Suggestion number one; Try to eliminate the stereotype that the Humans have, granted I know it's a minority of the race but it is something I believe that you should try to do. or Suggestion number two; New king. Sky 0 Share Posted February 11, 2014 i dont get it I was being serious, simply added a joke in there to lighten what I said but if I need to paint the picture. The most common stereotype of Oren is being "Trolls", which to be honest the word is thrown around a bit too much, and being PvP fanatics. I simply suggest trying to fix the "Troll" part, I don't know how to be honest, but it is something that needs to be changed and as soon as you are able to! As for the PvP thing, well I can completely understand why you do choose this, I have been in a lot of situations where the other use (for some reason it is always a mage...) powergames to hell and I simply want it over and done with. Knox213 10 Author Share Posted February 11, 2014 I cannot "force" people to rp default, how they choose to roleplay is entirely up to them, solving/trying to fix this would be very difficult, as for the "trolls" I haven't actually come across any as of late, except for the group known as "house thorne" who are, in no way associated with Oren. It's a shame really to see the human nation scare so many potential citizens off due to that problem. Try to change the current culture that "Winning" Lotc is your goal. And instead attempt, with the power Oren currently have, to create fun roleplay that EVERYONE can participate in. That whole idea that the one with the most land is the best needs to be gone too. And that does not count solely for you, but a lot of other people/groups too. There's potentially so many good things in Oren, but it've drowned in that strange mentality that currently is in use. One a traveling gambler, and the other an infected peseant. Both are pretty much KOS'd by guards in Abresi. I would also like to add, I broke no laws with the traveling gambler. PM me their names, i'll have words. @ Jens, there is plenty of roleplay to be found in Oren, just because we are fighting in certain wars does not make us non-roleplaying population. But your feedback is appreciated. There are weekly events held within Oren thanks to the work of Senda and everybody else getting involved to help. bickando 3967 Share Posted February 11, 2014 My opinion, as a former Human role-player that did it quite extensively for one or so years, think that it's slipping back into noble-based rp that makes its rp more decentralized, taking away from what Havenok did by removing almost every village and town and removing nobles.
