Bandit "rp" is the worst rp on lotc.
I love it when people just start lame ass combat 1 block away from you and then say "d20" afterwards, not giving you any sort of actual roleplay.-
you can generalize it all by saying that having to spend time CRPing with someone you aren't friends is typically an awful experience in any case. when someone begins crp with you spontaneously there's rarely a time where they aren't doing it for their own benefit, be it for items, or some magic or CA related thing, and what this means is that their intentions are far from creating actual good roleplay, or a storyline (if either of those were what they wanted, they probably wouldn't have begun with CRP in the first place). you can be certain that they aren't going to do anything in good faith, and they will do everything that will get them what they want, or seek compromise when they know they can't.

Looking back at the Almaris snapshot makes me realize how much better the map design was, even the empty areas had more varied terrain and just somehow seemed more alive. Towering forests of thick conifers, mesas, open plains, alluvial hills, great river valleys, and large chains of islands to explore made Almaris just seem so full of things to get lost and discover. I've been looking through it all day and I'm still finding interesting places I've never seen before despite playing on the map for a year.
Aevos just doesn't really compare stylistically and just seems very milktoast. I hope we get a sort of map expansion soon - maybe another big island chain or half-continent to mess around in to add more variety for exploration's sake.

i dont want to walk thru 2k blocks of scenic shit to get to somewhere i wanna rp at, yh it's cool to pass by and look at and maybe /sreq is this an event site? but i personally can't name any one person i know that has said they'd rather have that than not have to spend upwards of 15 minutes walking to somewhere that's either empty or closed. peak map design is just king's road athera but prettier

Why am I a good fit for ST?
1- I love removing lore. In fact, I think LOTC needs a complete overhaul and revert back to natural vanilla Minecraft rp. Human only! I'm so done with having weird things like orcs. It's just plain unnatural!
2- Favoritism is my favorite pastime. In fact, my favorite pastime is favoring favoritism! I will set up a PayPal so you have have all the magics! 24 hour shipping guarantied!
3- I'll have back problems in a few years anyway! I'm finishing up my fire academy and won't be able to lay down without immense pain anyhow! May as well help LOTC too!
4-May as well add Anxiety to the list! I sure do love having all emotions at the same time and other times feeling nothing! Maybe a bit of unrelenting panic would be good to spice things up!
