History

90 Years Too Long

Devon Hunter Overland was born to two lumberjacks in the
city of Dresden, Hanseti. He was the first of four children. When he turned two
years old, his parents moved to Solace to learn to farm in a much warmer
climate. This is where later he met his long-time friend, an Elf named Sirame,
he introduced Devon to the sport of archery and they used to have completions
with each other seemingly every day.
Devon still wasn't too good at it, often still being beaten by Sirame

just about every time.  Nonetheless Devon,
even though he lived on a farm, he often did nothing with it, as it didn't
interest him, he decided to take up woodcarving as a job instead to make up for
his share in the family income.

After several years of living in Solace, Devon’s family moved back to Hanseti, along
with Sirame’s family, who seemingly tagged along. Devon took up lumber jacking
as a job, but was never really good at it, he often found the axes often to be
tiring to use. Sirame and he never did much archery, as Sirame had also taken
up jobs as well. But then the whole world seemed to move to Elysium as Asulon
was wiped out. Devon was around 16 at this point, and eager to get out of his
family’s house. So when Devon turned 17, he, along with the 16 year old Sirame
decided to travel to Kalos and do odd jobs for minas there.

Then it happened again, everyone moved onto Anthos, Sirame went back to Elysium with
his family and Devon stayed in Kalos. When Devon arrived in Anthos, he stayed
around the Cloud Temple and surrounding areas, hoping to see his family. But it
was of no use and we went to live in Kingston. One day in Dawn’s Bakery, he was
approached by a man by the name of Uthred Foy, he recruited Devon into the army
of House Carrion and began to train him. But as Devon was nearly 25, he lost contact with him. He made friends with a High Elf named Aelidar Elsil'sirame and an Orc, named Juz’Zudah he once was the source of a fight between him and his Orc friends and a High Elf.  Once again in Salvus, he was approached by another person, an Elf by the name of Talibar Tyrowen. This guild was the Nieric Order and Devon was happy to once again try learning combat. Everything was all fine until he was thrown out of Kingston by The White Rose. He began to stay around Malinor, until he pretended he was never a part of the order and he

lost where they were.

Devon then mainly stayed around Abresi after Kingston was closed and he had basically
broken his ties to the Nieric Order. He did very little afterwards, sometimes
trying to hunt with little success. He had one friend which saw occasionally by
the name of Aregon and another once called Earl. Then he found The Wolvengard
and joined it very quickly, hoping once again to learn to fight and to help
against the north.

After a few years, Devon was reunited with his brother (now named Tallanvor Alta’are)

and has bought a house in Abresi, through this did little to change Devon’s goals,

besides finding his family. He hopes to still learn to fight, and has been working towards that
goal. More recently, he has been unable to enter Abresi due to The Wolvengard
being loyal towards Sophia Horen. This means that his guild is all he really
has left, unless he hides his identity in Abresi.

A year or two swept by, and Devon began to long for his home in Abresi. As The Wolvengard began to decline, he decided he would leave and return to his home. This event echoed his previous abandonment of the Nieric Order. He began to stay around home, until he was offered a opportunity to travel to The North with his brother. This offer was provided by his brother and Aregon Blacktide.

Disaster struck, as Aregon Blacktide and his brother, Tallanvor Alta'are were both 'killed.' Devon ran into the frozen forests surrounding the wall, the snow being illuminated by the moonlight. After awhile he made it back to Abresi, but he never saw his brother again.

As the people of Anthos left into the Fringe, Devon met up with Aregon and his friend Aemyn Verde. They were running a stage and acts company called The Emerald Company. Devon was at first not optimistic to join, but he soon was learning to play the drum after being convinced by Aemyn. And for a long while he tried to slowly learn to play the drum, but he never really progressed beyond simple sounds.

The Emerald Company soon fell into hiatus, and by the age of 52. He returned to Oren and currently lives on the streets. He hopes to piece what little he has now back together within due time. He had since lost contact with all of his friends but Aregon Blacktide and lost hope of ever finding his family again. His oldest friend, Sirame, was now just a memory soon to be forgotten.

Upon his arrival in Thales. Devon set out into the wilds for a year, hoping to live off the land in peace away from his friends. However due to the deep freeze he soon found himself returning to Tempum, where he now resides on the streets awaiting the day he can return to the wilds to enjoy his last few years before becoming too old to work.

His arrival in Athera was uneventful for the most part; she simply made his way to the fortress of Polaris (after being convinced by someone by the name of Forenier,) where he remained for a few months before once again departing into the wilderness. He often found himself and malnourished throughout his time in the wilds. But one day would change his whole life.

He saw a great light in the north, and soon made his way out towards it. There he found a large group of people of all nations which soon descended into a ruin where the light had been over. In there various riddles and puzzles had to be solved, which Devon helped retrieve the clues to some of them. Alas, the effort was all in vain, as it culminated into the release of Iblees into the world once more. Distraught and scared, returned to the only place he knew well...

The Wilds, where he would spend the rest of his days...

~Ravenhold Under A Blue Moon~

The large moon glowed blue,
As the fires in my house burnt red,
Everything I ever knew,
Was destroyed by the undead,

In my town of old,
We ran along the shining pairs of rails,
In the night’s freezing cold,
Past the Laurelin trails,

We ran into the portal,
Escaping all we knew,
My loss of Ravenhold will be forever immortal,
As the whole world moved to a land anew.

