Petyrton? Petyrton... ahhhh yes, Petyrton sounds very nice ;)

I think "Halflington" might be more accurate though, as we used to kind of avoid using the word "hobbit"... but whatevs.

Petyr, what you see before you is actually the hard labor of almost the entire race. We spent five glorious moments to come up with this complex and amazing name. We also use Hobbit more than we used to. It's no longer taboo to use around halflings. We can always come up with a new name but for now we'll stick with our completely original name

The area around Summerset Shire is The Shire. We actually only have 1 name for Summerset so IDK where you've been. If you have any questions or concerns please pm me (concerns of naming, suggestions etc.)

But as for now our name for 4.0 will be Hobbitton and The Dale for the surrounding area. I will be contacting shift soon so we can get that sorted out.

The signs that lead people to Summerset say Lenfarthing.  All over the Cloud District.  I personally changed some of the signs I had access too, but there are some that still say "New Lenfarthing."

Also, people have been using The Shire, Summerset, Lenfarthing, and New Lenfarthing in RP. So I don't know where you've been. I try and correct when I can, but we need to make sure we limit our synonyms.

I now realize that some people call us completely different names but let me be honest. It happens with everything, especially after a move. I remember people ~still~ call Kingston Salvus. And people called the elven capital (I forget the old name :-;) Malinor, when it was a completely different name. Again I say if you have any problems please PM me as this is discussing the future name.

P.S

When you say IN RP thats just it. Its in RP and there is nothing we can do about it.

I don't really see the problem with going with one of the older names. New Vale or something, I think what's more important is how it rolls off the tongue rather than it being "original". Keep the name simple and easy to say and overall have something people wouldn't mind saying in roleplay. Without letting people take the name into OOC, "Hobbiton, lol cause they're hobbits..." , ect...

Maplewood is one that I think sounds Halfling-y, but you guys choose what you want! If Hobbiton is what you want, choose Hobbiton. -SuperSodapops

That sounds more Wood Elfy,

Not sure where you're getting that I have a problem with anything... I merely pointed out that it was written in the game world on signs  as different names. I was talking about future names when you misread my post.

Oh I must've misread your post… but by problems I meant concerns or ideas to try and fix this issue.

Hobbington

Personally, I'd compromise for this name
