Charlotte Augusta maintained a stone-cold visage as she looked over the declaration, a holy inquisition declared on the same breed of creature that attempted to steal her child away from her. "Good riddance," The imperial uttered, a small and satisfied smirk spreading across her lips. -
Aenora Araaloq spends the days and nights, succeeding the trial's conclusion, attempting to reconcile herself to what all has happened. Her father and uncle were both in shambles emotionally. This left her, as usual, to act the level-headed figure amidst the chaos. How else would she be the next Taegen of their family, should she allow herself to truly be led astray by such depressing sadness and anger towards a man she felt deserved no more of her time? However, late in the evening, when the moon was high and the snowfall was gentle, one could perhaps hear the quiet weeping emitting from within the Araaloq's private shrine, whispered prayers to Wyvrun offered to no one but the altar etched into the stone wall.

From her place upon the roads of Almaris, Charlotte Augusta heard of her aunt's demise whilst taking shelter in a roadside inn for the evening. "Another blow to myself and to Oren, it seems. We shall never see one like her again." She'd nod, requesting a candle from the innkeep to light that evening in her late-aunt's honor. -

Just a quick update, I'm sorry for not being around much since I got back from my trip. Alot of real life stuff has been happening all at once and I've been left forgetting any of my commitments on the server. Aenora Araaloq took pride in this declaration of reformation, an account relayed to her by her mother, Kindrel. She hadn't known of a true Fennic homeland in her lifetime, so she prayed to Wyvrun that this one might be born upon strong foundations and led by equally-strong councilors. For now, she prepared her furs and good boots for the trek north. Aenora hoped she wouldn't see another beach again for a long time.

Charlotte Augusta would take time to pay visit to the cathedral, lighting a candle in honor of the late Pontiff. A certain added solemnity was present in her tone, the late holy figure having so readily offered himself to officiate her wedding. She had never been as religious as, say, her uncle of Crestfall, but it held a significant weight in her mind and heart all the same.

The general consensus among my friends and fellow roleplayers was that ScreamingDingo would be the best choice to follow Riftblade. I'm glad the other Admins thought the same. I look forward to the stories our ST come to create with his guidance!

Her decision to depart those lands seemed to have been a wise one, the auburn-haired 'ame watching the ambitious of both old Aegrothond and Siramenor finally clash. She only hoped some made it out unscathed, Andria and Avius among those favored few.
