What Happen To The Server?

Hello, I doubt that many of you remember me but I use to play on the sever a lot back during Aegis, in my words I would say the "golden age" things were amazing, the map wasn't too big, kings road was so much fun seeing bandits and guardsmen running around always, there would be shops with people everywhere. It was active, it would always consist of like 200 players in game.

 

I come back a few years later and see that the server died down and things aren't how they use to be. I come back just to ask why, what happen? what was the main killer of the server? I think things can always be resolved and fixed back to there glory ages.

It's the Fringe. When 4.0 comes, things will (supposedly) get much better. Don't sweat it man.

I actually remember PMing you because you seemed very in-charge when I was new, and I was trying to figure out something (no idea what it was, but you were pretty confused by my noobiness.) As for server activity, the temp map has thrown a wrench in things, but 4.0 is just around the bend, and that will spike up the number of active players again.

I hope so, honestly just from what I saw, I would bring back a redone version of Aegis, or something around that size again. It seems like these days the map is way to big in my opinion.

Every Temp. Map the server gets quite bad in the numbers of people online.  But every time a new map, a full map, comes out, the server caps within the next 2 hours for the next 4 weeks.

I remember Nical and that was such a mess, lol but no regrets I had so much memories with the Nical Empire

Maturity killed this place. People grew up and started living their lives while playing on here, and the personality of the majority changed a good deal. It's going to revive, but I doubt Aegis will ever come back, just because of the community change.

Like how Asulon came after 4.0, 4.0 is the map after '3.0', third major map after Aegis. And so on.

if it is I hope they fixed the large scale of the map and such etc, honestly id do anything to go back in time two years ago and play on this server again! that sounds super nerdy of me but I dont care hahah Aegis was amazing.

What are you even talking about. We've been receiving updates of 4.0 and it's overall progress. There's still an update above posted by shiftnative on the very top of the page. 4.0 is right around the corner.

How lotc has changed from Aegis.

 

We moved from many maps.

 

I like large maps becuase theres a lot of plpaces to adventure.

 

Pvp is default, thank god.

 

Va's are removed, okay choice.

 

4.0 should have been out this week but no. 

 

3.5 is even more boring than call of duty.
