Sins Of The Imperium

Various parchments are found scattered throughout the Oren Imperium. Seemingly printed upon them in large intricate letters reads the following.

 

“Citizens of the Oren Imperium,

We, the dwarves of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan deliver unto your hands a message of peace and cooperation. Your Lords would have you believe that our war is unrighteous and declared in the name of bringing forth an Empire of sin. Thusly, we wish too to deliver our case. May the creator decide whose cause is the one of righteousness and justice.

You must ask yourself first, what has the Imperium done for the good and ordinary folk of humanity? Do not give in to the lies and deceit that they envelope around your minds. These are men of evil, men who have altered the facts of the past for causes unknown to none other than they. Oren and the human Kingdoms gained their independence not by the will of any human King but by one of dwarves. Dwarves who have sought to preserve the balance of the creator’s world from the dawn of time.

“It is by the final decree of his majesty, Grand King Thorin Grandaxe, the first of his name, ruler of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, and the Kingdoms of Salvus, Savoie, Oren, Karakatua and Adunia, Slayer of Skarux the Alpha Dragon of the North, Holy Protector of the Human Race and Liberator of the Elves and Halflings, that the Kingdoms of Savoie and Oren are granted full independence from the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Furthermore, the realms of Salvus and Karakatua are given a choice to remain under its rule or so too be given the choice to become independant states. This, as the final wish of the Grand King before his death is to be implemented fully in the weeks to come. May his soul rest easy within the grand halls of Khaz’A’Dentrumm.”

Our declaration of war was made with these goals in mind. As the Grand King released the Kingdoms of Oren into independence, it was our hope that conflict would be brought to an end. Yet under the tyranny of the ruler who now sits upon the throne of humanity, it has become evident that this is impossible. Imagine first an armed Legion of dwarves trespassing upon the coronation of the human Emperor. Imagine then if these dwarves came with the intent of kidnapping an esteemed guest, disregarding and disrespecting the honour of their host. Then imagine that these dwarves had expanded upon your lands, insulted and mocked you as you declared your faith to the creator. For this is what we, the sons of Urguan have endured and endured in silence.

For our own society was formed around oaths of balance and honour. We do not seek to impose our will or even have participation within the affairs of humanity. What we do seek however, is to offer you the chance to begin anew. To right the wrongs of the past and reform a society in which the rule of good prevails above all else.

Throw off your chains and free yourselves from the shackles of Imperial tyranny.Think of your family and of the lives you have built over the years. In what world would you wish to see your offspring grow up in? A world of terror and absolutism or one of fairness and prosperity? Within the lands of Urguan, the private practise of any religion is free to those who wish it. Yet within the borders of the Oren Empire, you are harassed and imprisoned for following beliefs outside that of Oren’s church. Do the words of your rulers therefore stand true that we seek to bring ruin to your culture by imposing our faith upon you?

For dwarves and humans are not so unlike as so many are led to believe. Many years ago, it was as our world was subjected to the cruel and unforgiving reign of  the Krugmar - Malinor alliance that we, the sons of Urguan and Horen fought side by side for the survival of our kin. In this day and age, we of all the races of Anthos, have witnessed the atrocities committed at the hands of aggressors. We do not seek to oppress or enslave Oren as a foreign tyrant. No, it is our intent to cleanse the very heart of the Imperium so that we both may yet again, live freely and in a bountiful peace.

Fight by our side and that of the Houses who oppose the Carrion Empire and you will earn your freedom. Fight by the Imperium however and you fight on in the name of ignorance.”

Lark sits in the Crow Club wondering what the point of it all. He shrugs, getting up and walking down to his smithy and picks up a dark red sword that sits on a iron rack. Looking over the sword he sits down at the grindstone and begins sharpening it.

"This is all nice and well, but they do not consider that this is yet going to bring more devastation and chaos into the Human Realms? Can't the Humans just stabilize their own nation for once, without being dragged into constant war? Exactly such actions continue the imbalance of power and the chaos within nations. For the sake of what is good, the dwarves should fecking attack the North for once!"

Young Vladislavistan pens a letter to the Dwarven Council.

 

Dear Dwarf Midgets; Protectors of the Balance of Earth; Police Force of Anthos,

 

You could not contain the Conflict of the Ruskan-Adunian War and now you seek to be the Guard Force of the world.  You say that you released the Kingdoms as a result that it would keep the peace, although it makes absolutely no sense that it would work.  I am baffled by your attempts to cover up you instability and poor leadership and governing qualities by stating that it would stop violence and conflict.  You state that there is violence due to the tyranny of Emperor Carrion although it is you who is invading and he who is defending.

 

There was no conflict, no wars, nothing until the power crazed Sophia Horen and People F. Tarus went agianst our Glorious Empire.  It was People F. Tarus that bent the knee to the Dwarven Invaders so that he could take the throne at whatever cause.  He abandoned the Human race; the Human culture; and all that humanity stands for a simple rank and crown.  You do not wish to keep peace; you wish to regain your former holdings and create an empire of your own.  It was you who insued this rebellion, you are the invaders; you are the ones who attack Abresi and invade.  When given a Treaty; the Dwarven people remove the King who ended the war and instituted another, power crazed Warmongering Dwarf to be King.  The only people speaking of oppression are those in Foreign lands, who know nothing of Carrion rule and simply wish power.

 

So to the Midget Imperium, People F. Tarus, & Sophia Horen; **** you, **** your mother, **** your dad, **** your sister, and **** your brother.

Pjtor has a friend reread a portion.

"Then imagine that these dwarves had expanded upon your lands, insulted and mocked you as you declared your faith to the creator...Dwarves do this every other day when the come in tents and start preaching big bull. Under Tarus, dwarven faith would reign in Oren where it does not belong and we'd be puppet state at best."

 

"Brosa, I should be dwarf propaganda man. I will write this. "We want to remake Urguan Empire to try and set humanity back an elven year under fake People Tarus!"

 

He blows his nose on the parchment as a few Raevir patrons cheer before tossing it away.
