this is not some whimsical, power hungry grab for the crown. It is a strong and true rebellion.]

((Then keep fighting lol))

[senda I respect you more than a lot of other people on this server and agree with you. The best way to improve something is to help with what is already being done about it. Here is the thing, yeah AiiM and Cracker got it united under one Emperor, but honestly anyone could've done that. You and Erlend are the ones actually /improving/ the Kingdom. For that you both have my utmost gratitude.

If people have been saying that I am promising multiple Kingdoms they are lieing. I have not promised anyone a Kingdom at this point, even though multiple people have asked for one. I plan to get rid of the whole Empire title and go back to one High Kingdom. I actually do have a detailed plan of all that will happen. Now of course I am not going to explain it all in OOC on this thread, but trust me when I say this is not some whimsical, power hungry grab for the crown. It is a strong and true rebellion.]

((Personally I am fine with everything you say, and what you plan. RP is RP, keep RP to RP, this is my opinion. For the sake of proper, adequate and good roleplay.))

AiiM and Cracker got it united under one Emperor, but honestly anyone could've done that.

((No. This is a wrong statement. Consider the situation we had back then thoroughly and you will see why.))

Quite funny that you only look at the people who are building Abresi up. Like I said in the past, Senda and ChumpChump are amazing at what they do; but they're not the only people doing it. Why not actually take a second to consider what is being done rather than jumping to the conclusion because you see one person online more they are the only people doing anything

See below vv

Also, what reason are you wanting to rebel; apart from being power hungry?

[[As Bazian said if you're going to rebel make yourselves stand out more in roleplay. As well prove yourselves, I mean not many people would support a rebel who's yet to capture a single castle. So go out there an be rowdy! The thing is there's been too many words, in OOC and RP. People and their characters want to see things rather than be told they're going to happen. "Actions speak louder than words" as they say.

Aislinn summed it up, if you want to rebel go for it. It's rp, you've got the freedom to do it how you will. Don't let OOC dictate if you do this or not.]]

Whether you explain it IC or OOC, the point im trying to get across is that you have yet to show this plan.

Perhaps you should post this detailed plan in another post then, so we can see what it is you (and/or others) actually want.

I actually expect most of your plan to be things that "we" are either already implementing or are planning to.. and can't just yet due to <insert circumstance>.

Thing is, everything is rather vague, what with "we are fighting corruption" and "we plan to improve everything, honest!".

I am a very trusting person (much too trusting, according to Cracker) and I would like to believe you actually want to improve things for the human population at large.. but without a plan, without tangible proof of your intentions.. I cannot help but wonder what things may look like in the eventuality of a successful rebellion.

Currently, I envision a fragmented splattering of groupings, all squabbling over land. Essentially setting the unification efforts back to square 1.

[ Here is the thing, yeah AiiM and Cracker got it united under one Emperor, but honestly anyone could've done that.]

While I appreciate your support and admiration for the work I (and tons of others, mostly others) have been doing.. the above is actually not true.

I can tell you for a fact, that what Cracker and Aiim did.. I could not do.

[[Dude, if you want to keep fighting, keep fighting. The Kyle, Onslaught, jojoma, and I worked together to create a strong rebellion, giving our ideas out or destroying them depending on the situation. Unfortunately I am on Low activity for most of the weeks to come due to college studies and I believe Kyle's char died. Though while I was there I was... VIVA LA REVOLUTION!]]

Kyral simply stares at the man, before responding

"Forgive me if I ramble and rant, but allow me to state the obvious and be done with my political side for Oren.

As former Queen of Salvus, we had many people try to throw us out for they were simply power hungry. I am indifferent to the cause you and Carrion serve. You and Carrion server different ideas, and while one may call the other petty, your both petty for reasons that include.."

She takes a deep breath

"There are those willing to risk their life and limb for both sides, but have you considered the possibility of the families they might leave behind? Loved ones devastated over the loss of life due to rebels? And what about the families of the Rebels on your side?

Do you really think its fair to kill and destroy families? Are you no better then the accusations of word of mouth about the Carrions?"

