Bethykinss 158 Share Posted December 25, 2013 New accent. New hair. New clothing. New scars. New make-up. New tan. New backstory. New face. New personality. New Name. Beth had not intended to die, or at least create the illusion that such a thing happened. She was basically driven to it. Other options had been available to her but only this allowed her some degree of freedom. It was a favorable option. She could walk around in public and not be accused of anything of any sort. She could be a new person… well mostly. It wasn’t easy. She knew it wasn’t easy. The most difficult task was changing some key aspects of her face. She missed her old nose and her old cheekbones. She remembered looking at own reflection while basically torturing herself, adjusting the bone structure of her face with needles, scalpels and a chisle... Her nose received quite a bit of damage at first, it took weeks to get rid of all the distressing details such as bumps, angles.. you name it. It took a few weeks for it to settle. Attractiveness was key however. Of course, this was vain. She knew it was vain but she was, no, is vain. It had to matter. Still, she did not like to dwell too much on how she went about it. She did add a few scars to her complexion. It hurt, she almost damaged her eye in the process but it was worth it. Her death, now that was fun. She remembered pacing up and down the tavern in the Cloud Temple… Just thinking. When was she going to die? Where would she die? How would she die? Now that was hard. It wasn’t easy planning your own death. Firstly, she began by finding her ‘reflection’ in essence. Such a task proved impossible of course so she left it. She instead found her cousin, Alice. She had never expected it coming. Beth had to improvise. She had to give Alice her most significant attire as well as dying her hair white. Her face was a totally different matter. It took a few agonizing minutes of torture and hammering to get the details and features out of her face. Alice was unrecognizable. Secondly, the location. Where could she dispose of ‘her’ body? The Cloud Temple? No, the monks would dispose of her quite quickly. Abresi? No, too common. They’d assume it was a decoration. Within the City of Malinor? Too crowded. Although, what about outside the gates? It was perfect. At the fourth elven hour in the morning(4am ‘Kay?!) she became cloaked and suspended the body over a large branch just outside the Malinor gates, too large to be broken or cut. As an added touch she inscribed the words… “The Bringer of Evil has come fourth and paid for her sins.” Thirdly, she left a note that remained within the grasp of her right hand. Written in simple cursive writing it read… “Dear all those who knew or heard of Beth, By now you are aware of her crimes against humanity. She has paid for her sins in blood. Her blood. For all those who have lost loved ones to this beast I am truly sorry but justice has been brought. You are safe.” For a moment Beth had a pang of emotion envelop her. Then it was gone as soon as it came. Lastly, she sent letters to a few particular individuals. ((Will be made IG)) Beth paced around in the forest, alone. What was her new name? Grace? No. Elizabeth? Are you serious? Sarah? HAHA. Perhaps if she wanted to slit her own throat then maybe. Caroline? The name played across her lips for a few moments. It was beautiful. It was innocent. It was devious, dangerous even. It was perfect. Caroline sauntered through the gates of Malinor several days later. She couldn’t help but allow a faint smile to make its way upon her face. She spoke the words in a harsh whisper. “I’m back.” ((Since it’s Christmas and the server is down I couldn’t do this in rp. So I decided to make a forum post about it. This is what has happened to Beth. Also, I’d ask that you do not make trolly posts to this. Also, please do not meta the info given in the post.))

Demotheus 651 Share Posted December 25, 2013 Daniella, in her hooded purple cloak, stares up at 'Beth's' body and narrows her eyes slightly. She glances around, and shrugs. Even if people were watching...Beth had done a terrible wrong to a dear friend. She licks her lips, her long tongue retracting into her mouth after a moment, contemplating what to do about this pathetic waste of a corpse. Perhaps the monks will bring her back...whoever did this, surely it wasn't Beth herself. Someone had strung her up on this tree for one reason or another, and Daniella is seething because of it. She wants to find this person and make sure they die, make sure they burn and boil in their own blood for doing what Daniella wanted to do, in a much more...creative fashion~ In due time... She pulls out a torch and a flint'n'steel from her robes. She lights the torch, which illuminates the night around her. She licks her lips, giggling madly. (( http://youtu.be/R-7UZzHvfPU?t=46s )) She pulls out a bottle of booze, appropriately she had chosen fire whiskey. A very strong, spicy booze conveniently named for it's current purpose. She pops the cork off with the claw of her right thumb, takes a 'healthy' swig and licks the slight moisture from her lips. "Time to burn..." She throws the bottle up at the bottom of the branch that holds 'Beth's' corpse, shattering it and soaking the body in the flammable alcohol. She twitches, focusing, taking a sharp breath in - the torch lifts from her hands with a bit of domestic magic and drifts towards a nice, good, booze soaked patch of clothing on the corpse and lights it ablaze. The flames slow-roast the apparently deceased woman. She giggles madly once more, watching, imagining her as if she were alive to experience it... ~ Fiend ~ 611 Share Posted December 25, 2013 Isabella stands nearby, half hidden behind a tree, arms stuck at her sides. She is statuesque, frozen in place with an unreadable expression as her bright golden eyes flutter over the scene. A tiny, twisted smirk plays at her lips, her tired eyes and face gaunt from the exhaustion of rushed holiday ''shopping'' completing the look of insanity- one it didn't take much for her to bear. The worst part, of course, was the gnawing at the back of her mind... the image of Laila's fake body strung up on a Roses' murder totem, and her son's words shouted in a bout of his own faltering sanity, "No one truly dies!" With a single twitch, she muttered beneath her breath, "Good riddance, *****." With a spit in her direction as the body took flame and a disdainful grunt, she was off to do her business in Malinor. Joe_Blackman 253 Share Posted December 25, 2013 "Mrgh..." Exo groans in a severely gloomy fashion, his shoulders descend sluggishly in disappointment. "That... That corpse... That corpse would've been quite valuable." He then proceeds to shake his head incredulously at the now crisped and torched, benumbed entity. "My more... Experienced brothers would've uncovered more secrets to her past, oh well... What can you do?" Exo murmurs indirectly, almost as if he were exchanging words with the air itself before finally rotating to where his back once faced, now departing from the minute scene. Bat Druid 140 Share Posted December 26, 2013 First a smirk. Then a grin. Then a frown. Then a scowl. Finally, once more it was a grin. Oropher watched in silence as 'Beth' slowly burnt. Ashes trickling to the ground bit by bit. As he watched he realized, eyes growing wider than they normally were and face going into a blank expression, tilting his head. "No one truly dies" Had become something he had said, quite a lot. As well as "Death is an illusion". He had witnessed the dead being brought back. He saw people he murdered walking about the next day, as if nothing had happened. But other had died and never returned and those people...were the ones close to him. The ones he loved died and never returned, while the ones he loathed died and returned. Maybe he was slightly mad. He dismissed the thought as he continued to watch the ashen body. Maybe for once someone would truly die. Maybe... He would see.

WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted December 27, 2013 Art hears of this news, taking it in a sobering manner. "Beth...She helped bring life into this world. She was there when Clavonita birthed our child." Art thinks this to himself of course, instead of saying it outloud like a lunatic. He's not crazy. Nope.
Aptrotta 162 Share Posted December 28, 2013 Rimtori sighs as he gazes up at the burning body, ash raining down to the ground below. "Who knew... as the Gem of the Geminines fell, so did the Diamond of the Archdiamonds..." He whispers to himself, eyes fixed on the dancing flames enveloping her body. He turns on his heel quickly beginning to stride of.