- The 27th of The First Seed of the year 1353 in Aegis/year 2 in Asulon

~Wonders of Anthos~

It was only an Elven Day
In which I saw many wonders
Which almost led me to pray
That it wasn't Iblees

Atop the mountains old
The tree which burned green
In the seed of The Deep Cold
Littered with Skulls

I must be seeing unnatural objects
Its teeth, so big and... Unnatural
Yet it is the being the forest rejects
It was only a Rabbit, but it spoke

The Rabbit, it spoke to me
But only to one
It gave three wishes to me
I told it to go home

It was only an Elven Day
But it I saw beings
Which almost led me to pray
Yet it was only an Elven day...

- The Unknown date of The Deep Cold of the year 1444

~Soulstone~

I put my soulstone in my hand
I found myself at the temple
It sent me home without my command
Now I wait in the Wilderness
Waiting for Aeriel to disband
Iblees's armies of the dead
I do not want to demand
But this night is cold

- The 9th of Snow's Maiden of the year 1445.

~Adunian Redwoods~

Once again on the road
Crossing streams and creeks
With a odd sound of a toad
I passed by many beaches

I went into the lush greens
Of the Southern forests
I slept with pleasant dreams
In my pure white tent

The Adunians must have lived there
In small modest houses
Their signs could be seen everywhere
Under the great redwoods of the south

- The 20th and the 21st of Snow's Maiden 1445

~My Farewell~

To the Aspects who I failed

I am sorry I did not help you

To Aeriel who I worshipped

I am hoping I see you soon

To the Monks who I am in debt

I am sorry I did not help you

To the world who I am leaving via death

I am hoping you recover soon

History

Early History

Maehr was born on the 12th of the Great Harvest, to Vallei
and Illera of Ravenhold, many years before Iblees set foot on the lands of
Aegis. His early life revolved around there, his father, Vallei, used
occasionally mine, but never took his only son with him, perhaps because he did
not want to lose his son.  Years rolled
by rather quickly as he grew up and before he knew it he would often accompany
both his parents around the various nations. He never went into Krugmar, but
was always intrigued by the walls, and what savagery laid behind. Other times
he would often be in the forests around Ravenhold, listening to the various
birds and finding new land features that he had not seen before, trying out his
novice archery skills, and sometimes gaining access to The Ravenhold-Laurelin
tramway.

It only seemed to be a blink of an eye and then the whole world seemed to vanish in a
large flare.  The undead had taken most
of Aegis, before Maehr and his family had to leave through the Verge and then
onto the oceans of the new plane. The journey was saddening for Maehr, as he
seemed to lose everything he had known.  The boat seemed to creak as the boat arrived
in a new land. His mother, Illera began to sing songs to pass the time, Maehr
was interested in these songs and decided he would study them when they reached
the new land.

Asulon seemed like a strange place when Maehr arrived. His parents and he choose to settle in Elandriel, where Maehr began to start learning to write poetry in his spare time. He practiced
archery as well, mainly in the warmer parts of the years that seemed to roll by
so quickly. As he reached his 80th year, it became easier for him to travel and
watch as the world grew in the new lands. When the plague struck, it did little
to change Maehr’s lifestyle and he sat around at home with his tea waiting for
it to pass. He had written several pieces of poetry, but one of the first he
wrote, stuck in his mind and he imprinted it on the back of his book cover, so
he could forever remember it, and it read:

The large moon glowed blue,
As the fires in my house burnt red,
Everything I ever knew,
Was destroyed by the undead,

In my town of old,
We ran along the shining pairs of rails,
In the night’s freezing cold,
Past the Laurelin trails,

We ran into the portal,
Escaping all we knew,
My loss of Ravenhold will be forever immortal,
As the whole world moved to a land anew.

As the plague ended, Maehr began to travel to see how the
world had changed since he had last seen it. He also went on to see more
places, yet he still never visited the Orcs, due to his fear of what they would
do to him. He cringed at the thought of being beaten to death by an orc.

Maehr tried many jobs, finding serving other people quite enjoyable. He tried being a
farm hand, with little success. He spent the majority of his time practising
his two passions, exploring the world and archery. He still did poetry as he
enjoyed studying it, but after many years of traveling there became little to
write about. The same thing seemed to happen with traveling, and he started to
dream of finding a new land to discover, and to meet new people. He began to
visit the druids more, finding out about their ways, he considered joining
them, but that fantasy ended oneday on the roads.

Attacked by a small group that what was left of the undead minions, Maehr arrived at the cloud
temple bleeding. The monks were quick to help through, and as he was healed by
them, he felt that he owed them his life, and decided it would be best to join
them. But as he was beginning to open up to the prospect of doing it, the Asulon
curse began and they were all whisked once again from the lands that everyone
had grown used to.

Maehr didn’t mind this trip as much as the first, except for the feeling of going
further away from his home. Maehr began to travel both Elysium and Kalos, and
seemed to hold off on his goals for joining the Druids or The Cloud Temple
monks. He odd various job around the island of The Elves, and he wandered the
islands in his spare time, until of course they left for the next continent.

Maehr sailed abroad the Elven boat, hoping to get his goals back on track and become
either a Druid or a Cloud Temple Monk. His journal was destroyed during the
boat ride, except for the binding, which allowed for him to save one of his
poems. He often stayed around the Cloud Temple or Leumalin in the hopes of
becoming a monk, but nonetheless he still visited the main cities, and watched
as the human cities changed drastically while the Holy Oren Empire Crumbled. By
1444, Maehr had decided to leave and travel some more, and to finally see if he
can join one of the groups he has wanted to for a long time.

The Final Years of Maehr's Life

Maehr rarely stayed around Malinor or Leumalin, instead, he preferred to travel to the mountains in between the Cloud Valley and Malinor. There he found a place to be away from people and enjoy the peacefulness. Strange sights were often found on his adventures, such as a tree set alight with green fire.

