Advice On Roleplay

Just don't stress about a character. In my experience, the best characters to start as are children, because they are blank slates with no real goal until their parents begin to effect them.

If that doesn't work, give it a small break.

However, you could always praise Baa. I find Baa is the best.

Play a character that attracts roleplay.

I like my bard guy, cause I'm guaranteed roleplay pretty much. Find a profession or something that will allow you to interact with strangers. And make a character off that.

Play a race that fits your personality best. Always play a race that suits you OOCly and will make you friends so that roleplay would be more enjoyable. If you are a literature guy and enjoy the fine aspects of high quality roleplay, a High Elf is a great race to play. If you like joking around with subtle trolling (but good roleplay), join the Humans. If you like goofing around in LotC, join the Halflings. Find your niche and roll with it.

Trying a Dark Elf right now, see how that works.

Never tried playing a child before. Never saw the appeal to it, but to be fair, never tried it. So I might just do that, too.
