Thats fine but now that the rule is "clarified!!" how am I supposed to fight off dem' powergamers and orcs. I couldn't kill one ***** orc my entire time on the server in a rp fight, its too op

Sorry hun, but are you implying you have never once powergamed or metagamed? I'm pretty sure we all have to some degree at some point. Better not just throw out BRs to ban every poor sod now, eh, hun?

Wait, so if your side has the majority you can force Powergame Combat? Not sure I like the sound of that. Wholeheartedly agree with the rule that a fight in progress can't be switched, but this allows Powergame Combat to be forced. A combat form that requires both sides to mutually agree on the winner is just about the worst way possible to resolve a dispute between two players or groups that are not cooperating OOC.

At any rate, we need to cap numbers. Forcing Powergame Combat on a large scale fight is just going to lead to a cluster**** OOC argument.

Lago, I love your term for it. It's pretty true as well. 

 

I don't like having valuable hours of my busy life being soaked up by typing out attacks with someone who has no idea of basic physics, anatomy, or how a weapon works dodging everything. Down with the Powergame Combat. I would rather have it done in under a minute with many clicks than have to face down a roving powergaming edge-clique for 3 hours in Powergame Combat.
