Wolf Druid Ouity 1461 Share Posted July 1, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTri6Rf4rVU&list=LLVMm2Vm-B_soTKTu5LHBkjA&index=35 Grave faces watch attentively in the moot room of the Druids' Grove. Despite such short notice, every seat is filled, and every voice silent, save that of the Wolf Druid, who stands in the center of the room. "They assault us, hunt us, kill us like beasts. They declare war on Nature itself." His eyes slowly scan the room. A Dedicant once commented that they did not see how the man's totem could be wolf, wise and kind in the peace of the Grove merely an elven week past. Here is the Wolf. His face was a mask of anger, eyes like flint as he surveyed the faces of his brothers and sisters. Here was the war maker, who had lain dormant for so long. "Only a dead man declares war against Nature." Ouity hisses, eyes meeting those of each individual Druid in the room. "The dead man, and he who wishes to die. The madman Kalenz has gone too far this time." The other Druids spoke then, adding their chorus of agreements and promises of retribution. Only the Dove Druid, Elorna's stayed absent from the chorus as she rose to speak. Ouity moved aside politely, listening as the good elf begged the others for peace. As they speak up, one by one, it becomes clear that the Druidic Order is unyielding to Elorna's pleas. The Druids would no longer grovel at the feet of the High Elven vulture. This straw had been one too many, and everyone in the room knew it. In the end, it was decided. Another Elven day; one last grasping hand for peace. Elorna rushed out, towards the Silver City as the Druids scrambled. One more day to determine the fate of the Druidic Order, perhaps for decades to come. The Druids insisted that no moves would be made until Elorna's return, and that they would make every effort to remain neutral. However, as walls of thorn and wood rose up around the Grove, and the Druids traded stave for sword, one could not help but think that these were the faces of men ready for war.

The Media Wizard 2958 Share Posted July 1, 2014 Timothy sighs softly, slipping on his new SAS gear and readying the Battle Pig. "Lads, th' Halflin' SAS squad is at yer side. I jus' wish this could end wit'out violence..." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Azoth stands atop the Dwarven cliffs, Alras behind him as he stares off towards the Elves in the distance, almost visibly seeing the smog from their anger and maliciousness rise into the sky... WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted July 1, 2014 A letter with grimly formal writing is drafted to Ouity "Dear Ouity, You're not soldiers. You're hippies. Most of you aren't able bodied. You have children, petite women, halflings, cripples and other such individuals incapable of fighting. Your pride makes you want to show the big bad system that you won't back down without a fight. Let me tell you what will happen. Your 'army' of non combatant families will burn alive in their conveniently flammable homes under the might of Oren and Haelun'or. Or if you manage to garner the help of the Krughanistan bloc, you will simply start another massive war the fringe has already seen too much of, except in this case, your grove will be the biggest target. Your members will not be safe to wander alone anywhere. You will be picked off like flies. You think you can win this war because you are prideful and you believe you've been wronged. In truth you are stupid. The high elves are stupid. Except the high elves are stupid and have a big army to back it up. You do not. Accept the terms of peace and don't drag yourself and your family into a war. I have never tried to get in between you and Isabella but if you make her and her children the target of High Elven and Orenian malice because of your bullheaded pride so help me not hell nor anything in this green earth will stop me from severing you two. With your arrogance you are doing the single most selfish thing any father can do, putting your family in harms way for your ego. I have laid down my arms to enemies before and I have surrendered before. I have swallowed my pride and my family still lives. I suggest you do the same. Sincerely, Artimec, a dirty moral-less void slinger."

