  1. [!] Pinned to the notice board near the gate, this missive has been left for all within the city to see. ☾༻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻༺☽ An Executive Edict From the High Council Of the Principality of Nor’asath Issued by the Halerir, and confirmed by the Primarch of the Ashen State of Nor'asath, in the year of 137 SA ☾༻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻༺☽ To the citizens of Nor'asath, It is with a heavy heart I have come to pen this letter. Knowing all that I do, and being fully aware some things can not be avoided, I come to you all to announce my official crowning as Primarch of our beloved Nor'asth. Acria has been a just and honorable leader, and while I have no desire to see her leave, I understand her choice is set in stone and that she shall someday, in the near future, return to us. May that day come soon, but until then, I promise to guide our people with the same passion and drive that she had. I may be but a star in the inky sky, but I will shine as brightly as I can while we await the return of our guiding moon. As the moon passes overhead, to fall below the horizon, only to return once more, so too shall she. I will stand in her stead, I will guide in her place, I will lead. Zob Helun-Velulaeya dasen eotal lug ulyth. ☾༻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻༺☽ Lavaelyn Maiheiuh, Halerir and Future Primarch of Nor'asath
  2. Labethzyr Spirit of the Duality of the Moon (Lesser of Luara) “You have traversed my forest, basked in both my light and my darkness. You know now well what I represent.” ∘₊✧────✧₊∘ Settled upon the carpeted floor of her clan hall, the elder of the Maiheiuh lay beside a Zohar. Beyond, in the realm of Luara, the pair explored a forest that was both truly dark and beautifully lit. They would be forced apart, to travel through the thick foliage of the blackened forest before they would come to meet again. United once more, they stood beside a pool of silver fed by a roaring waterfall. Above the moon cast its light upon them, coating all in its glow. “Speak to me why you have come to my realm.” The Zohar spoke first, “We’ve come with a simple goal, Labethzyr, Spirit of the Duality of the Moon. To offer praise and pledge our complete devotion to you.” The Maiheiuh quickly followed, “We offer ourselves fully to you, in worship and in faith.” Words exchanged, promises made. A deal was struck, a pact sealed. Both Zohar and Maiheiuh pledged to the Lesser, and one bound themselves further yet. ∘₊✧────✧₊∘ “Go forth, children, and bask in all that I am.”
  3. The Maihieuh sat upon the black stone stairs, amethyst eyes settled upon the blood stained ground before her. She'd not speak, no words could really come to her in the moment. Just minutes before she was being screamed at by the elder maehr, and now she'd never hear her scornful voice again. "I know you never liked me, Qudlia. I couldn't do anything right in your eyes... maybe one day, when I see you in Stargush-" She would cut herself off, "I'll leave an offering to Kor." With that the shaken artist would rise to her feet and make her way off to the temple to pray.
  4. Zagraath Spirit of Maherian Vitality (Lesser of Akezo) “You may call upon my power in your time of need.” Hidden far above the night-bound city, the Halerir drifted beyond and into the realm of Akezo. There she walked, marching forth through caverns and clearing great distances before her amethyst eyes finally fell upon what she had been searching for. It stood there proudly, towering tall and looking down to her with glowing golden eyes - Zagraath, the Spirit of Maherian Vitality. The spirit which took the shape of a great stag-like beast beckoned her forth and welcomed her into its grove - a clearing surrounded by pink blooming flora of all shapes and sizes. She approached and they spoke, words uttered in the old tongue, ones she had grown used to hearing over the many years. Her trial completed, her endurance tested, Zagraath agreed to her request and a pact was made: “Your words tell me you are fit to champion the vitality of your kin, and your actions reinforce it. Build me a shrine within the city, offer praise at it. If you are willing to do such, then a pact shall be made.” “A shrine will be erected in your honor, and praise you shall have. Have no doubt these things will be done.”

