The Sacking of Kaldonia

The Mouth of Dungrimm, the recent hub of industry, war and controversy, today rather than being shadowed by a sea of armoured Orenians was shadowed only by the natural arch scaling above the clouds. The mouth harboured a great army, for the coming together of the Fringe had anchored the best warriors of all the lands to begin their march of retribution. Today, they planned to sack Kaldonia.

Initially the force consisted of Urguan-Fenn-Alrasian Forces, though they were

soon joined by the Sariants of the Teutonic Order, the Uruks of Krugmar and the freed men of Oren. Onwards they marched upon the city of Kaldonia, home to the tyrannical Peter Chivay and his Imperium of mishaps. The land between the cloud temple and Kaldonia was flooded with the iron of the united forces, their heavy steel symbolising the freedom of the fringe. Their goal - To stop the unholy crusade of Oren before it had yet left its forsaken walls.

As the Forces of the Krughanistan Bloc marched through Vekaro, the Orenians stationed there quickly fled in cowardice back towards their capital of Kaldonia. Yet none could stop the advance of the alliance. They pushed onwards into the poor district, slaughtering any man of Oren who stood in their way. By the time they had breached into the noble district, the Orenians had already barricaded themselves into the Imperial keep. The dwarves then raised siege ladders up towards the walls of the city, as warriors of every race slowly made their way up the mountainside, their plan to enter the heart of the Third Empire.

When the Forces of the Krughanistan Bloc had reached the castle, the Sariants had already cut down the remaining humans. The survivors immediately fled in full retreat towards the Silverblade keep. Yet the city was won, and the invading forces had already began to rampage the Imperial Keep and set aflame the banners of the Imperium.

Smoke rose from above Kaldonia as the forces of the Krughanistan Bloc travelled back to Vekaro victorious. There they repelled yet another raid from the Orenians, seeking vengeance for the sacking. In return, the dwarves and Teutonic Order, accompanied by human rebels crept into the High Elven city, slaughtering those who awaited inside. Butchered by the very enemy they scorned upon. Yet again, Oren attempted a counter attack and yet again, their men were routed and annihalated. A rich stench of blood filled the air as the forces of the Krughanistan Bloc made their way home to Kal’Arkon in victory.

Thersist looks to 'Kaledonia', single tear rolling down his cheek. Shaking his head, he turns and re-enters Kaldonia, the Imperial Capital.

David remembers the slaughter after the allied forces retreated from the city when the most majestic Emperor lead a charge that butchered their forces. A clear victory for Oren.

Some say near the fields of the High Elves a single man dressed as a horse... or perhaps a horse dressed as a man, runs about flailing his arms about in the air in victory, armor bloodied and scratched as it stood the tests of battle.

"Naaaaayy!"

The thing roars out. It begins to let out clopping noises from under its helmet, the strange being swiveling about in the fields for a moment before running off into the sunset.

Two on looking peasants look to each other before shrugging, on speaking up.

"Weird lookin' mercenarehs around these parts, now-a-days."

They nod affirmatively to each other before shuffling off.

The Marshal and the rest of the Imperium Tertius follow suit.
