As this is a fairly large server, with much going on, perhaps an addition to the wording on the section regarding broadcasts, the broadcast should be made specific to address the party in question.. A recent example, the dwarven raid. The dwarves had traveled via fast travel from the wood elves and to the cloud temple then to the high elves, marched on foot to the orcs. While the dwarves were at the gates prior to actual PVP portion of combat, a player had used the nearby ship to travel away from the raid, reasons unknown race unknown. Shortly after that there was a broadcast made stating (pardon the paraphrase) 'fast travels are not to be used during raids.' The players who had been banned were the dwarves after the raid had concluded. The reason given was fast travel use during raids.. Anyhow the broadcast that had been made did not address the party of dwarves and had been made after a player had fled the raid via fast travel, as the dwarves had been banned for the use of fast travel. The warning given came several minutes after the act had been committed and immediately after a player had used fast travel with an army present at the gates of the city they resided in. If not addressed one could confuse the warning being intended for the fleeing player and not the horde of dwarves as I did. it would be addressed simply by placing the leader's name in the broadcast. Also more clarification as to when a raid officially begins would help too as it has led to confusion as well. It could be argued that the raid doesn't begin until the army is at the gates, it can also be defined as when the army begins marching from the attacking city. Or even it doesn't begin until first blood is drawn. At first read the rule seems to be in advantage of the attackers making sure defending players do not leave into an area you cannot attack in due to the PVP default rule. You can't flee through fast travel. Or into a non PVP region. The difficulty with writing rules/ laws is they need to be black and white and very clearly defined. There cannot be grey areas. Imagine if instead of the law saying "Assaulting people is illegal and will result in several years in prison." It said "Hurting people is illegal and will result in several years in prison." The confusion here is in the word hurting. Ever play a contact sport?-> prison have to do cpr on someone and u saved thier life? You broke a rib during cpr.->prison. Playfully punch a friend in the arm.->prison. Etc. Heck everyone's dad's will go to prison for putting thier loved one through the hurt of childbirth, the human race would end up incarcerated or die out if every law was worded like that.

Going with the Norse theme what about draugr, not the skyrim ones but the actual draugr, they can only be killed with certainty with the weapon that killed them originally, by another dragur, or by incapacitating them by removing each limb separately and burying the pieces separately in a different hole. Gold would have no effect unless it was used to kill them previously.

In my opinion you were a great GM, any modreq of mine you answered was handled fairly. Even if I wasn't the one who benefitted from the result. You would remain with the modreq until all issues we handled. You did not rush to close the modreq and move onto the next one. It's a hard thing to do for 170+ people at once. The number of people you ban has no relation to how well you did your job as a GM. Bans are to keep problem causing players that actively disobey the rules from entering the server. You are forbidding them re-entry into the server, hence "Banish". Great rulers are not determined by the subjects they banished or put to death those are not rulers at all they are tyrants. Great leaders are the ones who served thier people.

Up vote this. That's like saying you're a bad chef cause you can't wash dishes, or you're a bad student cause you don't ride the bus. It makes no sense.

The strongest character is....Tythus...doesn't matter who you are or what you've achieved even if you manage to become an aengul or a GM or both you will always fall under the one who possesses console commands and the rights to the server. The lore, the magic plugin, the regions, the realm, all of it ultimately hinges on Tythus.
