Hello all ye faithful. This is intended as both an OOC questionnaire and an IC one. If you have OOC questions, leave them below in an OOC form. If you have questions from your character to the church, make an rp post in response to this.

Any questions you have about the Church of the True Faith will be answered as swiftly as possible by a member of the clergy.

Father Cordal Winter walks about the new Imperial city of Kaldonia, crying the news for all to hear. His voice carries from the nobleman's district, to the imperial palace, and aye, to the market district and peasant homes.

"Hear ye, faithful of Oren! The Church of the True Faith is now accepting letters from the laity of any followers of the True Faith. Send your questions to the Chapel of St. Adeodatus here in this holy city of Kaldonia! Deus Magnus, Godani jiest wielki, and Dieu le veut!"

OOC Questions:

What requirements is set to a person joining the Clergy?

What 'is' the Clergy

How does the clergy handle religious reformed communities?

Requirements in role-play are what you'd expect of a priestly individual. No sex, no marriage, no sinful things and such. It takes a bit of time to get ordained, so you must be expected to have patience.

The Clergy is the priestly group that is the lifeblood of the Church of the True Faith, the Faith of Oren. They hold sermons and other important functions. The High Pontiff, head of the Clergy, crowns the king.

Explain what you mean by religious reformed communities, if you would.

Is there the following prayers and if not, is it under development?:

1. The Rosary.

2. Last Rites for a Heretic on death-row.

3. Conversion of Pagans.

4. A prayer similar to 'Father, Son, Holy Spirit'

5. Purging corruption out of an individual.

6. Healing a companion, or praying for the ill.

Also is there a set time that the bible will be finished by? Now that Pius has been booted out I am not certain if there is anymore development on the religious texts.

Is there going to be a schedule set for masses? As there has been a prevalent absence of such events.

Finally, can a Knight of the Order obtain priesthood whilst maintaining their position within the Order?

Yes most of these are being finalized.

and for Draeris, the mentioned groups, have nothing to do with Church of the True Faith and share hardly any similarities.  They where never part of it in any shape or form. Nor are they religion that are popular. So they are heresy's until such a time there is a connection sent to the High Pontiff from these religions.

Your religion and the Church of the True Faith is nothing like Protestantism and Catholicism. Protestantism broke off from Catholicism for various reasons but still has the same core beliefs that are shared throughout Christianity. Your religion and the Church of the True Faith are completely different. Two different religions.

[[With the new Church of the Reformed Communion, clergy now have the ability to get married. The name has also been changed from High Pontiff to High Patriarch. I understand your reply is already dated, Casual, but I just want to make sure we're not confusing any new readers.

Seek out the "Seeking Scriptures" thread to better answer your questions and then present you with an opportunity to compose your own pieces for the Church.

Where can I find information about the saints of the church?

Otherwise, could some be listed, as well as the virtues they embody?

Abel Godwin drops a small note off at the Petrus parish in hopes that his question might be answered:

"How might a heritic who uses illegal magics have his magic stripped from him?"

Bishop Kristoff gets the note. He pins another outside the church. "To whomever asked 'How might a heretic who uses illegal magics have his magics stripped from him?' I believe if you cut the scum's hands he can not use his magic."

Are Druidism and Creatorism mutually exclusive? I think Aspects are just 'aspects' of the Creator, right? But would it still fall under heretic stuff for the church?
