War & PvP has been the traditional story-telling of history for LoTC since there was no specific main story after Aegis. It is a sub-culture that existed within LoTC's community for it's whole duration and shouldn't be discriminated against as much as it has over the years through rule changes. It's stale to want to play LoTC strictly for the role-play because there is energy and participation to be expended on diverse activities that come along with it.