Upon his arrival back in Malinor from one of his trips, he encountered a strange creature. A rabbit that spoke to his mind it seemed. It granted him three wishes which he spoke out loud to the people within the square of Old Leumalin. He had previously been talking a High Elf named Lelien, but he never suspected that she had anything to do with it.

He met many more people along his journey, but their contributions to his life were minimal. He often used to go and travels far into unknown lands, sometimes with a companion. Old Malinor fell and he then had his home base as New Malinor, due to his previous location in the mountains being taken over by a fortress.

While in New Malinor, he met a pure Elf by the name of Evark Evocess. Who claimed to have a large collection of painting of Aegis. Maehr, who had not seen his home in nearly a century agreed to come into his home. However, he soon found himself in a torture chamber alongside a child.

Rescue soon came, and he was healed by Nienna Calm. While he was saved, the scars never healed fully. He soon stopped travelling as much and instead he stayed around New Malinor up to its defeat by the Conclave.

Maehr's Death

The Conclave was not a favoured place of Maehr. When the time came to move into another realm, The Fringe, he decided to stay in the wilderness and live off his little survival skills. Unfortunately, this would bring about his demise.

All was fine for many years within the Fringe, until the drought struck. He still wished to be a Druid. But he decided that getting involved within the affairs of Haelun'or and the Druids. Soon, his food supply diminished and he found himself hungry, thirsty and weak. The sun blazed down on him as he contemplated the thought of death. He had managed to survive attacks from Iblees' minions before, surely he could get through this.

But nature was an opponent greater than all else, the idea that not even Iblees' minions could stand against it filled Maehr's mind. Before long, it occurred to him that his time was drawing to a close. He had one more wish before he died, one last poem.

Underneath what little shade he could find in a secluded part of the Fringe, Maehr sat down on the dry, decaying grass. The trees were withering as well so the sun still managed to reach him. Using what little strength he had left, he carefully wrote one last poem. He looked out onto the afternoon sun, thinking that he would not see nightfall. He wrote his poem on the back cover of his book, so it would remain with his first. The poem read:

To the Aspects who I failed

I am sorry I did not help you

To Aeriel who I worshipped

I am hoping I see you soon

To the Monks who I am in debt

I am sorry I did not help you

To the world who I am leaving via death

I am hoping you recover soon

His skills in poetry were not as good as he remembered, but he hoped it would mean something to someone. He looked out to the setting, fast on the approach to the horizon. He smiled one more time as he mumbles his last words.

  "Aeriel, please care for me."

He looked towards the sun, a slight smile on his face. His eyes soon closed for the last time.

While she thinks of all races as inferior to High Elves, she is inclined to trust Humans (and Kharajyr) very often, due to their past actions by her kind. She acts very motherly from time to time, often caring for or mentoring children that are not her own or even not a High Elf.

Weaponry
Fighting Style: Andria has no defined fighting style, due to inexperience in combat. This leads her to often be chaotic and unpredictable as she tries an assortment of moves in an attempt to harm the opponent. Her favourite move is to try and directly stab her opponent, however this is often an ineffective tactic.
Trained Weapon[s]: Andria is not trained in any weapons. Despite this, she will attempt to use any light weight weapon at her disposal if required.

Favored Weapon: Andria prefers the use of a rapier or a simple short-sword; the latter is often used in the battle while the former is used elsewhere. If need be she will also gladly use a bow.

History

Early Life (1318-1462)

The youngest child born to Vyllir and Vicira Fi’talareh. Andria Fi’talareh was born on the 9th of The First Seed 1318. Her older sister, Annyerir Fi’talareh was already 22 years old and helped for her in her younger years. Their home was just outside Laurelin, though she preferred read books on just about every topic.

While Andria did enjoy most of the books her parents and sister provided her to read. Aside from studying, Andria would also would think for long periods of time about the meaning of her existence, a question she could never answer. At age 26, Annyerir purchased her a book on metaphysics from one of the shops within Serpent’s Ridge. As soon Andria got hold of it, she read it several times. She realised that this was what she truly wanted to study.

Andria’s parents were agnostic people, as with most High Elves. Though they did seem to believe in Aeriel to an extent. Andria felt little need to disagree, and continued to study without much thought into what could be there other than Aeriel or another spirit. Her sister, on the other hand would often tell her of the Undead Wars happening in The North. The Fall of Al’Khazar had happened only six years ago, and the threat was slowly approaching Malinor.

And in a blink of an eye, they fled through the portal at The Cloud Temple. Andria could not help in the construction of the boats, yet she also lacked any books. She spent most of her day observing, watching as the Elves of Malinor moved back and forth like ants to build boats as fast as possible. Before long, she was boarding one.

After her arrival in Asulon, word soon reached Andria that her kind now had their own home, a home where study could be done in peace. Andria and her family soon made their way to Haelun’or, a place discovered by Ellir’siol on the Emerald Peninsular. The city was still in its infancy as they arrived, but once again, Andria could only rarely help with the restoration of the city.

The fruits of labour soon began to show, as Haelun’or was turned into a great city prior to its first collapse. Andria began to study again, though her book collection was much smaller than it had been in Laurelin. She started to write her thoughts on what she had seen and learnt. The strangth of her people seemed strong, even though they had only been separate from Malinor for only a few years. The atmosphere of Haelun’or led her to question things that she had rarely thought about.

“Does Aeriel even exist the way I imagined her?” That question echoed through her mind. However the answer soon became obvious in her studies. Andria saw a new principle doctrine, one that did not seem to restrict her study. ‘maehr’sae hiylun’ehya’ became her new belief. It made sense after all. Her belief in her superiority began to strengthen as well. She felt that the other races did not study at all, at least not as much as those in Haelun’or.

