all descendants (and others) have gained the cosmetic (and pvp) ability to cast spells. DISCLAIMER: This is not an RP implementation, and is merely a Cosmetic/PVP implementation that is not very balanced. It is subject to the standard rules of LoTC, so please do not abuse it. It would be sad if future opportunities like this are restricted because of a small few. In order to enter spellcasting mode, you have to run the /cast command. The command by default will cosmetic cast spells that with no damage, however if you want to enter spellcasting mode with damage there is a flag to do so: /cast -damage /cast -d To cast a spell, left click the air. To cycle spells, hold your sneak button and right click a block. P.S. Watch the video to learn how a spell works! P.S.P.S. Most of the code is new, though some spells are pulled from the original Nexus Magic from Athera, while others were inspired by it. Have fun my friends.

Snow Elves outlasted Frost Witches, I consider this a DUB! in all realness though, sucks for the ppl who played it, come play a golem or smth we can chill under the ocean together

I personally want to pull the plug on Hooked and have it removed from the main server until I have the time to work on it and develop it further, as in its current state it still remains a half-baked product. However @Aesopian keeps convincing me to keep it on main, and so I have worked today with the amount of time I have on a mechanic to make Hooked fishing an "Opt-In" experience requiring its own special rod. I am in the process of writing up a post about it, and once that it complete I will work with @Llir to have it moved to main. I appreciate the feedback, much of which I myself agree with.

Hooked Feedback Request Greetings LoTC! I've recently regained interest in working further on the fishing system I designed for the server Hooked! I apologize for the whole year of little updates on the plugin, but I've been busy with my life alongside overall lacking the motivation to work on plugins. That aside, let's get into the meat of what this post is about. I would love to hear what the community thinks about Hooked. I want to know what people think about existing systems, and potential new systems they want to see. Posted below are some questions I have for you all, feel free to add your own thoughts and concerns! How have you enjoyed your experience with Hooked? Is it fun, and is the initial 'getting into it' easy to understand? Anything you'd like to see improved with the current systems? Have you at all experienced the overfishing mechanic in your time using Hooked? If so, how often and under what circumstances Other than that, as I've stated, please write your feedback in the comments and any suggestions on where you'd like to see the plugin go in the future. I'll read through all of them, and I look forward to it.
