why is he brown

It's just how the skin turned out~ There were no specifications on his skin tone, be it tanned from the sun, naturally darker, paler, or naturally lighter. I simply made the skin how I imagined it. I can change it should OP wish the skin tone to be different.

Um, so checking back, he's quite pale. Scottish Highlanders aren't known for tanning.