After a while, the Mori’quessir began to show hostility to Haelun’or. Soon the Orcs began to do the same, who had grown worried at the sight of a purple portal within the city. Before long an Orc force was at the gates, and they soon came through and pillaged the city. Andria cowered in fear with her sister and mother inside their home as fires raged outside. Her father, Vyllir attempted to defend the city, however he was injured in the process. However it did not matter, her family was still safe.

Soon the gate was kept closed, and Andria ould study in peace again away from the people outside of the wall. Andria continued to study in the Eternal Colledge, as it now had more books than she could ever hope of reading. From time to time she would attend classes about her kind’s language. She realised her name had a meaning, and the meaning of her name became an important part of her.

                                                                  “Hope”

Her hope was to find the ultimate truth, the very thing that explains the whole universe.. She could imagine her joy upon the day of finding it. Many nights were spent writing by candlelight, as she attempted to try and find a footing for her theory. Annyerir would seem to frown often when she visited Andria, to Annyerir it seemed like a useless endeavour. “aymaehr’sae hiylun’ehya” was a common response when asked why she studied it so often. Annyerir soon found contentment in the fact that she wasn’t completely consumed by such a thoery.

It seemed like the thing Andria knew, they were on a boat to another land yet again. All her work was left behind in a great storm that destroyed Asulon. It seemed like she was onboard the boat to Asulon again, only that she was going away from it. On the bright side, she had a direction of where to go with her research.

Another land and another nation, Haelun’or had attempted to reintegrate into Malinor. Though she began to miss her home in Haelun’or. Andria was at first not too fussed by the change of living in another nation, as long as she could be in peace. But she then realised why she rarely visited the cities of Malinor in Asulon. She thought they tried to reverse her back into the High Elf that lived within Laurelin. To safeguard her purity, she decided to leave with her family and stay away from Malinor, who were soon heading to war with Oren. She had seen wars before, but the thought of warring Oren was a greater nightmare than any other.

Andria and Annyerir wandered Elysium on occasion, seeing little need to head to Kalos. Especially after reports of a place called the Badlands. They had little resources to study with, so they turned their attention to traveling. However after a decade, they were already preparing to leave to another land called Anthos.

Upon arrival in Anthos and the contruction of Lin’evaral, Andria returned to her lifestyle that she had in Asulon. However her mind began to wander to other subjects, and she found herself reading several tomes on alchemy. By then the year was 1430. She tried experimenting with various potions, finding delight in the ones that worked; which they were few in number.

From then on Northwest Anthos seemed to be in constant danger, according to Andria. The Holy Oren Empire was warring Malinor. The Black Scourge were also warring Malinor. Andria knew she was safe from Oren as they had recently signed the Crimson-Silver Concordat. However the Black Scourge were still a major threat.

On one cold night, the Black Scourge attacked, corrupting Lin’evaral. Andria had to flee as the city became uninhabitable. The place of refuge became New Malinor and despite her reluctance to try living in Malinor a third time, Andria went.

After a while, Andria found herself in a new place, called The Tomb. The Tomb was built after the Conclave of Malin invaded and destroyed Malinor. Even though she did not necessarily agree with their values, she was glad that Malinor was gone. But she soon found she had only a few of her possessions yet again, and at the age of 139 she decided to give up on Alchemy for the moment.

New beginnings (1462-1475)

For an Elf like Andria Fi’talareh, the fall of Anthos seemed to be a like a blink of an eye. She left the Tomb and headed into the Door of Eternity. Though The Fringe had been found earlier, Andria has not made the journey. She spent several years wandering the Fringe, occasionally residing in Zion as the First Fringe War raged on.

As the Conclave collapsed, Andria soon made her way to back to Tahn’siol. There she met Brelyna Elibar’acal and several other High Elves that she came to know as friends. Within an Elven day of her arrival, Yulnii Elibar’acal and Galanthil Maehrindor. Though she could not find a gift for the couple quickly as a group of three suspected impure High Elves arrived at the gate. One of those Elves was later accepted and became a friend of Andria’s. Her name was Avern’dionne.

Haelun’or soon found itself in a conflict with the Druidic Order. A Druid by the name of Milo had been captured in Lin’ame, one of the districts below. A group of Halflings and Humans came, including a member of House Flay. Andria and Brelyna decided to head down and defend Lin’ame with the guards, though in the end no blood was shed.

But there are memories that Andria has forgotten, with her only knowledge of them being that she woke up in the Cloud Temple twice. Andria had defended Lin’ame from raids twice more after that, both times being sent to the Monks by the same member of House Flay. Afterwards, she decided to spend more time studying once more.

Andria also attended the sacrifice of Shroom Druid Milo as he was sacificed by the Kharajyr as Kalenz Uradir’s way of executing him. It did not affect her, as it meant the beginning of peace between Haelun’or and the Druidic Order once more. The Fringe was in the drought, and the Druids had tried to use this to cause peace, but the Kharajyr provided Haelun’or with help as they were residing in Tahn’siol.

Many days passed in the library, Andria continued to study. She also gave tasks to Vallei’sul and Avern’dionne as they were both under taking the path of purity. Andria also gained a home, where she was convinced by Seth Calith to allow another High Elf on the path of purity to stay with her. Andria reluctantly agreed, noting that the impure was in a terrible, malnourished state.

Towards the end of the Fringe, Andria was sitting in a tea house with several Elves of all sub-races. Until Kalenz Uradir came in with a music box. This music box made a dreadful noise, screaming various phrases in Elven at a very high pitch. It also teleported several of the tea party members out of the room and into a place which Andria never managed to get information about.

