[Ooc] Adunian Clarifications

I'd like to inquire of the Adunian religion and worshiping. According to my resources, the people followed the 'One True Faith' and then converted to a pagan religion, worshiping 'old gods' in the contemporary era?

There is Adunian Creatorism, which Niccum and I have been working on for quite awhile

Under Artorus the First's rule in the Fifth Era most Adunians converted to creatorism, as they were living in Oren at the time.

However, in Anthos most worshiped the Adunian 'old gods'.

Most converted back to the Old Faith of the North (not an exclusively Adunian, one they actually adopted from elsewhere) during all those rebellions :L

Both Axl and Radahan told me the Irish thing was legit so I wrote the book but YOLO, I agree that it was stupid.

Also Owl, my Clan Campbell is based on the fact that they follow old 1000 year old traditions, and I'm not changing that for you, k?

As long as you're ready for you clan to be treated as madmen by other Adunians, no problem.

What I'm seeing on this post is basically "Don't wear Kilts, and don't have any Celtic/Scottish influences past accents." I think it's absurd. You're saying wearing Kilts is breaking lore because it's out of fasion, but if people are wearing kilts, then kilts are in fashion, and we shouldn't be trying to restrict that. And also, if we don't have any influences from any cultures, what are we? We're just big Humans with funny accents. Our builds are already pretty generic, we need more original things, not less.

What Im really trying to say is if you don't like the Adunian lore don't play an Adunian, don't try to adapt it to your own purposes, go and create your own subculture that fits with your Scottish-worshipping ideals.

Edit: Also, Adunians aren't any taller than normal humans. Another common misconception.

Yeah, Adunians have been wearing kilts, even with your OK, for almost a year. So you're now mass-altering the entirety of what Adunians have adapted to be.

I may need to rescind my seal of approval due to all the kilt arguments. I feel like if everyone is wearing a kilt, some might see it as odd, like how old people view younger people's style of clothing and music (to be typical). But we see it as fine since there's so many.

Although I do like the getting rid of the google translate, I would like to ask, Why are we even a subrace? The only thing that makes us different is all the Scottish influences, if you take all those away what is left? What is left is a group of Half Elves who can live to 180 and have a Scottish accent. If this happened it would take away from the uniqueness of the subrace. So... I disagree with this.
