From my own view , Mali'Fenn are like the really bullied children in school. No-one can change the fact that they're getting the piss taken out of them besides the teachers.

 

Mali'Fenn aren't going to get a better name after a long time of being laughed out , just my two cents.

Personally, from an OOC point of view, the Elven peoples have been split for far too long.  And now, now that the Elves are finally getting a sense of unity, the Snow Elves seek to separate themselves into a city-state with less that a 1/10th the population.  Why not, after peace is settled of course, join the other Elven cousins?  A united Elven nation is the only thing with a large enough population to rival the Humans after all.

Legitimately, I'm 100% in support of people making their own cultures and RP. You guys might not think I like you for making snow elves OOC, but that isn't the case, I love you for it— You're making activity for the server. However, some things I'd advise to help you out:

 

• Solidify the snow elf lore. Right now the lore is weak and we don't know what snow elves are meant to look like: Thus the high elves want to purge you all for being impure little potatoes. Which is true, but you can make it less severe by making snow elven lore widely known.
• If you want people to stop hating you IC: You guys have to go to the other people you incited the ire of and try to get their forgiveness. Small nations with big enemies don't get forgiven easily.
• It is possible to get people to stop hating you IC if you stop provoking them IC and deal with their grievances.
• You're dwarven players right now. Diversify and become distinct or continue being the land of "That's where dwarves go when they want to play dwarf-elves".
• As great as the "Glorious Fenndom" posts are; Every single post in the elven forums doesn't need a comment on it about the mali'fenn.
• Admit your mistakes and work from them. Accusing a raid party of dirt pillaring in when you know we didn't doesn't help you. If you made a mistake, learn from it.
• If you're elves, act like you're infertile.
• Remember you're not a sub-race.
• You have too many titles. I agree that titles are important: They enfranchise people to play your race but if you have too many people with titles it becomes boring.
• The power mechanism in the Princedom is too strong. You can eject the dwarven king many ways, you can eject the human king many ways (by killing him— As they tend to honour deaths). You can throw the Sohaer out of Haelun'or by challenging him IC. You can throw the Rex out of Krugmar by beating him up. The Fenndom has an impassible power mechanism: Enfranchise your players by making it possible to change their government. Then you have proof of things: 1. The players in your nation like your leader if they don't overthrow him 2. You're granting opportunities for change.
• I love you guys, but if your forum post is a thought emote or intentionally antagonistic you're not using the forums properly i.e. "Thurak would note the Ivae'fenn" or is antagonistic in nature "Kael'daenor is currently in the infirmary from laughing".
• You're not larger than the other elven nation. You can pretend it IC, but accept it OOC.

Snow Elves are a dwarf splinter group rather than an elven one. They were made and run by ex-dwarven players and were never part of the elven playerbase to start with.

One last suggestion good sir: Use the feedback forum for feedback: Clogging the elven RP forums with high-responce OOC threads is undesirable.

Concerning rejoining the elves, I'm all for an alliance with the elves and I would love to be a member of the elven nation again but neither me nor any of my people want to leave our city and live in some little district

Remember that you have to actually implement feedback for it to work. Posting a feedback thread for the sake of posting one accomplishes nothing. SupremacyOps' on the first page sums up everything I've ever thought to say. Depose your leader; he's bringing you down as a community.

I agree with Supremacy, unfortunately. Anyone who's been around at about the start and end times of the Graven glory days would know I have a personal dislike of him, so please... Don't accuse me of bias, I'm anything but. I legitimately agree with him. He sums up about anything that can be said, anything that can and should be done.

Did you know this is the second variation of snow elves? The first ones are known as feral elves, which attacked the dwarves enmass around this time last year, under the Ondrach event.

 

You could look into that lore (I think 30326 has it) and see if that can strengthen your position.

This is actually a legit suggestion (The original idea comes from Jistuma, who wrote their lore. I contributed some magic you guys might find interesting— Which is mech-standard too!). It might be useful to ask Jistuma, who has it all.