Then Andria went through another portal to another land, called Thales. There she made her way to Celi’ante, the new city of Haelun’or. There she became a farmer and began working the fields, though the effects of working on the farms soon began to show. Later on she lived in a house with another High Elf named Archae. Her friend Brelyna Elibar’acal, who had woken up from a coma soon told Andria that she had remembered who her parents were.

As Durion Uradir became Sohaer, he introduced Andria to Lyu’maehr. While on the boat outside of Tuv Aviv, they began courting each other. Andria thought she had found someone to love for the rest of her life, though they had barely known each other. Before long, they set sail to another new land, Athera.

The joy of landing in an unknown place seemed to diminish after passing through many realms. Nonetheless, Andria began to help with the construction of the new city of Annil’sul. Then there was a coup, Durion Uradir was killed and removed from power. Lyu’maehr committed suicide, leaving Andria behind. She began to wonder who he loved more.

Andria found out that her to be spouse had died at a meeting within the new Eternal College while discussing the coup. She nearly killed herself too, but found hope in her doctrine of progress and health. However her misery soon turned to joy as she met another High Elf by the name of Janos Ith’ael.

Janos and Andria later traveled the area of Athera known as the Shards. They spent two nights there, exploring the barren landscape. As they arrived on the edge of the Abyss, Andria cast a fishing rod into the Void. Not all the sights would that pleasant, as Andria broke down when she began to see corpses which been mutilated. She cried in Janos’ arms as they slowly made their way out.

As the pair left the Shards, they resided under a tree for a night. There they discussed many topics, until Janos and her once more decided to court each other. They returned to Annil’sul as a couple, and within an Elven week, they were wed by the Maheral Lucion Sullas. Around the same time, Andria ran for the position of Okarir’mali on the Heial’thilln.

Andria expected to lose the election, as her competitor, Vellulaei’thill Vul’athri, was far more known than her. Andria was also now pregnant with Janos’ child, however she still persisted. Kalenz named her the new Okarir’mali as Vellulaei’thill was now only rarely seen. This gave Andria the trouble of having to balance her to be family life, and her position. She also had little time to study now.

Andria and Janos’ child, Luna Ith’ael, was born a few months later. By then several of the houses had been built, and Andria had settled into the role of Okarir’mali quite well. As with all government positions, sacrifices must be made, and Andria’s position had put a barely visible strain upon her new family.

Within the coming years, both the current Sohaer and Maheral became absent for long periods of time. The nation was soon without a leader, or so it seemed. Andria ended up having her opinion requested in matters that were normally reserved for the aforementioned positions. The day of change soon came, and Andria would not miss the opportunity to lead her kind.

The new Okarir’akaln Damasus Visaj was the first to challenge Kalenz Uradir, then Andria went to do the same, alongside the Okarir’leyun Iatrilemar Elervathar and the Maheral Lucion Sullas. Later Delonna Aeléyèlsa told her to not run for Sohaer, as he believed she was very good at being Okarir’mali. However, things were to take a turn for the worst on one fateful day.

A member of the Silumir requested Andria’s opinion on whether to detain another High Elf who he considered insane. Andria, after hearing the the evidence, soon agreed and the High Elf was taken to the prison within the Bronze District. There Phaedrus Lle’hileia, Camernor Par’von, and several others all peered into the cell containing the detained High Elf.

Camernor Par’von approached Andria as she was asked to give her judgement on the situation. He told her he knew that she was writing to rebels - which was partly true, as one had contacted her. Andria became infuriated, and proceeded to take get the detained High Elf removed from Annil’sul in anger. Camernor’s damage had been done, but it was far from over. She nearly wept to Phaedrus and Elrona Lle’hileia as she realised her actions. She knew she could not stop Camernor.

Day by day passed, and her stubbornness became evident, she awaited the perfect moment for when she could stop running for Sohaer, and soon the election was called. Camernor’s patience had run dry. She awoke in the Cloud Temple nearly half a year later, with a new scar upon her neck. She returned to Annil’sul, completely disorientated, though she returned to do the exact same thing she had done - managing housing.

Discontent had grown in the nation of Haelun’or and she had found out that Camernor Par’von had been killed by Phaedrus Lle’hileia. This trust was only temporary, as Iatrilemar Elervathar was elected as Sohaer, and then found trapped inside a crystal in the laboratories below the Eternal Library.

Phaedrus Lle’hileia declared himself the new ruler of Haelun’or, and he also threatened to kill those who had wronged his people. Andria was going to be saved, however her husband, Janos, was to be killed. Kalameet Izalith was proclaimed Sohaer by the new Maheral Kalenz Uradir. The High Elves of Annil’sul then fled, they were now homeless.

The Tribulation (1475-1484)

Distraught and lost, Andria Ith’ael and several other High Elves, including Kalameet Izalith traveled to the Holy Oren Empire, to a location on top of a mountain located nearby the town of Aldersberg. It was there where they met with Ser Gawain Briarwood, who advised they ask the Emperor of Oren for refuge. The then Okarir’tir, Thurdan Orathon, who was in the party as well declared his intentions to retake the city immediately. No one agreed to his proposal.

Andria bluntly stated that she would die under the banner of Oren if it granted her people the right to stay within their lands. She sternly opposed retaking the city at the time, as she knew they could not capture it with only the help of Oren. An Elven day later, Andria and Thurdan both arrived at the palace in Petrus both with different demands.

Thurdan asked for troops to retake the city, to which Emperor Tuvya Carrion refused on the grounds of the High Elves supporting the Chivay takeover over a decade ago in the Fringe. Upon the refusal, Thurdan made his way out of the palace and Andria saw her time to change history.

