The Forthcoming of Armageddon

The mountains remain cold, unchanged.  The breeze rolling over the peaks still continue cooling the lands of Urguan.  However, the heart of Grand Kind Indago Stormhammer is burning, burning in the heat of hatred.  He can not think, he is only furious.  How has the world, that he has lived he has lived in for so long come to this?  Conflicts are one thing, but those who threaten all living things will be uncalled for.

The halls of Kal’Ithrun still remain unchanged, as merchants trade and brethren of the dwarves converse amongst themselves.  Little do they notice the king enter the halls, marching to his throne.  He is full of spite, hatred is revealed to all that look at him.  The only living hominid he trusts is his admirer.  As he takes a seat, he scorns at those inside.  With one look at the distaste king, Dwarves left the room to leave him upon his throne alone.  Indago saw the last of those to leave, and he sat there.  Surrounded with the bitterness of silence and the distant sound of activity from the halls.  He stares at the stone in front of him, and does nothing.

It’s been a day, and many have wondered what the king was thinking.  No one bothered to disturb him, afraid to enrage the king.  For all his life, King Indago never tolerated religious disobedience and for what happened could not be ignored.  Still alone, he reached into his pocket, pulling out a letter he received earlier.  It was crumpled and in bad shape but was still capable to be written on.  He looks at the emptiness of the back of the letter.  With a quill, he pauses hovering over the piece of paper.  He thinks for a moment.  Last thoughts cross his mind, as he contemplates what to write, though time was of the essence and so he began to write.

*letters are sent to those who rule the nations of Anthos

After completing the letter, he takes his sword in hand.  Creating a cut upon the sharp blade on his finger, he wipes his hand across the letter he wrote.  A streak of red is visible across the paper.  Along with it, a moist area where the tear of a dwarf has fallen.  Look up at the empty throne room, he sees there was someone there.  There was a boy, a young lad and Indago is drawn looking at him.  The King sees the innocence of the boy, he almost becomes saddened.  He mutters a few words, that shall never be forgotten.

"The night is bright, as they day becomes dark.  Water brings life to those who can not see."
