Im trying to get it back and the majority of people /want/ it back. Just because we're removing the Adunia /you/ know doesn't mean we're somehow becoming "normal humans". We weren't normal humans before all this Scottish crap, and we wont be after. Okay, then, what will be different? What will we be like? You say we should base ourselves off of the Dunadain from Lord of the Rings, but they really weren't that different from normal humans. You are asking us to remove a bunch of stuff about us. The lore for adunians may have started in some way, but there can not be a way to force players to play as the culture lore comands them. An orc can act like a halfling, and a kha can dance ballet, you may try to state your feelings of wanting to go back to the roots, but OOC'ly you can not force it. If the players that wish to play the adunian characters the celt, kilt wearing way, they are free to do so, and so are you to make fun of them IC. Yet if for some reason they are the majority, they also have the freedom to make fun of your character IC. It is up to the players to decide how their characters behave, but do not joke about or make fun of a player or their characters OOC'ly. Culture lore is not required to be followed OOC'ly, and should be developed IG and enforced IC if the players wish.