She smiles before continuing

"I don't like war, I'm one that seeks peace. War should only be used when all other channels of talks are closed. Now, I'm not the most updated on the Orenian politics, but why not, while unarmed, request that Emperor Carrion meet you on neutral ground. In order to talk out in a calm and clear manner, what you wish to see changed.

You can save a lot of lives by doing so, open your mind and accept the fact that you've already done wrong like they have, but work to change those errors and strive for a unified Oren. There are much bigger problems then this."

Kyral would look north before giving him a nod, "And to that, I take my leave"

((All my reasons are stated IC. read it.))

((I will state again what has been said along with something that may have not been as clear.

A strong leader does not concern himself with (the opinion of sheep?) the doubt of others. Changing a nation through rebellion or other means is ambitious. Your ambition/vision of a better kingdom can not be explained. It can only be seen in the reality.

Doubt your own idea and ask some second opinions and form the finest possible idea and the way it can be executed. And then make sure it is made into reality, through effort, patience and dedication.

No one grants you his trust, cause in most cases you have to earn it. If you trully believe you can do a better job then go ahead and let the others worry about opposing you or stopping the rebellion.

Ps. I am tired. If that seemed to general, simply research, spent time in game and lead by example

Only you know if you are up for it))

[[sure, some of us may like to have some fun on the forums, but I believe, as I'm sure many others will agree with, that the Carrion dynasty has done the best job of ruling the humans since Emperor Godfrey. Cracker runs an amazing central government, Senda and Chump are masters of planning, and Iorwen is trying to reintroduce the church as a big part of peoples' lives as the human lore says it should be. Like Godwein and Senda said, if you truly want to help the race, build it up from the inside, try to get a position in the government, don't lead some rebels and the Elvish communists to take it over. Part of the reason the government is so difficult to handle is because we've gone through something like a rebellion each month and the rebels give no time for the government to become stable. Godfrey's empire was so good because he was an admin so nobody rebelled against him, and so he had more than enough time to make good changes and policies. On that note, the rebellion is IC so you should do it because of IC opinions. I'm just saying give it some time and try to work with us before you automatically assume we are horrible leaders and try to overthrow us.]]

Yes, Because any smart king would happily welcome rebels back with open arms.

((The reason I like the Carrion House and do not want any other house on the Throne of Oren is due to:

They have competent people in their ranks who actually know how to lead, AiiM, Cracker, Chump, Maly.  They all work well together and get things done.  What they've accomplished is what the whole server was moaning about four month's prior.  They removed all the noble houses and added a system of Nobility & Peasantry, they've worked to limit the noble houses, they revoked titles of basically every single noble.  People have been crying about the amount of Houses and towns in Oren and Aiim & Cracker removed them all.  There's a minimal amount of towns now and they have to be populated.  Note how Kralta, Cracker's original village is abandoned and how everyone moved to Abresi due to the low amount of activity in Kralta.  With a new Emperor, they would just give land off to Nobles, create new houses, and make Oren back into villages upon villages.  They centralized Oren because they were basically forced to by the community and the thing that I don't get it that they're Tyrants because of it. They didn't just unite the Empire, and I doubt anyone could of forced 3 Separate Kings to relinquish their titles or to vassalize under them.

Go with your rebellion In Character; i don't understand why you're taking OOC into RP.  It's dumb if you just give up because of OOC reasons.))

*A man named Theobalt Rolnik responds to Slade Tarus' question...*

"Nay, sirrah, thee shan't continue thine uprising. Thee claim that thee art oppressed and scream the words that ye shalt bring order and happiness to these lands; nay, nay, thee shan't. All this uprising brings to the home is fighting and death. In a land whither we live which is already swamped in violence, why increase it? Tarus, thee, tell me this: what is thine reason to rise up against "the oppressors"? Who art the oppressed? Who exactly are the oppressors? And, finally, thee shalt speak to me this: why dost thee bring further troubles to these lands and use thine blade and bow to kill thy own kin? Why hath thee forsaken the Creator himself? This would hath all be easily, easily solved should thee have spoken to his Imperial Divinity himself before joining up with some deserter-folk..."

*Theobalt Rolnik awaits a response.*

((Continue the rebellion, don't make the same mistake I did. . .there could have been some pretty awesome RP for the dwarves, but there was none. I think rebellions make for great rp.))