  6. Lavaelyn struggled to hold in a soft chuckle as she looked over the signatures. With a light smile she'd murmur, "Well, at least he still can write it... albeit largely." Content with what she read, the new Halerir walked off, humming a little tune as she did. "I foresee great things for Nor'asath."
  7. Obxkear Spirit of Benthic Waters (Lesser of Akathro) “Respect the depths… but do not fear them.” From within the humble tree-house home the Oussana had come to reside in, the cousins dove into the depths of the spirit’s realm. A tranquil sea surrounded them, shimmering like glass in all directions. The pair would be guided into the waters, baited forth to the mighty crab that awaited them. Eager to learn, the younger Oussana pressed on - asking questions of the lesser spirit and so an offer was made - an agreement came to - a pact created. “Build a shrine in my name, spread the majesty of water to the minds of your kin, sacrifice creatures in my honor each year.” “Ey kan do t’ese t’engs vor you, Obxkera.” The maehr from the deep caverns of the earth now accepted the endless depths of the ocean, and so the pact was made between her and the lesser Spirit of Water.
  8. The shorter 'ker stood with the missive in her hands as she leaned over the railing of her people's ship. A smile fell upon her ashen features upon seeing it completed. "Helun-velulaeya," she'd whisper. "Yto lyn ax a'nyrk uhv'laht ynxule." Standing up right the elf casts her gaze towards the drifting moon above. "It is good our kin seek to walk under your light again, may be be strong enough to guide them."
  9. Pinned to the wall just near the door of the library within Nor'asath hung a simple scroll. Upon its pale face was penned in clear, practice print a poem for the 'ker. ☾༻⸻⸻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻⸻⸻༺☽ O Kee my Velulaey Dunr heubo myn, A’memnu uhv’lye lynn dravyn dunr, Horuzh aeth khroz, A’belkym ummono kehel zy gukur. 10. Mana mice are friends not food. Repeat after me: MANA MICE ARE FRIENDS NOT FOOD.
  11. Heavily bias +1 since I wrote most of this lore. WE NEED MANA MICE. +1
  12. The to-be Vulyzaana looked over the notice before a little chuckle left her. The horrors of her past encounters flashed before her rich amethyst eyes as she stared ahead a moment. With a shake of her head, the small maehr would spin on her heels and start off to go fetch her sickle. "Never again," she'd whisper, before humming a pleasant little tune.

  14. From what I'm reading this is supposed to be fully aesthetic, allowing players to have more diverse armor choices that won't give a combative advantages but result in more ways to express themselves. Yes, there were a few typos that Funk has seen and acknowledged - but overall this could be a nice way to add to roleplay and develop culture further. The chitin is not stronger than ferrum, it's nothing overpowered or out of the realm of possibility, it's just aesthetic which is really fun. +1
  15. The strawberry blonde elf sat besides her forge as she idly looked over the paper. At first an amused smirk lay upon her pale features as she read into the ever going drama with Lanre. "Will that boy ever get out of these gossip columns?" she muttered to herself before pressing on. As her flickering flame-blue eyes settled upon the article about the ritual, any amusement she had found in the paper was lost. "Oh, how rich," she'd hiss. "This level of half baked commentary, laced with bias, is to be expected in a place like this." And with that the parchment would be taken by flame, consumed by it in seconds, and leaving only ash fluttering off with the breeze.
  16. [A lovely read! I can't wait to interact with them. c: ]
  17. Seems really cool! Love expanding lore and trees so, double win!
  18. "Well, that was.. unexpected," the elfess commented as they neared the docks. She chuckles as she reflected on the collecting of the ship. "A job done at least."
  19. Staff is working on getting the server back up! Fear not, we're trying to get this resolved as quickly as possible!

  20. Avonnia lofted a brow as she took hold of the parchment offered to her. The elfess took a moment to silently scan its contents before offering her sister a simple and single nod in approval. With not a pause she lay the paper down upon the table to neatly sign her name while muttering under her breath, "For the future we were promised."
