Cappy approves, and recommends even darker skin!

I wish wood elves looked more like this all the time or atleast a little less dark.

Thank you very much!! It's one of the few skins I created from scratch and took me quite a while to get it right. Using Paint.net was a lot different than using a skin-creator that shows you it in real time haha.

I sure will try! I'm interested to see how Malinor has changed since I last saw it, specially since the server's gone through-- what? Two map changes since I've activley been on, haha.

I deffinetly agree, this is something the Application team will have to be aware of, someone stated that we shouldnt try to set this default for wood elves, but it says it right on the wiki that they are brown to coco-colored in skin.

But if that's the only thing wrong with their applications, I think a simple "Accepted, but perhaps change your skin, you're a little pale for a wood elf" is in order

Not really. People have had peach wood elves since Aegis, it's just how it's always been. I'm in favor of the 'pls have cocoa puff skin but its not required' type mentality.

Yes, and as I said the LORE, on the Wiki that you are supposed to use to make your application (Note: Make your application, what I'm saying doesn't necessarily mean long-time players must change their skin, just that new players should be aware that this is the current lore) it says that wood elves are darker skinned

I will add these skins to the Wiki Wood elf page, just so new applicants can know what type of skins to do.

 

Edit: A question, the lore states that "They are also notable for having brown eyes that are rare among other Elven sub-races", is this still true? Because of all the skins of wood elves I have seen, only one has brown eyes.

The most diverse of the elven subraces, the Wood Elves are a nimble, curious people. Their diversity stems from past history of taking in 'Cross Elves', Elves who are descendants of two different subraces. Indeed, while most Wood Elves have tan or brownish skin, there are some who have traces of High Elven heritage and have olive or rarely peach skin. Commonly, Wood Elves have either brown, blond or red hair with green, black, or brown eyes. But again, some may possess descendant traits of High Elves or Dark elves: this coupled with the unique Wood Elven individuality and willingness to alter their own forms lead to a great diversity within the race. Yet, as a whole, the average Wood Elf remains brown-skinned.

 

This is my wood elf skin. Pure wood elves are the best hands down... even though we're not pure by any means but we're the purest of the lot!

Wood elves have blonde hair and brown skin. They usually wear green colors. Often times dye their hair, and have green or blue eyes commonly. They also have BROWN skin, not tanned skin, they are well... They look like Africans or Half African/Half Whites in skin tone.
