  1. Madeline Applebrook would smile upon hearing this
  2. This is a mineman game?!?! Yes, I have played minecraft before, I understand that normal MC crafting ain't perfect, but at least if you want to emote making something you don't need to wait 30 minutes after you've made it.
  3. So this spirit will be actively hunting the "meek"? https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/meek I'm not sure attacking passive, weak, and submissive peoples adheres to the Orcish sense of honor... :P
  4. Just a little note from a player who almost always has the Chef profession: The nexus representation of cooking is actually pretty amazing, for it allows you to make many different things not normally possible. I just wish that the required materials for some of the cooler foods weren't so bizarre and unique. Also, inept Chefs should still be able to craft normal, non stale bread, but currently that isn't the case.
  5. In my opinion, Nexus doesn't kill blacksmithing RP, it just drastically oversimplifies it. No longer is there the need to actually read on how to forge something; people just click a few buttons to make gear out of materials, and thus the actual process of creating metal items is easier to ignore if all you need is an anvil and a few materials in order to get a mechanical item.
  6. All 'ail Lord Knox, t'a true 'alflin' god

    1. rukio

      rukio

I worshipped him 'fore y'all as Wither so.

  7. As words of the Norlandic changes and decline slowly wind around Tahn, eventually reaching Madeline Applebrook's ears in Pendlemere-by-Cotton-Lake,she can't help but wonder if they doing OK "Knox 'elp them, whoevah t'ey are". Of course, she didn't really understand what Norland was, for all of her maps are still of the old Orenian empire.
  8. I'm always pleasantly surprised whenever I see an applicant that is a halfling and not a human.
  9. On one of the smaller islands? There doesn't seem to be any jungle areas on the main area.
  10. Looks amazing! I'm already trying to find out where the best spot for a halfling village is
  11. Agreed, a system involving rituals instead of casting will almost always be more mystical and interesting, for it could expand the uses and characteristics of magic without dividing magic into a billion sub groups
  12. Press F to pay yer respects, good ol' Wafa shall never die in our hearts
  13. Madeline Applebrook the halfling would most certainly have not seen or heard of this journal of which this information was inscribed, and thus she would continue with her happy life in Pendlemere-by-Cotton-Lake. However, if she were to have seen this journal, she would shed but a single test down her right cheek as she would read the part concerning loneliness, for reasons only Lord Knox could know why...
  14. After spending many hours pondering the very fabric and existence of LOTC's grand and unique universe, I have indeed come upon the following conclusion that I shall include a ways below...

HalflingRP=BestRP, and All Hail Lord Knox.

    ((I have a very weird mind, don't I?))

  15. Interesting points, I agree with the statement to announce where the RP is, yet I do not quite agree with increasing the cost of land, for increased land costs could negatively impact groups that are looking for a place of their own yet do not have much in the way of minas (Like the halflings, for example) If the costs of land were to be increased, maybe it could be that only the cost of tiles are increased? While land charters do spread out RP and can take away from the RP in cities, the main issue is the metric ton of baronies, forts, strongholds, etc that are often spread out about a nations lands.
  16. RP default all the way, It's a ROLEPLAYING server for crying out loud
  17. Why does Veris think they can attract a halfling population when there's already an active halfling village? What is a halfling's greatest fear?
  18. This man has some common sense in him, agreed
  19. It's happy and joyous to see a return of Lazy town memes, yet sad because the only reasons the memes are returning is because our great meme hero, Stefán, is dying. :(
