General Question to those interested on LOTC: If we could have a mermaid/siren CA race on LOTC, what would you guys like to see from it? Would you want it to be more light-hearted (more magic based, pods of mermaids, animal-friendly, pastel colors) or a darker concept (luring sailors to their deaths at sea, curses via songs or situals, making deals with mortals, etc.)?
Please let me know!

For a playable CA, I definitely think leaving room for both niches would be good, but a darker niche overall would be fabulous. I think you could take a lot of cues from @SquakHawk's Thalassos lore, in how you could do it.
I like this idea very much so, though. If you end up writing lore for it, I wouldn't mind helping at all!

Mermaids are typically placed more with the idea of angelic type creatures in which reside in coral reefs and where most water animals live while sirens are placed more with dark creatures residing near Scylla and Charbdis as greek history presents. Adding a siren race/CA to the server could add some more ideas for oceanic and pirate roleplay, and in my opnion would be very exciting. With that - if you do plan to write up some lore for this I bet it will be amazing! (and i would def apply so quickly)
