Just PVP. It solves all your interpretive text fighting problems.

Stop taking things instantly into OOC.

Try to adapt to PvP a little, not all but just a little.

Also, stopping assuming that I hate you...

I hate you for doing that.

"Doth mine eyes deceive me...?"

Nope, when OOC bickering arises PVP is the way to go.

less edgies, more wood elves for a wood elven town

When we kill the edgies they just come back and say 'sup back whadimiss'. It's not as bad as you'd think really. We have far far less special snowflake villain than new Malinor did, but we're definately working on improving it.

A word of advice to everyone in Lenniel. Stop playing villains and try to play a normal character who doesn't naturally draw attention to himself/herself. Get a job and let his personality and uniqueness develop naturally. It's a good way to not be called 'edgy'.

The taxes thing deters me from living in Lenniel anymore.

Lenniel isn't New Malinor. We are trying to be an actual functioning society, not an RP hub where everyone conglomerates and absolutely nothing meaningful is accomplished. Get a job, join the guard, do something to get an income and pay your taxes.

1. This is why we have the Mali Ethic, and use banishment alot more frequently than killing someone. If someone has to RPly go get a limb fixed (If they go through with it and don't just reset as soon as we let them go..) it can make for interesting RP for them aswell.

2. Aye- If you were privy to the council chat, we're trying to tax as little as possible in order to pay the guard, pay for supplies, AND pay workers. For a while I was literally paying for things out of my own pocket untill I had to go to the other Laurir's to be able to pay for supplies or pay our guards.

I enjoy Leanniel though building could definitely use home help. Also the last two times I came there was fights going on which I intervened in but some people would be very rude and bully me for something about PvP even though I was rping : (

If you want, you can PM me about that and I'll try to sort it out. And I agree that the builds can be worked on. I like the style, personally, but we're welcome to advice or assistance.

On the OOC side, you're all very nice people! My one concern is that you all take things into OOC too quickly, instead of trying to solve the issue IC. There can be complaining (mainly with the antags and raids), and I just think a good, calm discussion would be alright, instead of venting the issues to people who have already heard the argument fifty times.

But I digress, you're doing excellent.

Less 'QQ' would be nice.

We'll be working on this. Please be patient and receptive.

A couple people have mentioned edgies. I can't really think of anyone who lives in Leanniel that I'd call edgy, although the word's definition might have changed on me again. We can't do much about outsiders who cause trouble aside from kick them out, as Dwyn said, but perhaps you could elaborate on what you mean?

I'd recommend more custom/varied looks in the trees. It takes more effort, but it would improve the look. Maybe for 4.0?

For right now, we should really get working on the Mother Stump.

What we need is a nice tall durable stone wall surrounding the whole town in 4.0. Inside can be as treeloving nature as you like, but tall stone walls. We need them, no way around them.

Elves need to evolve beyond flimsy flammable wood for their defenses.

Double post but w.e.

For all you hockey fans think of it this way:

**** teams like the Edmonton Oilers are at the bottom of the standings, always getting their asses handed to them. But they're in a state of rebuilding. With some young talent and a proper long term plan, as well as a few seasons of development, they can be back in the game as contenders again. Same goes for elves

I can't take advice from hockey-watchers.

But tbh, I really love the rp lenniel gives, we just need to find a way to keep us from being subject to all the raid parties.

Elderwood dome.

Tough, fireproof trees. In a dome.
