*A note is left posted under the sign*

"Dear Grunkk,

While you seek magic, I feel you should be better informed of the dangers of magic. Magic brings matter that is not from this world, into this world which causes an imbalance in nature. If you were more inclined in the ways of nature, and restoring balance to this world, I suggest seeking the druidic order. The grove is located above the dwarf city, and can be accessed by following the path around Alras.

Sincerely,

Someone"

Archibald nods thoughtfully and writes, "You NEED magic? For what purpose? AND why dark magic specifically? Why do you need to thrust yourself into a magic that requires you to sacrifice everything you have? You sound like a dolt. Study what magic truly is before attempting to ask for a teacher in DARK magic, you dolt."

Malice laughs a croaky-sounding laugh, his blood sounding as if it fills with blood

"I sense someone must be purged... they are seeking too much, as well as one who offers to teach."

Joseph opens his mouth speak at the sign for an arbitrary reason, but he halts, lowering his shoulders laxly as he decides he'll search out for this Grunkk and may consider testing his worth very soon, the frail necromancer inhales cavernously before rotating on his emaciated heels, taking his leave unannounced, exhaling with a grim and jaded sigh shortly afterwards, he has grown rather sick of witnessing only Elven necromancers these days.

Chase looks at the poster, his mouth drops and he facepalms.

((danial_tosh, I think you should rp your dwarf more before jumping into dark magics. See the finer things in being a dwarf, magic is only something a character should get after they have gained more experienced in what their identity is.))

((They took this away for the 4.0 plug in and for elitism to stop, so this lore is bye bye. It sucks and gave dwarves a difference and helped control powergaming of magic because it was more centralized. Other noble clans like the irehearts will still banish dwarves from their clan if they learn magic but commoner clans have no knowledge of the magical blood that runs through irongut veins and will use magic. Sadly, again, it has been taken away. T-T))

((The Irongut magic only lore was never official in the first place. It was just something OOCly enforced/recommended by the dwarven playerbase, which mind you I highly recommend to keep going.))

Gamle sees the note and grins.

Nug gasps hearing the man's comment. "Dat rewd!"

you can't really enforce that on players without their consent. it's bs imo.
