SisterhoodOfTheDryads 4 Share Posted December 3, 2013 All Asulonian Dryads/xmrsmoothx's lore Dryads are STILL accepted and can still be played (though you have to abide by the new standards). Simply re-post the application with your Dryad's information and I will add you to the list (you do NOT have to show me the skin though). Before applying, read THIS THREAD: Dryad Lore!ACCEPTING DRYADS OF ALL TYPES ACTIVE: - Mi̱líti̱s/"Cider"/firestar344 - Apple Tree - Nkriniári̱s Sfendámou/"Grumpy Maple"/bballman12 - Grumpy Tree (Maple) - Agrios/"Fierce"/angelgirlx617 - Maple Tree SEMI-ACTIVE: INACTIVE: - Paizon/"Play"/xmrsmoothx - Ash Tree - Lamprós/"Brilliant"/Ionmaster - Oak Tree - Chióni/"Snow"/Pinsir99 - Confier Tree - Fengári Déntro/"Moon Tree"/scornofhell - Cedar Tree - Anthisi/"Bloom"/MartinTheMartian - Cherry Tree - Evimeria/"Prosperity"/Randomness710 - Cherry Tree - Armonia/"Harmony"/leapinglemur - Cherry Tree - Eirini/"Peace"/Fireblaze5678 - Cherry Tree - Aelithia/"Idiots"/Bladecreep - Willow Tree - Galí̱ni̱/"Serenity"/The White Wolf - Conifer Tree - Dynam/"Strength"/Dawion Tal'Velulai - Birch Tree - Agathós/"Kindly"/SunderedHeart - Orange Tree - Kleistoí/"Enclosed"/Lego XBOX - Chestnut Tree - Aichmi̱rós/"Sharp"/Keegan Valkrae - Chestnut Tree - Mitera/"Mother"/Ever - Apple Tree - Spasménos, Spasmenna, or Spassy/"Ruptured"/Darkjames - Willow Tree - Sklira/"Hard"/Brandnewkitten - Redwood/Sequoia Tree - Episkiázei/"Obscure"/levirad - Mangrove Tree - Deilós/"Skittish"/Tristanm1 - Pine Tree WILL BE PLAYED: ???: DEAD: - Akomi/"Still"/MonkeyCoffee - Pine Tree The application process is simple. You will only ever be denied if I believe you would not make a good Dryad. You may apply as many times as you'd like if you are denied. Name of Dryad, Greek word and English meaning: Type of Dryad: Picture of Skin: MC Username: Forum Username: While skinning your Dryad, keep a few things in mind: 1. Think of your tree's biome. If it's in very cold biome that snows constantly, you do not want your Dryad wearing a simple leaf skirt and bra. They would freeze to death. Think more along the lines of an elegant wool dress, dyed green, with pine needle accents. Keep in mind that you can always have multiple skins, too. If you'll predominantly be in a cold biome but think you might travel through a desert sometimes, you can always have a simple bra and skirt skin. 2. Remember your tree's colors. Every tree has a few "required colors" that usually matches their leaf/trunk colors. Your Dryad's skin should reflect what type of tree she is bonded to. A Maple Dryad will have very vibrant reds, oragnes, and yellows, while a pine Dryad will have predominantly dark green with various other shades. 3. Remember your Dryad's skin colors. Every tree has a range of skin color that your Dryad can be. 4. Eye color is for you to decide upon. Just don't do anything TOO wacky like pure red eyes if your tree is predominantly green. 5. Hair length if for you to decide upon. Colors should stay within your color pool. Most Dryads feel the urge to adopt a new name to go along with their new identity. This naming process does not follow any known Elven naming convention and instead, is thought to be something instinctual. Please use google translate ( http://translate.google.com ) English to Greek for your Dryad's name - use something fitting, on phonetic setting. For example, Paizon, a very playful Dryad, translates to 'play'. I had a Maple Dryad named Kollodis, which means 'sticky'. (Think 'maple syrup.') Your name in-game will be <Tree> Dryad <Name>. For example, Ash Dryad Paizon or Maple Dryad Kollodis. Guide to naming your Dryad: 1. Go to http://translate.google.com 2. Select From:English and To:Greek 3. Type in the English word in the first box. You will receive a Greek word in the second box. Example: Dance -> Χορός. 4. Click the "A with two dots" symbol, the 'read phonetically' button. 5. Your Greek alphabet word will now be in English alphabet. Dance -> Χορός -> Chorós I want Dryads to be a fresh, fantasy addition to our server. Dryads should be the best of the best! Don't be scared. I don't require you to be the best roleplayer, just that you understand basic grammar and understand the rest of the server rules and have a good attitude. If you are strike/ban reported, and I deem the report to be valid, then you will receive a strike from me. Two strikes (or one, depending on the severity of the report) and you will have to either kill your Dryad or force her back into being an elf. This is to keep the Dryads free of trolls and poor roleplayers; hopefully none of you should have to worry about it.

YouKnowItsJuno 269 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Looks good, you have a tree? No tree, I was looking for a place where a lot of people pass by so my dryad could pull pranks and tricks on passersby.

YouKnowItsJuno 269 Share Posted December 7, 2013 My dryad's name means sour, so I thought she'd have a sour disposition and that the only things that she really finds joy in is her tree and pulling pranks. Can't make her too grumpy, you see, or else she'd be the Grumpy Tree dryad, and we both know that won't fly ;)