We are many, and we have more than just our bodies to defend ourselves, indeed, Nature is a powerful ally. "We believe that we have been wronged." I do not believe that this warrants a reply. Perhaps whatever stole your memory took a bit of your brain with it. What is the madman worth to your people, Artemic? Why would you allow him free reign over innocent lives in his delusional grabs for power? Why do your people not rise up as we may have to, and end his rule once and for all? He only has as much power as the Elves give him. The power hungry swords of Oren rally behind the insane one, but they and a select few High Elves are his only allies, and the Elves have been blinded by his brainwashing. Throw off the shackles of subdivision and madness the High Elves have inflicted upon your people, and tear down the Silver Walls. Ouity Deathsbane PS- If you dare to threaten the unity of my family again, there will be nowhere you can hide from me. I expect that any future writings you send to me will not mention my wife again, nor any intention to use force to separate us, or by the Aspects, I will make you beg for death.
DrakeHaze. 2524 Share Posted July 1, 2014 Rex Grogmar leans against the elder tree as he awaits for the decision to be made. He looks about to the other Orcs who are ready for the High Elves to be scared of a few hippies and force Oren into the conflict once more. His body tenses as his blood boils, he tries to shake the feeling but cannot "Unleh agh rat lyke da Hygh Albai kan bi skared uv sutch dozyle tingz zutch az droodz." he chuckles lowly, shifting his head against the tree "Agh mi nub tink dat Orehn wuld ztoop su luw az tu klomp droodz. "Firstly my name is Artimec. I am no fan of Kalenz, but let me tell you why I am on his side right now. It's not out of respect for him and it's not because I've been brainwashed. No. I am with Haelun'or because Haelun'or is currently safer than your grove. Haelun'or has an army at it's back with enough fire and steel to turn any amount of vines or trees you can control into ash. I don't think you understand no matter how much we lose you are going to lose more. I am on Haelun'ors side because it has walls to keep my family safe. They will not come to harm in here. For every ounce of whatever power your aspects grant you we have just as much we can call from the void. We have individuals whom specialize in cutting off all connection between a patron and his servant. You won't win this fight. If you choose to fight you'll start another civil war which will simply plunge the entire world back into the chaos we experiences not so long ago with those daily raids. PS: I meant every single word I wrote about dragging Isabella away should you choose to plunge her into a world of pointless violence. I meant it and I'll do it. And if it comes to a fight, bring it the **** on, treehugger."
Rig 17581 Share Posted July 1, 2014 [!} A note is left. [/!]War is not the way, join them, or find a new place to live so far away that attacking you in any numbers would be suicide. The High-Elves aren't doing good, but I myself as a cleric would hate to see more war, though if you need me, just call and I will aid in the healing of both sides wounded. Your cause is believed just, but suicide is a sin, and that is what your actions bring forth upon your own people, it is disgusting what the Aheral do to nature, but you have to ignore it for now, it'll fade with time. Your old friend, bringer of the light, Mythras Ardere-Sylvari. PS: Hi, it's been a few years. PSS: They'll get bored of trying to submit you to their will if you move far away, just wait until it clouds all over and disappears from their minds. Birdwhisperer 1174 Share Posted July 1, 2014 Elorna returns from Haelun'or with a grim expression, a phoenix perched on her shoulder and staring about in wide-eyed alert. She passes under the gates of Kal'Arkon accompanied by the sound of clanking armor from the wood elven guards by her side. As they approach the lift to the grove the phoenix takes off, its fiery wings stirring the air in warm gusts. The small woman walks straight and stiff under the heavy burden of the words she carries and her knuckles whiten from the tight grip on her wooden staff. Peace is all she wants. Peace, life, and unshed blood. Long had she thought, "Oh, what I would give for peace!" Now her silent exclamations are being brought to light. What she would give for peace.
Arkelos 1027 Share Posted July 1, 2014 The caverns below the Fringe lay quiet, as the snakes roam the caverns. Few and far between lay a mortal, one passing along a notice towards their master, a feminine shaped figure in the dark. She receives the note, and quickly begins to rise to her feet. A long exhale taken from her as she looks to the courier with a nod, dismissing him. A few hours later.. The figure would walk out of the caverns, tasting air for the first time in years as she sighs. Looking upon the crisp green earth as she lowers her mask, keeping the light out of her eyes as she trudges off to the Druids.
