Braidek isn't sure about the weighting.

Hiebe would explain that it would.make clans more active and work rply towards goals and to improve their clan standings

Zahrer thinks this would kill rp of smaller clans when he gets news of it while very sick in bed.

"Isn't this a rip-off from the future Human system?" A human asks, passing through the Dwarven city.

Hiebe would note that this was made up by him and a very special dwarfy helper.

He would also note that smaller clans will actually start recruiting to.compete then

((I really feel the need to point out that 'having a system copied by another nation' is not bad. Far from it, it is about the biggest praise one can get.

The dwarves copied the tax system as well. Thats not bad, thats great. Let them use things that are proven to work towards promoting roleplay.

We, the people on this server, should nod in appreciation towards people that choose to implement systems like this.

Let them have fun. Means a more active Dwarven nation for us Oreners to interact with.))

"Isn't this a rip-off from the future Human system?" A human asks, passing through the Dwarven city.

Braidek points out that the fourth wall RPG company Wizards of the Coast invented it first.

Hiebe would explain that it would.make clans more active and work rply towards goals and to improve their clan standings

Braidek understands the aim but points out some of the weightings he's not sure about:

If no clan genealogy or inaccurate genealogy: -100

Braidek isn't sure about this one at all. History and sigil are fair enough but this is more of an RP constraint than an RP buff.

Living member of more than one eighth non-dwarven ancestry: -25per

Living member of more than one quarter non-dwarven ancestry: -50per

Living member of at least one half non-dwarven ancestry: -75per

Living member non-Dwarven member (adoptions included): -100per

Braidek feels this unfairly targets people.

  1. Legion

    1. Clan does not have at least one member of command rank: -100

    2. Clan has more than two members of command rank: +50

    3. Clan has less than five members of military rank: -100

  2. Militia

    1. Clan cannot raise at least five fighting men: -25 per below five

    2. Clan can raise more than fifteen fighting men: +5

Braidek feels this flies in the face of trying to diversify dwarven activity to more than just the Legion. He feels this drives the dwarves towards their former setup of being 5 dwarves most of the time and 75 when a war starts.

Braidek thinks the system has promise but isn't happy about the weightings. He offers to rewrite them.
