Henselt 9 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Hey guys, not sure if this idea has ever been pursued before, but I'm going to say this now just to clarify - this group will be dedicated to giving the Northerners a better taste of their own, cultural role-play deep in the north of Anthos. My idea was that a large entourage of Northerner settlers, pioneers and warriors embarked on a dangerous excursion to the deep and dangerous lands of the north; the far, northern reaches of Anthos, to settle down and establish a colony of sorts which would later evolve into a village, and then a town, giving the Northerners a capital within the Kingdom of Oren. I still need to flesh out the idea, but before I do, I just want to say that if anyone is interested, send me a message; I can promise you a quality role-playing experience if you decide to give this a chance! Otherwise, feedback and suggestions are completely accepted and praised by that of myself, for I am still new to this server and its universe/lore. Thanks for reading! (Also, I'm not sure if I can post interest checks or not, but here goes.) It would essentially be built to construct a bulwark; a vanguard of Northerners to show Anthos that they can prove themselves the hardy people they were, still, even after being defeated and fought back so very long ago. A cultural reclamation movement. Perhaps New Winterfell?
Lark 2226 Share Posted January 28, 2014 ((This would probably go in feedback but as far as your idea goes, I'd say go for it. I mean you'll be cut off from everyone else and have to deal with northern beasts 24/7 but at least you'll have a capital!))

Lago 2569 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Go up into the Anthos north and you'll probably die. Stay up there and you will die.
Henselt 9 Author Share Posted January 28, 2014 It would more likely be on the border (if such a border exists), acting as a base of operations for an attempt to push further into the north and repel the Undead. It doesn't have to be successful, but there is that tiny percentage of 'chance'. After all, we're all here to have fun and role-play, not play to win. A cultural reclamation movement that is hell bent on, perhaps not staying there, but recovering any traditional/ancestral heritage from the ruins of their lands, and getting out as soon as possible. More like a military advance.

More like a military advance. Not undead, Black Scourge and they have magics. But yeah, go ahead and try it! If you need help ask the Event team if you want some resistance from the North! We got Ice trolls, frost elementals, Frostbitten,..Plenty of nasties.
