This thread is for you to state which GMs and Team Leaders you believe are doing a good or bad job. An example of being good is moderating the server, stopping OOC conflicts, and dealing with situations well. An example of a Bad Team leader/GM is one who does not moderate well, has trouble dealing with OOC conflicts, have an over-the-top temper, and dealing with situations badly. This thread goes as following: -Put the GM & Team Leader names who you believe are excellent as blue- -Put the GM & Team Leader names who you believe you are good as green- -Put the GM and Team Leader Names who you believe are mediocre as Yellow- -Put the GM & Team Leader names who you believe are bad put as Red- -Put the GM & Team Leader names who you believe are horrendous as Orange- If you decide to place a GM/Team Leader in Red or Orange, please give a reason in your post. If you place a GM/Team leader in orange, then you must have a reason. Keep in mind that some GMs have real life things to do which limits their activity. This is a thread for blunt opinions. If someone doesn't like a GM then they should just walk out and say it instead of whispering in their TS3 chats behind the curtains (There is a good number who do). If you don't wish to speak your opinion about a GM/team leader (giving reasons why certain GMs are good too if you wish) to possibly have it solved by the GM/teamleader then don't post. Tadmonster 54 Share Posted June 5, 2014 I won't pretend we all think all the GMs are equal, but this doesn't promote strong management, and let me offer an explanation why, not just "THIS IS TROLLY" and "FLAME". 1. I feel as if people appreciate GMs who are kinder and care less, just as we see the teachers who don't care as "cool". However, the one GM to tell me off has been 30326, and my experience has changed for the better on the server. However, if I was just told off by him, chances are, I would end up giving him an Orange rating, saying he screwed me over. However, I now see that thanks to him, my RP experience is so much richer and more fun. 2. People judge GMs on how they make the judge feel at that moment, rather than looking forward. As I stated above, the most influential GM I have met is 30326, yet I get more daily help from Zarsies and Frottimer (both of whom I adore). So most people would state that Zarsies and Frottimer are the best in my situation. However, in the longterm, the little lessons, even about life, that 30326 taught me in 30 minutes of talking to him have changed my RP lifestyle, and my lifestyle out of LotC. To conclude, if action is taken based on these polls, some of the best GMs will get hurt, because they cause the most infuriating immediate damage. And who else comes to rate GMs poorly, but the ones most recently hurt. I feel as if this is not an accurate portrayal of how hard and how effective the GMs are, as they are judged by those who have had profound reactions with them, and profound, unfortuneatly, often means poor. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
