(The following is simply an updated biography of my character. I plan to make this alternate account my main.)

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human, Eastern Descent 

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: -  29 (Apologies, but I had to change the age of my character not long after I joined due to conflicts with the history of those I was role playing with. Needed to make things make sense. So this part will conflict with my Server acceptance application.)

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Raigeki Kato was born in Kaedrin during its White Rose control. His father and mother went there, leaving the Old Yamamoto County after converting to the True Faith. They hoped to escape the ridicule of their neighbors due to their conversion and to find a better way of life due to their status as "Nōmin" (eastern humans, generally peasants). 

 

In Kaedrin, Raigeki grew up to be a God-fearing young boy part of the True Faith. In his household, the two most important things were the Creator, and taking up a trade. During the Kato family's stay in Kaedrin, their faith allowed them to assimilate fairly easily into the Kaedrin. Opening up a restaurant, Raigeki's father and mother (Ryuu and Akira respectively) made what would be 'peasant food' in Eastern society. Because it was not seen before in the Kaedrin area, the restaurant became very popular. Ryuu, through the support of his brother Hibiki who stayed back in Yamamoto for a few more years to get supplies for Ryuu, was able to become very well off. As he gained money, the quality of his food increased with it. Ryuu began enjoying the finer things of life along with his family. Raigeki was taught how to read and write in common tongue and took to reading parchments describing the way of eastern warriors. 

 

During Raigeki's childhood, he met up with the Rovin family. The patriarch, Jack, was a men-at-arms in the White Rose and lived with his son Voron who was a bit older than Raigeki. They quickly became childhood friends and Jack became a second father to Raigeki, teaching him how to fight. Howver, Raigeki did not take these lessons as seriously as Voron did at the time. When Raigeki became eighteen, he left his mother, father, and kid brother to start his own trade through spices. Raigeki quickly realized though that as a merchant, he was an utter failure. In a span of five years, Raigeki decided it was best he did not return to Kaedrin and went off to find Voron, who had left Kaedrin after the White Rose left. He was able to find him in Brom'Krah, where the Adunians inhabited at the time. 

 

Raigeki stayed in Brom'Krah for about a year. During his stay, there was political strife in the city and the Rovins along with their close friends made their way to Oren. Raigeki followed and started a ramen shop on in Abresi with financial help from the Rovins. Everything Raigeki's father had taught him in the family restaurant paid off and Raigeki's ramen shop took off much the same way Ryuu's Eastern Cuisine restaurant did. Raigeki thanked the Creator most of all, as his faith had lapsed in the five year time span of failure between him leaving Kaedrin and reuniting with the Rovins. He also felt indebted to the Rovins for their help. And the Rovins definitely took advantage of this.

 

Made up of trained military men, the Rovins started the Vandorian Order which would later become the Order of St. Lucien after talks with men of the clergy and Raigeki and Voron rescuing the High Pontiff Lucien II from a dread knight. Since Raigeki's reunion with the Rovins, they continued his training where he last left off and he became a decent soldier within the ranks of the Vanders, reaching the rank of "Companion". When the Vandorian Order became the Order of St. Lucien, his rank was renamed Brother-Sergeant. 

 

Raigeki realized keeping up the ramen shop was becoming a difficult task and he lost interest in becoming a success in his father's eyes after his 'cousin' Koneneme Kato (daughter of Hibiki) paid him a visit, delivering a letter stating the death of Ryuu. Ryuu had died of heart disease after years of over-eating due to the stress of not knowing where his eldest son went. At the end of the letter, it stated Raigeki was not a blood son of the Katos, though his mother and father loved him as if he was truly related. After reading the letter, who was from Akira, Koneneme informed Raigeki that his mother had taken her own life through seppuku, having failed at bringing Ryuu back to full health and the fact that the Kato fortune on their side was long gone through Ryuu's gluttony in his last years. Koneneme and Raigeki developed a "close relationship" but it was kept secret as Raigeki did not want to reveal to the surviving Katos that he was not truly related. The relationship ended a few years after it began, Koneneme wishing to explore Anthos to 'discover' herself. Raigeki currently awaits her return.

