Guest Guest Share Posted July 12, 2014 Can't please everyone, some want realism and for it to take time to do things, others want ease, and quick stuff. Even people who want realism will get annoyed. I'm quite confident about that.
OhDeerLord 673 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Can't please everyone, some want realism and for it to take time to do things, others want ease, and quick stuff. ;D If you don't want to sit for an hour waiting for something to craft- go and buy it from someone who made it. Thats the point of this I think- To make some things tedious so every tom bill and sally don't have a massive ammount of things. This makes markets actual reputable places to go to because you might not be able to get something otherwise, unless you've got a friend that make the stuff.

Praetor 1550 Share Posted July 12, 2014 I tested this plugin when the crafting plug'in when they first made that beta for it and I have one concern. At first it was cool, original, innovative and fun to play with, but I feel like it will get quickly annoying to use. I remember in the beta, you had to create hinges before creating a door, which is cool and all, but after a while, I don't want to be sitting there for 10mins trying to make doors for a large build. It's a cool plugin, but I think its gonna get annoying fast (I hope they change the 1hr per armor piece), Who the fuc wants to bust their behinds going into every detail of making a door? I doubt we've had more than a handful of people ever care about the realism involved in making a door. I actually like the delay for armor making though. Finally, people might actually be like 'Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't rush headfirst into battle, this armor took a damn long time to make and I don't want to do that again too soon.' Looking at it from that angle, I actually agree with you about the armor :D Let's see how it works in practice.

Helbolt 129 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Even people who want realism will get annoyed. I'm quite confident about that. You can role play while it times out. I just wish combat interrupted the timer... that would reduce fighting, a lot.
Rhia 936 Share Posted July 12, 2014 If anyone wanted to know we are calling this map Thales. so... yay. Also, tech is working on configuring plugins and we hit a speed bump. Map will be out as soon as humanly possible.

Narthok 10416 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Kweek question if our characters are learning these skills and progressing through their professions then it doesn't really make sense rply for them to lose knowledge come 4.0. Characters that spend years or however long 3.75 is learning how to black smith then get to 4.0 and forget for no reason. Is there some sort of Rp reason for literally every character becoming incompetent at everything after learning that profession for an extended period of time?
Anderssn 1115 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Would be wonderful if people could record when they explore these lands and plugins, guides, lets play and what not. And post them on the forums. For those( like me ) who are for some reason not able to play these weeks. Thanks. Hopefully I'll be home to test them out before 4.0.

Sambosefus 47 Share Posted July 12, 2014 It was all a dream. . . . I like that idea, would be cool if we were all dreaming on the boat ride to 4.0 or whatever and Thales never really existed