Andria asked for a refuge for her people, to which Emperor Tuvya Carrion agreed. He offered them a district in Petrus or to go ask for land in the Duchy of Aldersberg. Andria was delighted and returned to speak with her kind, who afew had already gathered in Aldersberg; it seemed like the perfect place to go.

But there was one more person to speak to, Olivier de Savoie, the Duke of Aldersberg. She had met him many years earlier when pregnant with Luna Ith’ael, and he recalled her once she introduced herself towards the closing of the meeting. Delonna Aeléyèlsa was also present at the meeting, which was held in the Aldersberg library. Andria offered the Duke military support, the skills of her people and assistance in whatever way she needed. It would’ve been certainly obvious that she was nervous and desperate.

The Duke was sympathetic to their cause as he considered them to one of the few civilised peoples. He granted them land on the hillside and within mere days, work on the refuge had began. In the end, it seemed she had finally won the challenge for Sohaer, as Delonna Aeléyèlsa proclaimed her Maheral of her kind.

As with all government or more so, leadership work, Andria found herself drifting away from her family. Her daughter Luna was still present, however her husband Janos was almost never seen. The final time she recalled seeing him was actually rather emotionless time. Her husband wished to join the Marked Men, a witcher guild which Delonna Aeléyèlsa was also associated with. Andria told him she would rather he didn’t due to the restrictions on having families. After a short conversation, she told him to ask and then never saw him again.

Her daughter, Luna, was not immune to the problem as well. After a few days of absence, Luna told her that she was now staying with Kalameet for a while. Andria did not mind as Kalameet had been a close friend of her husband, even at one point being relatives. Though one thing had bothered her, when Luna told her of where she was staying, Andria had heard Luna and a man who would later introduce himself as Martial Solatius talking about the of Creation.

As Luna showed her the Order of the Red Dragon’s fort of Kaer Angren where both Martial and Kalameet lived, Andria questioned Luna about what she thought of the Creator. As Andria warned her of the dangers of believing in a deity and mentioned to her what she had believed in her early life. Andria later told Kalameet to steer her away from it, to which he told her he had no part.

Martial Solatius later showed her more of the fortress, during which they had a conversation discussing leadership of various types. Martial hinted at the Grand Knight, Great Ser Maric II Varodyr, receiving what he deserves one day. As Martial was aspiring to lead, Andria advised him to take initiative no manner the situation, something she had done rather recently.

All seemed well, until the Order of the Red Dragon was declared traitorous by the Carrion leadership. The Duke of Aldersberg remained neutral in the brewing conflict and upon a meeting with him, she decided to try and get Luna to leave. However she was rarely present, rendering Andria unable to do so.

Days passed and Andria, along with Delonna Aeléyèlsa decided to meet with the now King Maric II Varodyr. The meeting went well and he sympathised with the High Elven people; he even talked of a new concordat, something that had not been created in decades. He even said that the Carrions wished to remove the High Elves to help their diplomatic stance. Delonna and Andria agreed that he was certainly a better choice for the ruler of Humanity than Emperor Tuvya. Without hesitation, they agreed to support him without providing troops, to keep their loyalty to the Duke of Aldersberg.

But the rebels weren’t the only ones looking for support as a battle grew closer. A member of the reformed Sillumran by the name of Braxus, asked to bring a group of Sillumir to the upcoming battle. He was promptly refused on the grounds of wanting to remain neutral. She then met with Viktor Carrion in Petrus, who told her that Aldersberg was fighting with the Carrions. Nevertheless, she still refused after what Maric had told her.

Soon the Carrion supporters were crushed and the Holy Oren Empire broke up once more, forming three kingdoms. Andria pledged full support to the Kingdom of Renatus, offering to fight in all future battles. Andria had met Phaedrus once, and his behavior disgusted her, the time the tribulation was approaching; though some notable people stood in her way, one occasion resulted in an argument between herself, Avern'dionne and the wizard Blunndermore in the Renatus throne room.

An old friend, Avern’dionne soon drafted a treaty with the Dwarves on her behalf. Her, along with Andria and Delonna signed the Treaty of Gold and Silver. It was the first treaty with the Dwarves since the Treaty of Thales. Avern’dionne then negotiated with the Orcs for the first time in many decades.

Alas, the duty of being Maheral had taken its toll on Andria. As the year of 1483 came into full swing, she finally snapped and posted a resignation on the wall of the main hall in the refuge. She knew Delonna Aeléyèlsa would lead the High Elves out of the refuge and into a new home.

Avern’dionne soon secured an alliance with the Orcs, though it ended with the exile of Kalenz Uradir for attempting to send death threats to Phaedrus Lle’hileia, even though the Orcs had killed him once. But it was not the Orcs who would help the High Elves regain the city of Annil’sul.

During this time, Andria found Lyu’maehr, who had courted her before his apparent death, within the refuge and a heated argument ensued. He asked for forgiveness, and told Andria he had faked his death to prevent himself and Andria from being put on trial. She promptly told him it didn’t matter and said she had found someone else, despite Janos’ disappearance.

A group of Dark Elves by the name of the Laurir’ker also wished to destroy some of the places within Laureh’lin, and soon an alliance would be made which resulted in negotiations with the State of Laureh’lin. But that was not the only thing on Andria’s mind, the father of Camernor Par’von, Aredhelon Ill’yat approached her and told her that she would be forgotten.

Indeed, the tribulation had affected her, her Elven tongue had become much more reserved. However her time was far from over.

The Return (1484-1493)

While one could say the tribulation was over for the High Elves as they now had a city and land (which had been created by strange means,) in reality it was far from finished due to the issues of a few High Elves. This caused trouble for most of the former leadership, including Andria. Kalenz Uradir’s mere presence in their new city threatened to see it taken from them once more.