 

Raigeki's brother Akaishi ironically went to Abresi after the death of their parents and took up a crafting apprenticeship under Jeffahson Rovin which helped the two brothers reunite. Jeffahson was later killed by the Scourge, which made Akaishi more dependent on his big brother. Raigeki decided to burn down the ramen shop and blame it on the "dwarfu-chan" during the recent Human-Dwarf war. Although he was using the ramen shop as a way to prove to his father that he could be a success, he saw another way he could be a success. The True Faith was most important in his household and by working to defend mankind and those of the True Faith, he believes he can still be a success in the eyes of his deceased father and be a trusty tool of the Creator.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - ((The following paragraph is an excerpt from when he was first made: Raigeki is a rather anti-social man due to his sheltered upbringing and time spent working in his father's resturant. It is not uncommon of him to blurt out something that could be seen as rude, but this is not his fault. When drinking however, Raigeki becomes more bubbly and active than his sober self. At times of frustration, Raigeki has a bad temper and is known to flash his anger on those he's familiar with. Other than this, Raigeki is a very respectable and humble man, qualities picked up from working at the resturant and representing his family when he was younger. ))

 

Raigeki is still quite anti-social when it comes to day to day things. He's found a niche however through religion and business where he feels most comfortable talking. Since joining the Order of St. Lucien, Raigeki has given up his unhealthy over-drinking of sake and wine and is more conservative when it comes to drinking overall. He's much more disciplined then he once was and follows the laws of Oren ritualistically. Raigeki, though more disciplined with a much more calm demeanor, has flashes of anger especially in war or when face to face with an enemy. Particularly heretics and dwarves though as of recent, he met a neutral dwarf he grew fond of and wished to convert him to the True Faith. Raigeki remains a shining example of respect though and stays humble despite his officer rank in the Order of St. Lucien.

What are their ambitions?: -  ((The following paragraph is an excerpt from when he was first made:Raigeki's ambitions are rather mixed. Part of him wishes to appease his father's wishes in order to prove his worth to the Kato Family while another part of him wishes to find a meaningful purpose to exist and that perhaps he can find other ways to be successful.))

 

Raigeki successfully ran a business, appeasing his father's wishes of him. However, upon learning of his father's demise, Raigeki sought for something more to life once more. And through the Rovin Family, Raigeki strengthened his dedication to the Creator and believes he has found his place in society, a warrior of the Creator. Currently, Raigeki wants nothing more than to bring peace by defending mankind from those who threaten them and to spread the word of the Creator. He also wants to become a Holy Knight of the Church soon.

Do they have any special skills?: -  Raigeki has become a skilled warrior since his time as a Vander to a Brother Sergeant in the Order of St. Lucien. He continues to cook, but instead of profit he feeds the soldiers of the order. Raigeki also has a thing for business now, though he's donated his wealth to the Church and to the current King of Oren as he hopes to become a Holy Knight of the Church soon.

What are their weaknesses?: - Through hard work and pursuit of becoming something in life, Raigeki's training has brought him somewhere beyond his previous hair pulling tactics. But with this newfound skill, other weaknesses arise:

 

-Raigeki's religion. Although Raigeki finds strength in his faith, it often times gets him into trouble. In recent years he's been attacked by necromancers, Harbingers on several occasions, and dwarves. Although Raigeki is a skilled warrior, he's far from being the best and with all these threats to him, he's at risk of not accomplishing much.

 

-Raigeki's developing Post-traumatic stress disorder. After the kidnapping of a harbinger by the Lucienists, Decterum, and Vekons, they were pursued and Abresi was attacked. The battle lasted about ten days and Raigeki saw many of his brothers in arms die before him. Having survived the battle, he remembers all the pain the scourge caused as has been psychologically messed up from it. Raigeki feels guilty that he survived while many others didn't. He's become emotionally cold which adds on to his anti socialness outside of religion and business.

 

Raigeki's anti-socialness. What was a problem for him at a young age carries on as he reaches near thirty. After becoming a military man and having many near death experiences, Raigeki is not very optimistic about what is to come with the frequent scourge attacks. This anti-socialness might push people away from him and when he needs someone, who knows if anyone will be there to pick him back up.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Raigeki is a man of eastern descent. He is light complected with almond shaped dark brown eyes and a wide, somewhat flat nose. Raigeki has upper-back length black hair and usually wears a red bandana over his head. After joining the Order of St. Lucien, he's grown a goatee and commonly wears a kimono with marks of the Kaedrini cross showing his loyalties to the true faith. He's 5'5, which is actually ABOVE average for eastern humans (they're average is apparently 5'4, go figure :P.)

Anything else you want to say about them?: - 

Not really. I kind of want to apologize to whoever reviews this application though. Thing is, I joined in mid-november and I never thought I'd have so much character development this fast. Kind of funny. Anyway, yeah sorry this is long.
