A Question On Mind Magics

Is there a way using mind magics (A specific name would be nice to have also), That allows you to set off extreme unreasonable rage within someone, or a more specifically a large group of people, all at once.

Mental Magic can only effect one person at a time, I'm unsure about the rage part since Mental Magic can deliver words of influence upon an unlucky victim.

Mental magic can not connect to a large amount of minds at one (I think a master mental mage can do more than one but it's quite difficult) , so simultaneously doing it to a large group of people is out of the question. Furthermore, you can't (to my knowledge, I may be wrong) force an emotion on someone, but you can present stimuli that would create that emotion. Eg you can't make someone enraged, but you can make an illusion of their wife being held at knife point. THat sort of thing. What I'm saying here might be wrong as I'm not a mental mage and mental magic is locked. Remember that, it's LOCKED so you need a teacher for it. If you have a teacher, ask them

Light illusion/sensory illusion could sort of do this, although you may need to create some imagery that causes this. Not 100% sure about the details on this any more. I bet if you messaged Supremacy about this, he could tell you.

light illusion can do it. Phantasming is very taxing though. it's the most draining thing an illusionist can do. The more people they do it on, the more tiring it becomes - and it's very powerful as well.

 

On the other hand you could just make everything think the guy next to them called them a little ***** plough wagon or something.

Mental Magic cannot influence emotions at all, we can only create illusions. Atop this, we can only influence a single person at a given time.. Trying to do multiple would require very quickly swapping between minds and doing stuff, which would drain you of so much mana you'd struggle to get past the second victim.

And many answers about mental magic have been close to true. Mental Magic can only provide the means for which to manipulate emotion. However, it is an intimate experience through which you would have to discover something that will bait the victim into thinking and reacting as you anticipate.

 

So light illusion is definitely the way to go. But as has been said, Phantasm is super hard and generally should only really work on one target at a time because it is so difficult to force emotion without reasonable motivation. The further from their current emotional state, the more effort required to push them towards what you desire.

So if you are to influence a group of orcs with negative emotions such as anger and rage, then they're far more likely to be influenced by those than say, a group of giggling school girls. It's not that they're stupid. They have anger issues! XD