Outside of the Standing Inn one day, Andria met up with Lucas Black, someone who had carried her to the Cloud Temple after she had been mauled and killed by an Orc. He told her that if Kalenz was not removed, then there would be more trouble in the city-state of Haelun’or. Action had to be attempted.

The very next Elven day, Andria climbed one of the many hills that sat upon the plateau of the High Elves. There she met Kalenz, along with Silir’ilume, Kalameet and a few others. Kalenz displayed his discontent in her presence, believing that she intended to remove him, which was rightfully so.

“Progress and health can also mean sacrifice, llir.”

Those were the words that Andria uttered to Kalenz and he promptly responded by saying he would rather be executed instead of exiled. Kalameet then rose and offered to do the deed for her, as there was no other way to convince Kalenz.

Much to Kalenz’ surprise, Kalameet struck him twice, resulting in Kalenz falling off the hillside to his death. Despite the initial concern that the whole event could have been an illusion, they were later settled. Kalenz rose once more as a ghost and threatened to haunt the plateau forever.

Little did Andria know that Kalenz’ death was actually an illusion, so she went on in seeming peace - and plenty of relief. This relief, along with the sudden return of Janos Ith’ael (who disappeared due to his shade,) provided a feeling of satisfaction. Though somethings were not right.

Janos’ time away eroded away his mental state, and he thought most things were uncanny and fake. Nevertheless, Andria persisted on and cared for him. His behavior continued until one by the name of Cyra Ikru’ne assisted and gave him ways to cope with his issues. Andria had also not seen Luna Ith’ael since the fall of Kaer Angren to the undead; Kalameet and Janos tried to convince her otherwise, but it was no use.

In some sort of revenge, Andria joined in a fight against the undead by rallying with the Orcs with Seth Calith. Andria survived the war-claim and it gave her a taste of war - something unseen since her early years in the Fringe.

First came the election for Sohaer and Medi’ir, which resulted in Avern’dionne entering a position of leadership, and Kalameet and Silir’ilume placed into the postions of Medi’ir. Shortly after in the election for Okarir’mali, Andria won by a large majority and instantly began work with her old documents from Annil’sul.

During Avern’dionne’s short reign as Sohaer, Andria had the opportunity to meet with the Dwarven King by the name of Zahrer Irongrinder. Though the reign of the Sohaer was not to last long as the trial and execution of Lyu’maehr saw Avern be challenged and later swap roles with Kalameet Izalith. Andria and Kalameet’s home would be filled many politicians (Janos Ith’ael was given the title of Okarir’tanya.)

On one day, Sinyail Maher attempted to kill Mediliyur Lyu’len after being provoked by her. This lead to a large scene in which she was beaten to death Sillumir by the names of Rotharr and Ibar Izalith. A trial was soon held and he was later set free by Silir’ilume, Tali’ and Cyra Ikru’ne. The latter tried to have him banished, though Silir’s speeches defeated any chance of it.

The remainder of the days of the next few years crept by rather peacefully, despite a large war later starting up between all the nations. Haelun’or initially fought with an alliance by the name of WATO (West Athera Treaty Organisation) which led to Andria fighting in a single battle in Karovia. Andria made it out alive, but in defeat.

Eventually, due to Olivier de Savoie being a major member of the opposing side - the Canonists, Haelun’or’s ties to WATO slowly slipped away. These broken ties cumulated into an attempt to overthrow the leader of Laureh’lin, Chancellor Artimec Camyron, and replace him with Dwyn Tinuvial.

Alas, it ended in further conflict and almost resulted in a battle between Haelun’or, the Company of the Wolf and the Canonists versus Laureh’lin and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Though Haelun’or and their allies later withdrew (despite most likely being able to take over the city if tensions escalated even further,) resulting in Dwyn surrendering to Artimec and another by the name of Ac’aelu.

The Company of the Wolf later traveled to defend the ruins of Paralon from an unnatural force. Andria joined along for a short while, but soon retired from combat for the time being. While one global conflict had ended, another one brewed; one sparked by both the Wood Elves and High Elves.

Though in such gloomy times, there were glimmers of hope. An old friend who was wed at the same time as Andria, Ruiri Izalith, returned to the city and asked Andria to assist her in finding her daughter. It seemed to be of little use, but any answer was adequate. Another by the name of Valmir Maeyr’onn donated the largest donation to the city of Haelun’or that Andria had seen.

It soon became known that Ibar Izalith was actually an illusion of Kalenz Uradir. He began his campaign against Laureh’lin once more and the tensions only grew. The methods were effective, though they caused plenty of trouble in Andria’s mind. Raids by Orcs, Dwarves and Wood Elves soon became prevalent in the city, though most were fought back. Kalameet soon left his position as Sohaer due to Kalenz’ actions.

Thus an election was called once more; Avern’dionne and Kalenz Uradir, along with two others by the name of Galan Evindal and Tuith Ni’leya which received almost no votes. Andria thought was only one logical option: abstain. Only one sentence slipped from her mouth as she spoke to herself while voting:

"ikruan ito naean'leh.. Alas, it seems they do not know what tribulation they face now.."

Kalenz soon won the election and Andria only had one thing to do: prepare for the future when the tribulation would happen once more. Deprived of time, she stood down from being Okarir’mali. Janos and Kalameet seemed absent once more and Andria almost had little reason to stay in Haelun’or...

The Retribution (1493+)

Though, as doors seem to close, others open. Such was the case for Andria as the Wood Elf-High Elf conflict escalated to the point that skirmishes between Haelun’or, Leyulin and the nearby Dwarven fort, Eastpoint were a thrice daily occurrence. Remembering her statement upon the mountains nearby Aldersberg nearly two decades ago, she strapped on her old Sillumir armour set and proceeded to begin assisting in the conflict. But only a single Dwarf would fall to her blade during this time.

