Nathan_Barnett36 1564 Share Posted February 11, 2014 *STRELT MAKE POSITIVE POST!* Oren overall is a good place to roleplay. Amazing towns such as Kralta are good to roleplay in. It's peaceful in Kralta. Abresi however is said to be the most active town in Oren. My only complaint is that Abresi's guard forces are not active anymore. This means Abresi is unprotected. I also agree on the military one. But overally Oren is progressing slowly but effectively.
WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted February 11, 2014 My only feedback is that you rush roleplay, and you do not spend much time elaborating on forum posts. If you do not convey your disposition, it leaves people wondering what type of person you are. You do not do a very good job at showing your character's personality. This is just a criticism, and I am not bashing you for it. I feel that your character is just a tool, and this is because most of what you do, you do offline. You do very little in character. This is a fault with most of Oren's previous leaders, and it may be why they all quit unceremoniously. If you are stressed by the title, you may need to break up power by giving Senda more to do. Don't push yourself to do everything. Yup, this I get this is just a game. But your leaders I think should actually take things more seriously, especially on the forums. Make things less about **** measuring and more about just Rp. That's just what I think lots of people want. I recently got into rping with The Lucienists and I think they're a stellar group so I'm not generalizing
Vekrus 396 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Knox, if you get some time I would really like it if you could message me on Skype. I have some ideas that I was going to implement through my rebellion and all, but seeing the sad OOC/Troll disrupt that came with it I would like to now help you improve Oren as much as possible without the rebellion. I think more than ever we are in need of some continual change to Oren and we can't just stop now. We gotta keep pushing what Cracker started. So hit me up and I will share some feedback/ideas. Lago 2572 Share Posted February 11, 2014 I'd recommend putting an end to the elf conflict. Ally them and help them deal with their bandit problem. Directly opposing the bandits may also polarise out subversive elements within the Oren hierachy. I'd also do what you can to tackle the murder culture. Heavy punishment for killing another, even a foreigner, in Oren should help with this. Although not punishing them with death, because A: LotC Death is pointless and B: that's propagating the problem. Finally, the main problem I've had with Oren (and being in Oren) for the last few months is it feels hostile. You walk into Abresi and even if you're a human you feel unwelcome. Partly this was due to a few months back guards such as Nathan_Barnett (I'm sure he's matured by now) that swore at and insulted people because they could giving a very negative tone to the city. At least professional if not polite conduct from the city guard to non-offenders does wonders for a city.
ToenailTickler 290 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Okay one minor thing. Put a High Pontiff who is active, and it's their main. Not saying Aetosian is doing a bad job, but priest RP after Haribo's time has fallen a LOT. That is all. One way to fix it is to completely purge the church and put a competent person in charge of it. But that's like a last ditch effort. I'd be willing to come back with a priest character, but look for someone better.
Lago 2572 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Put the Church in Abresi, not off in Furnestock or some other forgotten corner of Oren.

Evilbanana5757 154 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Oren has improved a bunch and your own leadership (from what I can see) is exactly what it needs right now... so keep it up! :D

Jachnun 566 Share Posted February 12, 2014 The most amount of killing should be taking place in Wars and the battlefield - not the street of a city. 1. Get your Guards to all know their stuff. 2. Start using language as a cultural tool - it's very powerful. Orcs have Blah, Dwarves have their secret language, Elves have...Elvish, and even the Anadunai have Anadunie. What language do Humans have? I mean, you /can/ use Google translate then PM the English translation. 3. Flaunt your culture hardcore, there's nothing wrong with doing that. But - Flaunting does not mean violent spread of it. Be proud of it, but not enough to kill a man over it. Trust me. The guards know their stuff. They are trained (if thats what you mean by stuff?) Will (TauFirewarrior) 2466 Share Posted February 12, 2014 Han the humans have a language. Its called the common tongue. Not everyone has to steal Google Translate languages
