Will we be getting racial buffs and debuffs? I'm curious about the halfling ones

Give the Halflings best brewing, best cooking and best fishing. And best farming. Then everybody hires Halflings to live in their lands. And cook for them.

 

Considering it, I can see the saying: "Cook or be cooked."

Halflings exchange their particular brittleness for significant experience boosts across the board.

To add to the question, do we know any of the other race's buffs and debuffs? I'm curious to see what each race is going to get.

We had buffs in 3.0 for like 1 week and it was trash. Orcs and Dwarves had a multiplier on damage and did diamond sword damage with stone. Buffs should always be portrayed in role-play and never mechanically, or else re-rolls are going to occur on races so people have their choice mechanical advantage.

But orcs are strong in combat, that is there racial buff. Maybe they could have an extra heart of health against melee mobs and players, not more attack damage though.

Dwarves could have mining buffs, like haste or efficiency, not something too overpowered like insta-smelt or two ores out of one block.

Elves could have some form of speed or jump boost? Or maybe since the are the longest living race, they gain slightly quicker experience with the professions plugin, just slightly.

Humans could possibly be able to learn an extra profession over the other races? Since they are the versatile, adaptable race they find it easier to learn skills.

Halflings cook more easily, enough said.

Kharajyr, since they have a small population, could have a small attack bonus? Before you tell me about how it majorly wounded Anthos, the kha are a very small race and it would be sad to see them disappear, so as a server community, we should make them seem like a promising race. It might draw in a few naughty people but it could start a snowball effect, players join kha, kha get popular, more players see race and join, increase in popularity. This buff doesn't have to be permanent, just to heal the nation.

They are my thoughts for racial buffs, but I'm open for changes.

See how the racial buff system is going to work is that every race gets a permanent buff, Orcs will get a perma str pot buff, dwarves get the perma resistance pot buff, and I'm not sure what other races get, but I heard they're giving each race a perma potion effect, which is pretty significant. A lot of these effects are around 15%, and I think it should be modified to a coded 5% buff instead of just slapping a potion effect, because those potion effects are quite significant.