It was during this time that Luna Ith’ael returned, just days after Andria and Janos considered if she was still alive or not and if they should have another child. Luna had resided within Oren for many years and had taken on their culture. She showed immense dislike for her father, but most of all, Luna wished to assist in the conflict against Leyulin as retribution came into reach.

The day of retribution drew closer for Andria and her kind as they soon marched to war alongside the Kharajyr and the Reformed Kingdom of Oren; it is notable that Oren did not tell of their attendance until the day of the siege of Leyulin. The ensuing skirmish decimated both the Wood Elves and their Dwarven allies. The latter had built an underground fortress, but it was no match for the explosives that Avern’dionne bought into the battle. Alas, Andria soon woke up at the cloud temple, the feeling of many Dwarven blades still lingering within her.

Nevertheless the battle ended with victory for Haelun’or, Oren and the Kharajyr. Further battles in Fiandria were planned but did not come about as peace terms were soon negotiated, granting Haelun’or control of the nearby forest of Fiandria up to the walls of the new Laureh’lin capital of Cerulin. Curiously, Cerulin was located where Norithel had been back in the days of old Haelun’or.

Despite a Treaty of Fiandria being signed, tensions between the two opposing Elven nations remained high. None of these events mattered to Andria, who was now on her way to becoming a member of the Evarir’thilln. Only the capture of criminals and patrols of Fiandria held any merit to her, aside from her mostly absent family. Death slowly crept into her life, becoming more common as a red-eyed Dark Elf fell to her and a member of the Order of Saint Amyas. The retribution would have to wait.

History

Traversing Many Realms (1442-1489)

Wallace was born to a McHadden Farnish and mother by the name of Dawn in the rebuilt city of Abresi. He spent most of his early life with his mother, with the occasional visit from his father. His father’s visits were often fueled by narcotics, and resulted in experiences of abuse. These experiences would leave a lasting mark on him, however hidden they may be.

As the descendants moved from The Fringe and then onto Thales, Wallace stayed with his mother, having heard little from his father. This was a relief to Wallace and Dawn as they resided in a hovel in the cities of Vekaro and Tempum in each realm respectively. While he had taken up work as an apprentice to a tanner, he later enlisted in the army of the Imperium. But Wallace did not see combat due to the end of the Fringe War and the Treaty of Thales.

Upon arrival in Athera and eventual collapse of the Imperium Tertius, Wallace eagerly joined the fight against the rebellion, assisting the Chivay supporters who later lost. His experiences would again repeat a decade later, as he took part in the defence against the Renatus rebellion, his reasoning for supporting the Carrions was only to provide stability - something which would never come. His efforts were in vain, and he once more retreated to the life of a tanner within Petrus. Nevertheless, war was never far from the horzion, and he was willing to fight once more.

As yet another war came by, Wallace had no intention is in fighting in it. He soon made his way to Aldersberg, to join a guild which he had heard of through the word of the mouth: The Marked Men. Upon discovering that their Aldersberg base was empty,he trekked towards their new base located outside of Haelun’or, and so his journey began.

The Marked Men (1489-1497)

His first impression of the Marked Men was far from what he had anticipated in the first place: a Fisstech fueled sparring session between Morris and Adeon. Later he was informed that such substances were banned to be banned, and his initial impression of the guild began to slip away.

Wallace’s first challenge within the Marked Men was not his trial. Instead, he was given the opportunity to infiltrate the Blood Mage base with the rest of the Marked Men and a mercenary guild known as the Company of the Wolf. There he found many sights he hold not seen, including supernatural beings created by the Blood Mages, and the leader of the Blood Mages himself: Caladrius.

Nevertheless, the infiltration ended in what seemed to be a victory for the two neutral guilds as they climbed out of the ocean nearby Paralon/Paradise. One peculiar structure would change all of this, as a green structure appeared in the sky like the one that hovered over the now corrupted fortress of Kaer Angren. They had released something worse than they could have imagined. Wallace and the rest of the groups ran into the portal from which they came as hellfire showered all over the area.

Many days passed, and soon the time for the trial before his initiation. Upon the evening of the day, rald Elgan and Wallace traveled by cart to a location outside of Karovia. There he was instructed to travel into the Embermoore swamp and survive one night.

His trial seemed uneventful during the early night, as his only concerns were the sounds of distant fauna and lighting a fire. Only in the early hours of the morning did he meet a foe: a dire wolf. It howled, before attempting a charge. Wallace stood his ground, and pointed his sword at the creature with the hopes of plunging it into the beast. He succeeded, but his foolish strategy was not without sacrifice: a new scar had been carved into his face.

Yet this was not the only scar he would receive on this day; when returned, the initiation of three new Marked Men began. One by one, Wallace, the Sparrow and Valahan ‘deGrey all were initiated (or reinitiated in the case of the Sparrow) via branding. The pain was only subdued via a White Gull potion, which was like a narcotic in how it caused hallucinations.

As time passed on, the Marked Men slowly began their descent into slothfulness, as monsters became rare. The Undead had seemed to all but vanish from the world, and the Blood Mages were not to be seen either. Wallace was content nevertheless as bonded with his half-brother: Morris, but he did not know that it was him.

Thusly a new opportunity was found, though it would be one that would separate the guild into two. The Sparrow told of further business in a far away land; the old land of Aeldin. He, along with Adeon, Morris and Wallace embarked on a daring journey to the continent (Gerald had went before them) aboard the Ebony Glider. It would many years before any of them returned to Athera.

The Reformation (1497+)
